FBI Will Be Angry if Criminal Recommendation Isn't Made

About who? Oh come on, you know about who.

Open Thread. I'm going to take a break until the debate. I'll be back to live comment it with you at nine.

Update: Ben Shapiro, and his audience, have been blocked in the auditorium by the howling mob of fascists. They cannot leave the building.

The leftists should be arrested for false imprisonment.

Damn shame he wasn't around to leak every detail, document and discovery about the Empress Dowager of Chappaqua.

Icing on the cake would've been if he could have leaked said documents to a still-living Andrew Breitbart.

*sigh*

But I would settle for Sen. Cruz having that whole dossier on her on a live, televised debate. Bet he could pick the one, two or three most damning documents, and just cause her to burst into a cackling fire, right there at the podium.

30 Repost from below

Holy Sh*t Headline!

Fox News reports on AG Loretta Lynch testifying to Congress yesterday where she said that career DOJ lawyers are now working with FBI agents on Hillary's e-mails. Fox says: "Legal experts say the assignment of career Justice Department attorneys to the case shows the FBI probe has progressed beyond the initial referral, or "matured," giving agents access to the U.S. governments full investigative tool box, including subpoena power for individuals, business or phone records, as well as witnesses."

So if this were a Law & Order episode we'd be past the Briscoe and Green opening and into the second half of the hour. The FBI has made a referral, so that this case has now "matured" to the point of DOJ involvement. This should be a Holy Sh*t Headline, especially when connected to another development yesterday.

That was Reuters reporting that Hillary's home brew server had emails with passages that closely tracked or mirrored top secret classified documents, but none that were the full version. The implication was that someone was copying and/or excerpting these passages on the secure system and then forwarding them to Hillary on her unsecured system. I'm looking at you Cheryl Mills.

Now we've been discussing this very thing here for months, but this feels like the noose tightening. I've learned that there would be a record of exactly who looked at the original secret classified document on SIRPNET, so that if it were Cheryl Mills who did the copying/excerpting you could prove that it was she in a court of law, or to a grand jury to get an indictment.

Put another way, there were things on Hillary's unsecure system that were copies of top secret classified documents that never should have left the secure SIRPNET system, and you can prove which of Hillary's minions accessed the original document on the SIRPNET system. QED. There's already an e-mail in the public domain where Hillary directs a minion to take a secure document off SIRPNET and send it to her unsecured, which proves that she was aware. There may be a lot more additional proof on Hillary's server, which has been in the FBI's possession for several months.

33 I, for one, will be extremely shocked if she is indicted. She is clearly in the wrong and should be indicted on numerous counts of fraud, malfeasance, money laundering, and influence peddling--just to name a few things right off the top of my head as a non-attorney spokesjoke. However, I do not think Loretta Lurch and Bobo want to open that bucket o' worms. Hillz knows things about where Bobo was during the Bin Laden raid and during Benghazi. If the Grand Old Hag is going down then the Magic Black is in danger.

58 That's one thing that is so frustrating about all this: the Hillary email server, and classified docs handling, while serious, is not the primary crime --- it's what she was facilitating with her private server and exchanging of classified info w/civilians. Can only imagine what the FBI has been able to piece together by tracking the email **exchanges** above and beyond verifying that X emails contained classified info.

Who transferred the info to unsecured email?
Who was the info forwarded to?
What were they using the classified info to do?

I don't think Barky has enough gumption to hate anyone very much. He's just too lazy and entitled. Now ValJar and Mooch, they both loathe the Clintons with the heat of a thousand thousand suns, particularly Hillz, so if they think they can get her indicted and make it through their last year of shitz and giggles, they might just try. It depends on how they truly feel about Biden, because if Hillz is indicted, then nobody in the DNC Uber Upper Echelon wants to be stuck with Bernie as their candidate.

68 @30 follow-up. If I'm right the buried lede is that the process has gone past the FBI to formally involve the DOJ.

Note that the Judicial Watch FOIA proceeding will now involve Hillary minions having to testify about how her home brew server came to be. There's high odds that the minions will have to plead the Fifth. If so, it'll be that much harder for the DOJ not to act.

Yeah but even so, it will imprint the idea of Democrat = criminal very close to the election. Had she been indicted 2 years ago and convicted 1 year ago, nobody would remember by election day 2016. My prediction stands that there will be scant record of Obama's 8 years in office - just look at all the records "losses" we know about at IRS, EPA, now Centcom. Can't prosecute crimes that just --poof!-- disappeared.

187 I get kind of tired of the way Troll is thrown around. You can't even tease kids with gentle goofing around without being called a troll. Its the catch all word for "I don't like what you have to say."

Troll has a meaning, its someone who specifically posts outrageous and provocative stuff in order to get a negative and angry response, thus feeding their need for attention or, if you're Bill Burr, its damn funny to you.

Someone being a jerk online isn't a troll. Someone posting stuff you don't like isn't a troll. Someone disagreeing with you isn't a troll, even if they do it disagreeably. Maybe they're an a**hole but they aren't a troll unless they do what is defined above.

207 So Hillary is on with Chuck Todd and with Morning Joe today and everyone acts as if they can't smell this huge steaming turd just off camera: Hillary's scandal. This has become totally absurd.

In her testimony yesterday, AG Lynch said: "that matter is being handled by career independent law enforcement agents, FBI agents as well as the career independent attorneys in the Department of Justice." She didn't have to provide that much detail. Fox News then reports that the involvement of the DOJ "career independent attorneys" means that the investigation has advanced to the next level which means subpoenas.

This is not consistent with the DOJ trying to bury this case. But who the f*ck knows.

357 On the subject of angry FBI agents it is probably good to remember that Mark Felt was an FBI agent who was angry that he didn't get promoted so he brought down Richard Nixon as "Deep Throat".

Now at some level that was easy because journalists are all leftists who love to destroy Republicans but as Machiavelli said, people will respond to fear more reliably than to love. First the FBI has to get evidence that can get reporters and editors sent to Pound Me In The Ass prison for felonies unrelated to their jobs and then, maybe as a demonstration a well known DC journalist should be sent away to prison for a crime that he really did commit to encourage the others.

Once you have journalists who will actually do their jobs and run stories rather than spike them, it should be pretty easy to keep leaking unfavorable stories so that the public demands heads. Some of the flunkies thrown under the bus will roll over and testify. Even if the Clintons have them killed, their video confessions can be leaked to YouTube and every blogger in the world.

Hell, I stop 'em outright. No more dollars wired to Mexico, save approved transactions. And too many are approved.

Mexico would be made to realize it ain't getting any dollars flowing in unless it starts cooperating with stopping it's citizens from flowing over the border. You want dollars flowing, you stop the people from flowing.

438 Man, I just finished watching Three Days in September, which is a documentary on the Beslan School Hostage incident in Russia. It's extremely hard to watch, given that so many of the dead were children. Gut wrenching.

I bring it up because it's events like this that make me think maybe Trump would be okay as President. I'd much rather we go back to the Bush/Reagan era where our enemies knew we had cowboys in office and attacking us would mean very bad things for you and your fellow cockroaches. Trump would have that. Definitely. So would Cruz. Rubio, not so sure.

But I never, ever want to see something like this happen again. I'm sick to death of the current Pussy-in-Chief we have now. One thing is for certain, Trump will be a light switch that sends the cockroaches scurrying.

I hope.

I live in one of the top 50 wealthiest counties in the country. Crime has always been something that occurs elsewhere.

In the past TWO WEEKS I've had to:

Attend the funeral of the son of a woman I worked with for five years. Her son OD'd on heroin. Most heroin is coming from Mexico. 50, 000 Americans a year are od'ing on this shit. Local police even are resorting to carrying stuff to stop the deaths.

My local Wawa had a drug bust. I've been to this Wawa a hundred times. The 'clientele' that hangs in the back are not American citizens.

I attended a court were a 16 something young girl had her smartphone stolen and got beaten up in the process. Perps attorney spoke to perp in Spanish, no English.

But keep burrowing your heads in the sand and keep ignoring the evidence. It's not gonna happen in your neck of the woods, right? Until it does.

473 I am reminded of Louisiana's 1991 gubernatorial election. The candidates: David Duke vs Edwin Edwards. For the younger morons, Duke is a white supremacist and Edwards had corruption issues (he was subsequently convicted of 17 felonies and served time in a federal prison). A famous bumper sticker at the time was "Vote for the Crook. It's Important".

It appears that the Democrat party is going to give its members a similar choice. Criminal or Socialist? Will they really put up an affirmed socialist when they have spent so much time and energy claiming that they are not socialists? Or will they go with the criminal?

Posted by: Skip at February 25, 2016 07:35 PM (fizMZ)

After what Washington is into, they need to try a lot harder than that.

THE MOB never jacked with my health insurance. Nor did they nostril-fuck the coal industry, or GM's bond holders. They didn't run guns to Mexico (okay, maybe they did, but it wasn't for the purpose of setting up a run at 2A). They haven't, last I heard, been running a fifteen year Forever War with no end in sight because the guys on the ground aren't allowed to win.

Speaking of which, THE MOB didn't decide the Marine Corps Infantry was the best place to have the glue-sniffing retardation of gender equality blow up in their faces (it hasn't yet. When shit gets real, it will).

THE MOB didn't leave my bud Seth, who had two vertebrae cracked from an IED, sitting in Germany for FOURTEEN MONTHS waiting on a place at a military hospital surgery. Know what a steady diet of Vicodin, Percocet and vodka does to a guy? Not very much that's good, that's fucking what.

THE MOB has nothing, nothing at all, on what Washington has done. Not just to us, but to a lot of other people. THE MOB didn't give Iraq to the child crucifying death cult World Eaters of ISIS. Nor did they ignore the revolution in Iran. And if four of their guys had been attacked and murdered...

THEY PROBABLY WOULD HAVE AT LEAST GOTTEN PAYBACK!

It's a hard thing with having lost my husband five years ago. besides the obvious, there's the fact that he was the love of my life, my soulmate, and I have *no* idea what he would have thought of all this (although I can guess it wouldn't be positive). Shortly after he died I would have a pretty good idea of how he'd have responded in a given situation. Now the combination of inevitable forgetfulness and not knowing how his opinions would have changed in the last few years as he grew older, means I just don't have a "feel" for his responses now.

Sounds great. I love South Africa even if it is getting a little frayed around the edges. The wine country around Cape Town is very cool. I spent a Saturday with a friend who is a local doing a wine tasting tour of the area. Ernie Els the golfer has a very nice vineyard, even has a putting green and an area where you can tee off.

554 Illegal immigration is a major concern for me, not
for just being in construction but I see the damage done in many ways.
The amount of money sent back to were they come from must be staggering.
It amounts to basically a trade deficit.

Posted by: Skip at February 25, 2016 07:44 PM (fizMZ)

Remittances are actually the third largest source of Mexican GDP but it is in no way a trade deficit.

Trade deficits work like this: I buy more stuff from you than you buy from me. You are left with a glut of dollars from all of the stuff I bought from you that you didn't then turn around and buy stuff from me with.

If the money orders sent to Mexico are ever cashed, they will be traded in for pesos. If they are not, they will likely be just used as a substitute currency. Either way, they are not going to result in a glut of dollars in Mexico.

592 L'elle. Rewind the tape to the year 2000. I'm fresh off of a '99 divorce, been living on the boat not quite a year, then.

Was pursued by and began dating a lass about 10 years younger than my (then) 41. Went very well for a few months, when she started getting squirrely and flighty.

Found out from friends she'd been slutting it up on the town with low life scum, while I was at work into the evening hours.

Mere heartbreak fails to describe the mind-breaking, soul-shattering destruction wrought upon me in that time.

Then, two years later, she runs a paternity test filing at me, cause her wee tyke reminded her of me.

Results came back 1000% *NOT* mine. And I've no given her so much as a word or pixel, since.

Some things are better off as a distant and disappearing dot in the rear-view mirror of life.

599 Trade deficits, which we've been running to the tune of $500B+ per year lately, and running them for decades, mean there is an excess of dollars get in foreign hands.

Now, what can they do with them. They can trade them privately for local currency, but someone always holds the dollars. The central bank can monetize those dollars into local currency. Create local currency against dollars, which it holds on the asset side. But they are not going to just hold dollars. They will buy Ts with them, loaning the dollars back (or they could buy private bonds, but Ts are the biggie).

The dollars can also be sent back via asset purchases, stocks, real estate, whatever.

So, that means every year, we piss out $500B+ of dollars, which are then used to buy assets here or loaned back to us.

Did the judge sign off on the unsupervised visits? If not I would be arguing hard that the judge keep visits supervised. There seems to be reason even in the psychiatrist's recommendation.

It sucks but regulatory capture is a thing in personal relationships too. If this guy has been seeing that psychiatrist a while, he may be just charming enough to sway the recommendation even if he is a sociopath.

in my experience they dont diddle the teens cause the teens talk. They start earlier, like 8 - 12

if someone has been molested in their mid teens more likely than not it has been going on quite a while. A teen will object and report unless they were groomed earlier

and FWIW, just as many boys as girls

619 Being 45 and single again doesn't exactly live up to the brochures, trust me. I've been divorced since 40 and haven't had one iota of luck finding a woman who is a.) not totally crazy (I can take a little crazy), or b.) not looking for the absolutely perfect single man who will make all their bubble bath dreams come true.

Seriously. I'm too old for this shit.

One of the best examples of this I I ever saw was an obviously wealthy man in his fifties pushing a huge baggage cart of Louis Vuitton luggage through the Cinncinati airport while trying to corral his two young children while the trophy wife strode on ahead. She looked back and his face brightened as he thought for just a minute she was going to help, nope, she just wanted to make sure the full length mink landed safely on top of the luggage.

If you are they praying sort, pray about it. I prayed after my husband died that if I was not meant to be alone, I would meet the right person. I did. 640 627: That won't work, unfortunately, it's been tried. Dude comes home and find wife in bed with another man. He blows brains out of man. Claims he thought someone was attacking his wife. Didn't fly.

Another one I remember along the same lines, the woman, cheating on her husband in that situation, upon seeing hubby coming in, starting screaming rape, hubby killed him. That didn't fly either.

If your husband invited the other dude in, the castle doctrine is nullified. He had a right to be there. Cops and prosecutors will investigate and find out that the victim was likely invited in by the adulterous spouse.

Tell your friend to remember she does not have to agree to anything in mediation even if the mediator gets mad a tries to pressure her.

I had to go through something similar and the mediator got absolutely furious because she thought I was being "mean" to my ex. I remained calm and refused any deal that wasn't good for our kids. In the end the judge ruled in my favor but it was reallllly nerve wracking. I am sure your friend is already doing this, but tell her she needs to document everything. If he eggs her house again, call the police and get a police report even if the police won't do anything to him. Keep a journal and write down any improprieties or difficulties she has while they are fresh in her mind.

709 I got married very young and divorced about 20 years ago. At the time I decided that if I never spoke to another woman again it would be fine. Met and married the worlds greatest girl about 5 years later, and wake up every morning wondering what in the hell I did to deserve her. So the moral of the story is that no matter how fucked up things are and how bleak it looks, there is someone out there for you if that's what you want.

Having said all that, I'm still moving to the desert to smoke pot and eat with kitchen tongs.

722 Speaking of house plants, This is a true story, I kid you not. Ex girl friend leaves, abandoning a green thing of some kind in a hanging basket. Not wanting to let the poor living creature die from neglect, I water the thing. After a couple of years it looks pot bound, and I'm thinking the poor thing needs a bigger pot. So I transplant and fertilize the plain green thing.

Well, it explodes with growth, I had kudzu *all over* the room like that StarGate SGC-1 episode where that plant takes over the base.

How beta do you have to be, to be dominated by an effing house plant?

I live alone now.

727 Because of the entertainment value of having things formatted properly and because it's just more sophisticated and uppity, I provide the following PSA: here are the things that work on this site. It makes everything so much easier to read. Look at your keyboards and find the "[" key and then find the "/" key and then find the "]" key and you will be almost all of the way there!

Here are some key codes for you, morons!

All credit should go to @BCochran1981, as a matter of fact.

[ *i ] [* b ] [* s ] [* u ] remove the damn "*", the freaking stars, and spaces between brackets [ */i ] [* /b ] [* /s ] [* /u ] and you will be able to quote people and add insults and cross out the word fuck any time you like.

738 Rubio, choice of the new generation, over Coca Cola. That marketing got them at least a 30% market share!

Except in Oregon, where for some reason Pepsi is more popular than Coke. I preferred RC better than both anyway, back in the day.

It used to crack me up when people claimed you couldn't tell the difference. Its like drinking 3 different beverages.

740 According to econ theory, trade deficits should adjust over time by the U.S. dollar decreasing in value and the peso increasing. Reserve currency status for the dollar and the liquidity of the dollar markets has short circuited the correction mechanism. Also, some countries use currency manipulation techniques to keep the value of their currency artificially low.

What has resulted is an increasing correlation of world economies and their economic growth (or lack thereof). The bad thing is that if and when the dollar loses reserve status, then the U.S. dollar will crash--hard and the resulting crash will probably wipeout the world economy along with cratering the world economy. Think the poverty that persisted in Great Britain after WWII impoverished them for a decade or so after the war. Currency controls, wage and price controls, import controls, shortages of basic goods, etc.

743 Anyone who thinks there will be some giant " revolt" at the bureau if Hillionaire isn't sent up for indictment, just doesn't know anything about the Feebs. The FBI is very political, and no more so than the DC headquarters. Those are the career minded, backstabbing political types who will run over anybody to promote themselves, but always, always, without taking ANY risk. There will be NO revolt...
