Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Former PA Governor/Big Democrat Macher Ed Rendell: Donald Trump's Comments About Women's Looks Will Hurt Him, Because, You Know, There Are a Lot More Ugly Women in America Than Attractive OnesThe difference between offensive and non-offensive comes down to a single letter: (D).Former Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell says Donald Trump's past comments on women will likely come back to haunt him because Rendell says "there are probably more ugly women in America than attractive women." The Democrat was offering his thoughts to The Washington Post on the likely Republican nominee's prospects for success in the Philadelphia suburbs when he made the comment. Rendell says Trump's comments might gain him some working-class Democratic voters, but will cost him Republican women because he says "people take that stuff personally." Yeah.....big Ed....you're a moron.
See, ugly people, especially women, don't like being reminded that they are ugly. They know they are ugly, but they live in a fantasy where people ignore it ad see past it. When you pop that bubble, they either get angry or despondent and they don't blame their ugliness, they blame the bubble buster....you. Trump might be...crude but he didn't burst the bubble, even with Fiorina he said she had resting bitch face. Which is different, it skirts the line, but its not calling uglies ugly. Not a single, damned thing he's said about any woman's looks (positive or negative) offends or bothers me. Some of it is actually pretty hilarious (ref: O'Donnell, R). Men say stuff about women's looks. Women say stuff about women's looks. Women say stuff about men's looks. Men say stuff about men's looks. I simply don't care. The thing is that I would be much happier to vote for the Democratic party that produced him than the one we have today. I do not think Ed Rendell hates America like many on the left, unlike Clinton he is vaguely competent as a politician, not particularly self destructive, and he has a certain annelidian charm that she utterly lacks. He may even have the sort of latent patriotism possessed by men and women like James Hoffa or Sam Giancanna. I'm voting for Gary Johnson myself, who is still more likely to win my state than Hillary, but if I could not, it would feel a lot easier not voting for Trump if the Democrats had a hack like Rendell or Daly as the nominee. I actually get what he's trying to say here. He's not making an argument against Christianity, he's making an argument for reinterpretation of Islamic teachings that call for conquest. The argument is really awkward and the wording poor, but I'm willing to put that down to translation issues.
Posted by: Christopher Taylor at May 18, 2016 02:13 PM (39g3+) __________________________ Nope. Francis was blaming the west for muzzie terrorism: "In the face of Islamic terrorism, it would therefore be better to question ourselves about the way in an overly Western model of democracy has been exported to countries such as Iraq, where a a strong government previously existed. Or in Libya, where a tribal structure exists. We cannot advance without taking these cultures into account. As a Libyan said recently, "We used to have one Gaddafi, now we have fifty." He's saying that it was western interventions in places like Iraq and Libya that causes Islamic terrorism. If we had just left well enough alone there, we'd have no Islamic terrorism. Of course, that argument conveniently ignores the fact that 9/11 (and many other instances of Islamic terrorism) happened long before Saddam and Quaddafi were disposed of by the U.S. But Islamic terrorism is still all our fault, because . . . Jesus was teaching world conquest! Jesus, who said to seek the kingdom within, is really the cause of all the muzzie terrorism in the world. Jesus told his disciples to go forth into all the world and spread his message of love, forgiveness, and peace. See, if we evil western imperialists had just left the muzzies alone, they wouldn't have wanted to kill us, no matter what Muhammad told them! Posted by: Obnoxious A-Hole at May 18, 2016 02:35 PM (QHgTq) I've come to believe that a person's posture, body language, facial expressions, and nonverbal cues play a lot larger part into what we consider attractiveness than a lot of people give credit for. I think that some women just believe that they're hot, and that confidence definitely comes through. It also works the other way too. I do ballroom dancing, and a lot of women clearly aren't comfortable with themselves. They're very self-conscious, and it comes out. It's very hard to act hot when you don't think that you are. The best partners aren't necessarily the most attractive ones, but the ones that are able to act attractively, and aren't afraid of the looks they're getting. How ugly are the Trump's SCOTUS picks? Asking for my friend Ed, from Philly.

"This is rich: WH Liar Josh Ernest just said he'd be surprised if any Democrats would find any of Trump's 11 choices to be a "consensus nomimee" whereas obama's nominee, Merrick Garland, is regarded by Republicans as a 'consensus nominee.'
This is precisely why I hate the Republicans. They put themselves in this position all the time, with absolutely no reciprocation or even the expectation of reciprocation. The Republicans are the Democrats' bitches." Huh? You hate the Republicans because of what a lying POS like Earnest says. He has no say in this. In my view, the Republicans are actually doing a good job blocking Garland. Posted by: Benji Carver at May 18, 2016 03:03 PM (OD2ni) 493
Nice work. Donald.
Is that supposed to be a comma? Posted by: Mister Magoo at May 18, 2016 03:00 PM (7gCCJ) Commas are for closers, four-eyes. My grandmama was in a comma. Four months, slobber all over the place, catheters and feeding tubes. The fart smell was worse than a drunken sailor. Not attractive at all! Posted by: Teh Donald at May 18, 2016 03:04 PM (TOk1P) 494

Booze.

>> nose stud? Drop about 5 points on the 1-10 scale. Smoke? >> Another 5 points. Vote Democrat? 8 points. Think Justin >> Beiber is great? 7 points. Tattoos? 3 points. Don't like to see a lot of piercings and metal in visible locations but in small amounts there is an element of 'okay, where ELSE?' that's tempting. Smoking's pretty much a -100. I guarantee you, by tonight, the media will get at least one of the 11 judges to publicly denounce Trump.
Posted by: Mister Magoo at May 18, 2016 02:58 PM (7gCCJ) Umm, Trump has had a vetting committee working on this Scotus pick list for some time. I highly doubt he published this list and none of the candidates knew they were being vetted. Certainly the #1 question for them would be would they consider serving on the court. If they said yes, then proper vetting would start taking place. They all would have known they are being considered. Even Cruz said last week to rumors of him being picked for the court that he wasn't interested. As far as the Dem's starting to find dirt on them? Not a problem. They will do that no matter who gets picked. Remember Clarence Thomas, a black justice who the Democrats did everything, including paying a liar to get up and say Thomas put a pubic hair on a coke can at her desk. You have to simply move forward and run over them. Posted by: Jen the original at May 18, 2016 03:10 PM (7tJHe) 499

... fuck pajama boy Earnest. Willett, for example, is extremely popular because of his tweets, which are funny and cute. he tweets more than any judge in the US, and he's gotten good PR for it even in the lefty national media. He's solid on the issues too, of course. Posted by: stace at May 18, 2016 03:10 PM (ozZau) 500

Posted by: Christopher Taylor at May 18, 2016 03:03 PM (39g3+) It's a great start. I take off 100 points for any man who spends more time on his hair than I do. That includes the likes of John Edwards and Donald J Trump. Never trust a "man" who spends that much time on his hair. Posted by: stace at May 18, 2016 03:14 PM (ozZau) 503

Marilyn Monroe was pretty but she studied this to perfection and
became inhumanly compelling as a result. Every single motion, the way she spoke, the tone of her voice, everything, completely practiced to one goal: to be insanely sexy. Posted by: Christopher Taylor at May 18, 2016 02:48 PM (39g3+) There is a story told by a photographer of hers. He was talking to her about how hard it must be for her to be recognized everywhere she went. She said words to the effect of "Oh no, I can go anywhere and nobody recognizes me." He replied: "I can't believe that." She said "OK, we'll go outside on Hollywood Blvd." - where his studio was. They walked up and down the street and nobody recognized her - or noticed her more than any other pretty girl. Then she said: "Now I'm going to turn on Marilyn Monroe and watch what happens." Within moments a large crowd of excited people had gathered. She talked to them for a few minutes then she "turned off" her Marylin persona and the crowd quickly dispersed with puzzled people saying "Where did she go - she was right there." Agree with the guy who said he would have a beer with Rendell. I hate his politics, but he's part of a four man crew that does the Eagles post game show and analysis. I think the show is really good.

Cameron Diaz was nuclear hot when she was in The Mask. She had a just a little baby fat back then. The she must have gone vegan and worked out too much. Posted by: Ignoramus at May 18, 2016 03:55 PM (r1fLd) 510
Good to know. Just googled her and she's married to radio talk show guy Charlie Sykes, whom I like.
Posted by: stace at May 18, 2016 02:53 PM (ozZau) Er, that's the same Charlie Sykes who grilled Trump before the Wisconsin primary. It was a disastrous interview for Trump. So I rather doubt The Donald will be picking Diane for anything. Posted by: Donna and V. Fast Eddy Rendell is infamous for opening his mouth and saying rather unpolitic things. He's smoother than Trump and far more charming, but he should understand gaffes better than anyone but Joe Biden.
Interestingly, Rendell has often gotten in trouble with his own team for saying things that were unhelpful to the narrative. For example, he got yelled at in 2000 when he responded to a question about the Gore vs. Bush recount by saying that ultimately he wanted SOMEONE to win. That was deemed too honest.... Ironies everywhere. Posted by: Jill v2 at May 18, 2016 05:31 PM (8048L) 512
