I mean, that's how drug resistance currently works...you give the bacteria some drug that pokes a hole in the cell wall, or the cell membrane, or interferes with its metabolism in some way and causes it to die. Western defense against muzzies does not depend on cracking iphones. The government is leaning on that excuse so that they don't have to do their actual job and point out that muzzies are the problem, not iphones.

Don Trump grasped the nettle. He said right off that he was fine with turning away refugees, and everyone at the time gasped in OMG SHOCK HORROR DID YOU JUST HEAR THAT. But now in retrospect it looks like prescient genius.
The frustrating thing here is that Ted could have done what Trump did, and he could have done it before Trump did, and he would be the one who looked like the tough farsighted leader. But Ted didn't do that. And now he's having to rush to play catch-up and alter his positions.
Note to the Cruz campaign: the window for thus playing catch-up is closing incredibly fast. If it has not in fact already closed.

Yes. Seriously, its not about a blanket ban on Muslims - its about acknowledging reality and not excluding consideration of participation in Muslim activities from the profiling databases.
Too many questionable Muslim connections should get you banned. Ignoring those relationships because of some vague commitment to higher ideal for human behavior is stupid and gets innocents killed.
If Catholics were still beheading people (aka the good, old days), then participation in Catholic function should be part of the profiles.

1. If you want to stop jihadist attacks in your country you must stop Muslim immigration into your country.
2. The truth remains the larger the Muslim population your country has, the more jihadist attacks you will have in your country.

So in conclusion: Trump is still not all the way there yet in getting it right, but he is a lot closer than anyone else running now. Cruz keeps talking about NATO. The same NATO who blundered into Libya and removed a secular dictator from power. Yes he was "evil", but what will replace him is worse. The same NATO that snooped around and helped assist the "Arab Spring". The same NATO who is clearly still down with Muslim refugees coming into Europe.
Worse, Cruz still cannot bring himself to utter the "dreaded" Islamic immigration pause. That would be admitting Trump was right. Even that was conditional with the word, "temporary". Yet even that is still one step too far for Cruz, who admitted after Trump said it, it was not his policy.
So the "Clown" is still closer to the truth than Cruz is about Islam and immigration, even if by pure blundering and luck. Cruz who is the Ivory League trained lawyer, who I once thought was so brilliant, yet each day is going in the wrong direction. This is what happens when you let Bush folks into your campaign, listen to stupid donors, and worse let Glenn Beck be your spokesman.

Most people are unaware that the USA has periodically banned certain groups from entering the USA. In the 1930's during the height of the Depression, we allowed almost no immigration here at all. We have banned Chinese, Mexican, those with contagious diseases, radicals from Europe, etc.
We have NO obligation to permit immigration. None. I believe there are several countries in the Middle East that do not allow immigration, Saudi Arabia being one that comes to mind.

Obama is being treated badly. Well, let's see. So far, none of the Castro clan greeted Obama and co. at the airport. Watch any arrival of a dignitary from a foreign country anywhere else, and the Queen or Prime Minister, etc. are at the bottom of the stairs to greet the visitor.
Castro during their combination news conference grabbed Obama's arm and raised it in the Communist salute. NO ONE does that. Picture Obama or Kerry grabbing the arm of one of the Saudi's and having him salute our flag, etc.
Castro kept interrupting during the press conference to spout off his communist drivel.
They made sure to have Obama stand in front of Che Guevera's portrait on the wall, etc.
Don't get me wrong, Obama asked for all this by going to Cuba and apologizing. But I believe this is what Trump is referring.

Trump's view as I understand it is that the Cuban government have actually been engaging in a series of not very subtle slights of Obama, as ways to show their own population that they aren't completely knuckling under to the hated Yanqui imperialist adversary.
For example, Raul Castro didn't personally meet and greet Obama on the airport tarmac. Raul has routinely done that for all other high profile international visitors.

They may not be the best plans, but I don't think the solution to our ills will be found on Internet comments. And at least it's better than what TFG has offered.
It could be a great deal worse than even the current low standard, though. No one offered "kill them all!" Yet. A plan that makes up for its lack of morals, and coherence, with being simple in its effectiveness. As long as you don't ask what the final effect is.

I'm not worried. I'm making sober assessments of the situation and offering reasonable and sensible actions. Of course, all threats from the arab/persian/muslim world start and stop with control of the gulf oil fields, but with regard to our population the US had been blessed with essentially no muslims in our population up until very recently. We are one of the only countries on Earth to have been so blessed and it would be prudent to understand that.
This is not about "very worried" people. This about reasonable people who can see the threats posed.

Hell, applications were approved months after the 9/11 attackers incinerated thousands.
We have been repeatedly lied to about the "vetting process" for Syrian "refugees".
1. There is no way to verify them, since the government isn't in control of all areas.
2. It isn't sharing any information with anyone.
3. We know that ISIS and private actors are manufacturing documents.
And here we find a pissing match on what is or is not realistic or workable.
Oh yeah, We're molesting people for nothing AND the Border patrol have stated repeatedly that they've been pulled back.
And diseases have run rampant.
And people are being killed after it was determined that 'sanctuary' policies and federal imperatives are contributing to it.
