Trump, Annoyed by Frequent Coordinated Disruptions at Burlington, Vermont Rally, Tells Guards to Turn One Disruptor Out Into the Ten Degree Chill and "Confiscate His Coat"

I am so repulsed and ashamed by this boorish conduct that I just came in my pants.

"No coats! Confiscate his coat! Send it back to him in a few weeks!"

Not Ten Degrees? Trump said it was ten degrees, but a commenter says it was actually mid-thirties. Not particularly cold.

Then again, that commenter calls himself Captain Dogcock, so I'm not sure I should take his word 100%.

10 Remember the good old days when two sides would fight it out in the streets?

Remember those street protests in Japan where there was a line of police and a mob of people with long bamboo poles beating on the heads of the police. Or was that Hong Kong and the fight was about a new airport?

Any those were the days when union thugs would take on the hippy protesters. Back when baby boomers were younger and could get out of their comfy chairs.

this is not about Trump being some macho drug lord boorish political kingpin who will cause well-suited Ivy types like Jake Sullivan to slink ashen-faced in the corridor and mutter acid little insults over his next Moscow Mule

84 I streamed that whole speech last night and the protesters kept it up.. timing themselves about 5 minutes apart... and after that one that didn't get his coat and evidently was demanding it back, Trump started telling security (and the crowd) to take the coats from subsequent protesters.... and to hurry up because in a few cases security was not quick... and Trump actively called on them to start getting handled rougher... because he said... then the protesters would stop. Heh. Kinda incitie-violence-esque and yet I've not read crap about that today. Pretty funny.

In a Large turnout election, 60% of the electorate votes...

ergo to win, you need 30.1% of the electorate, to get to the polls, and vote for you...

Obama used this twice, with large turnouts of minority voters... where those minorities had a larger impact on the election, because they were motivated to get to the voting booth.

Ergo.... Trump only needs to MOTIVATE the PISSED OFF ANGRY WHITE GUY>.... like.. me... to get to voting booth, to vote for him.

92 Their plans destroyed, the leftists and GOPe retreat to their refuge far on the left coast, hoping to negotiate a deal to return from obscurity. Trump, knowing that they may never properly pay for their treason, tracks down the Establishment hideout. After The Donald defeats the liberals and GOPe SJW force and destroys their facility and supplies, Trump has the survivors stripped naked and left to die, taunting them to 'reconnect with their base.' When no survivors resurface in nearby towns, one agent notes that although people try to preserve their electabilily, the electorate is not known for returning the favor.

106 Thirty degrees is cold enough. It's the humidity; the heat capacity of the water vapor in the air. Sucks the life right out of you.

Now if it's really cold, there is less moisture in the air which makes it a dry cold. Dry air acts like an insulator. You don't get hypothermia, but you do get frostbite rather quickly.

I'm guessing that no coat was confiscated because security for the venue doesn't take orders from Trump and even if they were his security, I doubt they did it anyway.

More like they took him into a room somewhere and questioned the shit out of him about who he was with and who else was in the crowd.

Again the media interprets what Trump says and goes apeshit over their interpretation rather than the facts.

Think of the Code Pinko who was *invited to Bush's 2nd inauguration* by a CA Rep (think it was Jane Harman) who heckled Bush. Nothing is off-limits to these people who have been coached on these tactics since middle school, got their practice in heckling conservative speakers while in college, flinging glitter bombs on conservative writers and candidates, etc.

Trump just changed the rules (or really, when he threw out Jorge Ramos a few months back): no more tolerance for this crap.

Oh, Teddy rocked indeed. I went through a big phase of reading all the TR bios so I don't remember where this is from, but it's from the ranch life days.

He's in - where did he ranch, North Dakota? - and he's brought his two best Maine guides out as ranch hands. He has basically the only boat in North Dakota.

Some bad guy fleeing a bad guy thing comes upon his ranch, steals the boat, and makes an escape downstream.

TR and the guides build a new boat, it takes them a couple of days. They set off downstream in the new boat. During the time that it takes to catch up to the bad guy Teddy occupies himself with finishing writing the biography of Colonel Somebody which he is preparing for publication.

Then they surprise bad guy at his camp fire, march him overland to the railway for transport, and arrange to have the boat sent back.

Pure raw leather badass.

Sure, I'll vote for Trump if he wins the nomination fair and square, just as I voted for Romney, who didn't have the stomach for a fight, and for McCain, who stays up late at night and wonders if he's really a Democrat. Trump's no better or worse than they are, all things considered.

But Trump hasn't won it yet. Eventually, probably after New Hampshire, primary opposition to his candidacy will coalesce around one or two others--I'm guessing Cruz and Rubio or maybe even Cruz and Christie since Rubio's campaign staff keeps making sophmoric mistakes--making it a three-way race. Then it's anybody's game.

182 If I click on the video, I will finally hear Donald Trump's voice for the first time.

Not sure I'm ready for that.

So far, in my life, I have somehow managed to even hearing Donald Trump's voice. Seriously.

Primarily this is due to:

1. Almost never watching television. I can't honestly say "never," because on rare occasional I will watch a PBS mystery show, but I can say "never" about watching the national news, or anything that might feature a politician's voice.

2. Sound is OFF on my computer when using the internet. Only on rare, rare occasion will turn it on for some specific video.

Much happier this way. It limits the barrage of newsertainment stimuli to only the eyeballs, and not the earballs. Makes life tolerable.

So, yeah, I think I'll skip the video for now. It'd be funny if he made it all the way to President and I still hadn't heard his voice yet.

There are videos of Cruz having to deal with screaming activists at his campaign appearances. In the two I've seen, it's been close quarters (not a stadium) and Cruz will engage them in a calm discussion and hand then their a$$es without them even realizing it. Thing of beauty.

Trump and Cruz have different approaches, but both have got some skills in turning the protests to their advantage.

Defense contractors have tried to distribute production to curry favor since the 1950s, but Lockheed has taken it to a new level now with the F-35.

I'm instinctively against the strong presidency, but the more I fell in love with the guy the more I started thinking, "well, if we can have a strong president like this one..."

troyr, yeah we're on the same page here. I can't not vote when I forced myself to vote for McCain and Romney unhappily.

One thing that might help sway you bc I know it's one of your big issues, I sincerely believe Trump is prolife. His national spokesperson was being interviewed (by CNN?) and was asked about a pin or pendant that she wears of magazine clip and what it signified and she replied by saying "You know, I think I'll start wearing one of a baby to signify the 50 million unborn children that have died from abortion."

I'm paraphrasing but it was awesome. Someone that dedicated to the cause wouldn't align themselves with Trump without knowing for certain that he is on the same side. I may be wrong, but I have given up hope that any president can do anything significant on the life issue bc the courts will just reverse it and declare it unconstitutional.

341 339 297 Can someone please get up during Obama's last SOTU address and shout: "You've almost ruined this country you Crypto Muslim Commie, Shut the hell up."?

I like your thinking except the "almost" part...

344 Imagine what the narrative would be if Trump wasn't in this. It would be wall to wall War on Women, racism, amnesty, chamber of commerce sweetheart stuff, post-nationalism, milquetoast garbage. Just by being there Trump is directing the conversation where it needs to be. Every other candidate in the GOP race aside from Cruz would without any doubt be an absolute disaster for Americans.

I'd be clutching my pearls if this was 2006, B.O. (before Obama), when the nation was somewhat sane.

It's not sane anymore. And when in an insane Rome, you need someone will balls. Give me a "credibel alternative" and I with ya.

But for now it's "Trump for 2016 - What can he do, fuck it up?"

Posted by: SaltyDonnie at January 08, 2016 04:47 PM (i6shs)

347 sadly, annie C read my tweet about how it's awful for the GOP to be represented by a masculine decisive trump as some sort of cucky lament.

I get more twitter traffic as for hate than I do for instapundit/ace rewteets.

349 I also agree with Christophet Taylor that Obama's egregious abuse of power sets us up for a dictator at some point. I could easily see Hillary being one or whoever her Valerie Jarrett behind the scenes is-Huma Abedin?

If Ronald Reagan didn't destroy the GOP, that must mean Trump is incapable of doing so?

I'm willing to try it anyways.

352 Yep, that was pretty funny. Trump was even funnier the day before when Trump sarcastically "reprimanded" a man in his audience who shouted out that Obama was a "Muslim" and "admonished" a man who said Hillary was in the bathroom. Trump said he was doing it for the press, LOL. Here's the clip, had my clapping!

And Cruz would quite possibly be out of the race by now if Trump weren't taking the fire from the DOPe. They were gearing up to go after him just before Trump announced and gave them a target they fear/hate even more.

I wouldn't be even remotely paying attention cause short of indictment it would be over already, and the fight would be over just how fast amnesty and citizenship would be granted to all the illegals and if we were going to import 250k Syrians or 100k, not to mention similar insanity on all other topics.

I agree completely, without Trump this would be enough to slit your wrists over. At least now its entertaining and all the old tired crap has been kicked aside.

I'm willing to try it anyways.

Well its worth the attempt at least.

Right, Churchill?

Sure. At the end of the day, US politics in 2016 is pretty much a direct analogue to say . . . The Cleveland Browns.
Why not hire a baseball analytics guy to run your personnel office, can't be any worse, am I right?
Let me just tell you. It. Can. Always. Be. Worse.
But what the heck, its not like there is a viable alternative.

365 GENDER: Masculine
USAGE: Scottish, English
PRONOUNCED: DAHN-ald (English)
Meaning & History
From the Gaelic name Domhnall which means "ruler of the world", composed of the old Celtic elements dumno "world" and val "rule". This was the name of two 9th-century kings of the Scots and Picts. It has traditionally been very popular in Scotland, and during the 20th century it became common in the rest of the English-speaking world. This is the name of one of Walt Disney's most popular cartoon characters, Donald Duck...

Deal with it!

366 I want to see Sanders supporters heckling Trump get nightsticked into the emergency room. I want them to have broken skulls, broken arms and broken legs, and that's only because it's not possible to have them shot. The bastards on the left have thought they had a monopoly on political violence for a long time and they've had no qualms about using it. I hope Trump's security teaches these scumbags that their days of disrupting conservative events are over? They want to play at being Spartacists? No problem. I'm fine with giving them a Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht.

This one's for keeps. The Right needs to start acting like it.

Because we have all been paying for his armed security since 1992.

In a just world, the brothers and friends of one of his victims would have taken a baseball bat to his knee. Let that remind him of what he'd done with every step he took, for the rest of his miserable rapist's life.
