Only 4% in, but they think they have enough to call him a winner.

They cannot call the other places.

They have also called it for Sanders.

Throws a big juicy bone to the Establishment.

And BONUS, both Haley would actually be eligible under the Constitution to assume the office of the presidency. Unlike either Rubio or - most unfortunately - Cruz. (And I speak as a former Cruz supporter.)

Hong Kong's respected feng shui masters expect an incendiary mix as the monkey combines with the fire element, but also say the year ahead will be a boom time for clever innovation and women will be in the ascendant.

From Yahoo:

"The monkey is seen as belonging to the hard metal element, while fire represents the sun, says Hong Kong-based celebrity feng shui master Alion Yeo.

"When the two things combine, it creates an extremely high temperature. We have to be prepared for a lot of disputes, sickness," he told AFP.

"One can even associate fire and metal with missiles, bullets or rockets," he said."

Reactionary Monster @ #230,

I like a Nikki Haley as a potential pick for Donald Trump NOT because I am especially impressed with Haley.
Simply because she would placate the Establishment and unite the party for the general.
Truth be told, as much as I can't stand Rubio for his betrayals, I'd prefer him over Haley. But under the Constitution Rubio is not eligible for the office of presidency.

For me, the Constitution must come before even conservative ideology.

This is the Fire Monkey year.

I am hoping that all the yutes pulling for Bernz will get fed up with the Dims when he wins the nomination and they give it to Biden. The Dim machine thought they could slide Ma Clinton past the nomination machinery and finally get her paid off, but, now that it's looking like her crimes and unlikeabilty quotient are too much, they are facing a crisis with the Bernz, so Dims being Dims, they will do something sh!tty and underhanded and hopefully make several hundred thousand young voters volcanically angry with them. They can't afford to lose those young voters in the long because their coalition is old and creaky and worn completely through in a lot of spots, but, I bet they toss Bernie aside anyway and hope that youngsters won't leave them because have been brainwashed well enough to believe that Pubbies are evil incarnate.

Anyone with the slightest tenuous citizenship tie to America is now able to run thanks to these assholes.

But that leaves Cruz tied with Bush for 3/4th. This is not good for him.

Next is South Caroilina. Where Trump is leading. Cruz is currently polling second there, and SC is full of evangelical voters, but they also love them some Bushes. Rubio is not even on the board in NH so that won't be good for him, I suspect that he will end up behind Bush in SC despite being ahead right now. Kasich is at 2 in SC. So then comes Super Tuesday.

I think people are going to have to get used to saying President Trump.

474 Kinda early to make any kind of call but this could spell the beginning of a run for Trump. He kind of needed this win; it helps him seem inevitable and unbeatable. Iowa doesn't really you tell you a lot other than how well someone organizes. Votes are the only polls that matter.

So congrats Trump, and with a win of both Sanders and Trump it looks like voters are giving both party machines a two fingers up.

482 I expect a lefty vp pick from trump should he win nomination.

I don't actually. I expect him to stay hard right saying stuff that rallies cheer at, then veer to the middle left when he gets a solid batch of delegates, if not the lock. He won't need a left for the middle/left vote, he will be that guy. Carly? Maybe. I don't think we'll see another winning two white dude ticket again in our lives.

Oh, Hilz. I sort of want this to drag out for a long time. No done fall out and insert Biden as the DNC implodes.

I think the youth, wanting free stuff, are totally into the old humpback socialist. So if the DNC does some tinkering with the plan, they are going to be AWOL. Which is good! It's all good (well, except the katshit part of tonight's theater).

All in all, it is February (I think) and I am totally sick of politics.

Yes they are. The final ARG NH poll just about nailed it, except that about 3% of Rubio's vote peeled off at the last minute and went to Trump/Cruz/Bush.

So the polling might be pretty accurate after all, which makes South Carolina right now look like Trump 36%, Cruz 20%, Rubio 10%, Bush 10%.

However much I think Trump is an abrasive jerk and a bad, bad idea for President that will not turn out the way people think; he does seem to choose strong women (other than Marla Maples) and he does seem to raise his children into decent, apparently productive adults (other than his daughter with Marla Maples who seems to be a vacuous Paris Hilton wannabe).
