Clintons Eye Staff Shake-Up After New Hampshire

When you really need to replace the candidate, but can't, you've got to replace everyone else.

Hillary and Bill Clinton are so dissatisfied with their campaign's messaging and digital operations they are considering staffing and strategy changes after what's expected to be a loss in Tuesday’s primary here, according to a half-dozen people with direct knowledge of the situation.

The Clintons -- stung by her narrow victory in Iowa -- had been planning to reassess staffing at the campaign’s Brooklyn headquarters after the first four primaries, but the Clintons have become increasingly caustic in their criticism of aides and demanded the reassessment sooner, a source told POLITICO.

The talk of shake-up echoes what happened in 2008 -- when Hillary Clinton was on the verge of sacking her campaign manager and several top communications officials -- before her surprise win here bailed out her beleaguered staff.

The password is "schlonged."

Funny: Hillary's top donor is the Fat Shaming Corporation Slimfast.

37 I am surprised that this is getting out there. I was always impressed with the Clinton machine's ability to never let any bad news out, or to at least put the best spin on it. This does not look good.
Maybe the wheels are coming off the bus, and this could be more about internal polling of the south than it is about new hampshire, where they should have always expected to lose to the Bern.

Posted by: Aetius451AD at February 08, 2016 02:26 PM (iHjB5)

38 And while I used to (and still do) think that Bill Clinton is a gifted politician, he is well past his prime. And his prime is overrated. He never received over 50% of the vote, he was impeached, and he beat a Bush who voted to increase taxes and then a fossilized Dole. And of course his personal history is now a complete liability in this PC era. The Clintons are done as a political force.

42 I don't want to "settle" for Clinton's career ending, because the rule of law is in bad enough shape as it is.

I could see a "settlement" with reduced penalties but full legal consequences otherwise, as long as she's prohibited from public service *because of her abuse of that responsibility*.

But otherwise I expect to see gangs of roving thugs at polling places any time, like in third world countries.

Reuben Kincaid sits down next to a young woman and asks "You really are a fan of old Bernie here? Why?"
Young woman: "Despite my being a committed feminist Bernie Sanders says the things that need to be said, addressing the needs of the females of my generation."
RK: "Really? But isn't Hillary a woman? I always thought you feminist chicks would hang together."
YW: "Chicks! He called us chicks! Micro-aggression! Safe spaces!" She pulls out a bottle and maces Reuben.
RK: "AHHHHHH! My eyes!"
Young woman gather around him and shout "Safe space! Safe space!"
RK: "I'm gonna be blind!"
Bernie turns about and shouts "Free graduate school for all Social Justice Warriors!"
The young women turn and shout "Up twinkles! Up twinkles!"
The first young woman turns to Reuben as he claws at his face. "That is why I support Bernie Sanders, despite his being a pale person of penis such as you! He understands the needs of my generational cohort!" She kicks Reuben several times before shouting "I should report you for a sexual assault, questioning a person of cisfemale gender and her choices!"
Bernie: "I love these kids and their progressive attitudes! Hey - who here wants to stick it to the man?"
All the students: "Yay!"
Bernie: "Down with the establishment! Down with the establishment!"
The students take up the chant, one shouting "I can't wait to destroy the establishment! It, like, so oppresses me!"
Bernie: "You said it, I've been fighting the establishment for years, covertly - say what school do you kids go to anyway?"
The students reply "Dartmouth!"
Bernie: "That's what I thought - real anti-establishment rebels."
Reuben rocks on the floor of the bus, clutching his crotch and his eyes, as Bernie drives further into New Hampshire.

For all the fact that Bernie Sanders is old, not particularly bright and favors a political platform that is nearly identical to that of Hugo Chavez, he compares well with Hillary Clinton because 1) he is more honest than the pathological liar in a pants suit and 2) he does not seem to hate the United States and its population with a burning passion like our current President and Hillary Clinton.

"At our February 4 regular business meeting, the School Board adopted Supertintendent Asshole's proposed FY2017 operating budget (the Advertised Budget). A budget is fundamentally a statement of values, and the Advertised Budget reflects the community's unwavering support for excellent public schools. It includes critical pay increases for our teachers, begins to address class sizes, and, most importantly, proposes no cuts to the great programs that we expect..."

First, no wonder kids are graduating who can't navigate life if they think a budget is a "statement of values."

Second, left unsaid here are the veiled threats that Superintendent Asshole made that if the budget wasn't approved that school programs would be cut.

SMDH.

225 Even though I'm relieved Hillary's campaign is as inept as that of most of the Republican candidates, I can't find it in me to hope she loses the Dem nomination to Bernie Sanders.

The idea of that commie from Vermont getting anywhere near the presidency gives me chills--not so much because Sanders is a frightening figure himself (although I do find him spooky in a ranting crank kind of way) but because the Progressive movement's inner circle is compromised of the most hardcore Marxists ever seen outside Stalin's Politburo.

They really are happy fun camp kinds of people, straight-up ideologues along the lines of Bill Ayers. They're an Orwellian boot-on-the-neck-forever crowd and they're now part of the Democratic Party mainstream.

Am I the only one really bothered by this? I mean, I hear Ted Cruz labeled an 'extremist' all the time yet not once not ever have I heard Bernie Sanders portrayed as in any way extreme. She has about 350 of the Dem "Superdelegates" (elected Dem officials) that are pledged to her already, and if you look at the contest, it's about 400 to 60 right now.

That said, there are a lot of people that believed that Hillary! actually had more delegates than Obama back in 2008 at the DNC Convention, but it would have been the end of her if she actually challenged the results, so the party just nominated Obama by acclamation.

This is an observation not a statement of opposing principle.
First: there are degrees of the pro life position. Most of those who self identify as pro life will still, reluctantly, not oppose a rape exception.

Second: not all but most, most women, will be strongly opposed to any candidate who strongly opposes abortion under any circumstances, including rape and incest and catastrophic birth defects.

You can of course hold any belief you choose, and you may be convinced there is no moral alternative position, but you can't choose your own electorate.

NYS goes democrat no matter what. Bernie wins NY more in-depth than Hillary would. Trump gets the most votes, with preferences going to around 34-35%, this gathered from polling and surveys amongst conservative orgs in the state [though conservative org leaderships are typically pro-Rubio].

Rubio comes in next, at around 18%, then somebody, I think Carson, is tied to Cruz at 17%.

All of that can alter by the time the Primary comes.

That would allow a lot of Millenials to escape the crushing debt that they were duped into taking on for their useless degrees. The root cause of the problem is the Griggs v.Duke Power Supreme Court decision but I don't see a way around that any time soon.

Then, I would recommend states that are controlled by Republicans to exert more influence on their state university systems. Do a local analysis to determine which are the strongest bastions of left wing thought and offer the universities the choice of getting rid of their bullshit-studies program or firing their most outrageous left wing professors or seeing the amount of funding that pays for those departments or individuals transferred to the community college system to pay for more young people to learn useful skills.

354 Young women are seduced (heh) into feminism in
college. They follow their dreams and find themselves alone, without a
good job and in massive debt.

Bernie's ridiculous free college schtick is incredibly attractive to them.

Posted by: AmishDude at February 08, 2016 03:13 PM (Xd2w5)

Proof positive that they're idiots. Anyone who's in college now, and wants college to be free, is an imbecile. They'll be long out of college by the time "free" college could come into being, and therefore either a) in the work force, b) unemployed, or c) working at Starbuck's, which is essentially b).

So they themselves will not and cannot benefit from what they are now supporting, but if they can get a job, they will be paying for others to dick around in "college" on their dime.
Genius.

Yes I know the difference - and Tunguska as an airburst was a meteor - since it didn't hit the ground.

360 Steinam is the one that said "gee, marriage is pretty cool after all". When they require college women to read the stuff the feminists churned out, they should also read their biographies. Lots of unhappy, bitter (and sometimes mental) old ladies in that group.

Don't want either. It's a choice between secret police and death squads--although I might lean more towards secret police since 'secret police' doesn't have 'death' in its title. It's a little kinder and gentler sounding although I imagine the result is the same.
