Cologne's Police Chief Suspended and/or Put Into "Provisionary Retirement" Following New Years Eve Attacks

The mayor says she wasn't "fully informed," which i take to be deceptive. Emmanuelesque.

The number of complaints is now up to 170.

Meanwhile, Finland's cops now admit, a week later, the same thing happened there, and these attacks were definitely planned and coordinated.

Finnish police reported Thursday an unusually high level of sexual harassment in Helsinki on New Year's Eve and said they had been tipped off about plans by groups of asylum seekers to sexually harass women.

Police said they had increased their preparedness "to an exceptional level" in Helsinki for New Year's Eve after being tipped off about possible problems.
"Ahead of New Year's Eve, the police caught wind of information that asylum seekers in the capital region possibly had similar plans to what the men gathered in Cologne's railway station have been reported to have had," police said in a statement.

The deliberate, government-mandated stupidity continues:

Koskimaki said police did not see a link between the Cologne and Helsinki incidents.

Of course not. It was probably a spontaneous demonstration sparked by a YouTube video.

Germans, meanwhile, are attempting to arm themselves with what arms are permitted to them -- all of the pepper spray in the country has been sold out.

I wonder if our sophisticated European cousins are thinking a little differently about America's boorish gun-rights culture.

In fairness, didn't the reporting say that the didn't actually arrest any of the perps? If I recall correctly, they said they just took down their names for further investigation. And then proceeded to bother the people complaining about the attacks because racist. I couldn't sleep one night several weeks ago so I turned on the tv and stumbled over an old episode of this show. I couldn't believe how racist it was. They had Jim Carrey dressed up as Arab doing some sort of singing thing and he was ululating and bouncing around on a camel in a turban. Another sketch had an Asian in it and was pretty racist too. You could tell the guy that ran the show, Keenan something or other, was a huge racist.

I am asking the congress to consider common-sense legislation to restrict further military spending. I respect our military and their right to be targets for other country's militaries.
