9. The Corn Lobby
10. The Corn farmers
11. The corn. The actual stalks of fucking corn
12. The Ex-Im Bank
13. The Bank of America

20. People who haven't voted for a Republican since 1960
21. People who are barred from voting Republican because they were convicted of a felony
22. People who are barred from voting Republican because they were convicted of a felony and are also foreigners and also dead
23. Mohammad Atta
24. Other foreign terrorists
25. The illegal immigrant children of foreign terrorists
26. A stalk of corn once touched by the illegal immigrant children of foreign terrorists

and finally:

according to this member of turkish parliament, the sarin gas came from Europe, went through Turkey with the governments knowledge, and ended up in the hands of "moderate rebels" Al Qaeda in Iraq.

Then, a few months later, someone Sarin gassed civilians and the US and Europe were quick to blame Assad. Who has said from the beginning that he had nothing to do with it.

264 OT. Read that link in the sidebar about the "Skydeck" airline seats. Meh, I say. What's the most interesting thing that one is likely to see from an airliner? Barring Kate Upton doing a striptease in the bay window of a nearby UFO, it's going to be the ground, right? I mean, the sky, you can see it from the ground, without having to look through a plastic dome, smudged by the fingerprints of a dozen be-hijabbed airplane cleaners. But airplanes can give you, well, a bird's eye view of the ground.

Instead of spending several million dollars each to install these goofy bubbles on airliners, airlines would be better served to simply install one or more good quality video cameras in domes on the underside of their aircraft. Feed the camera output(s) to dedicated channels of the in-flight entertainment system, which is, get this, already there. I know I'd much sooner watch high-quality video of the Grand Canyon than some POS Hollywood movie that enriches already-wealthy Leftards.

274 Story on Dallas' NBC local news station the other night about how much the Gov't is spending on illegal children.

$500 per day, per kid.

The government is paying a San Antonio based organization (supposedly a non-profit - they likely don't profit b/c they pay their executives so well) millions per year to house these kids at church camps (one of which is a Seventh Day Adventist camp in Rockwall, TX). The language used in the report leads me to believe it was a no-bid contract - a statement was made that "it was the only outfit that could handle this many people" [which is a sure sign it was no bid].

For the cost of 2 days of room and board, all of these "children" could have been flown first class back to their country of origin.

Last night's story was a tear-jerker about two kids about 14 and 16 who came up from Honduras alone to join their mother, who lives in the Dallas area (and supposedly came to find work). Apparently the relatives back in the home country weren't nice to the boys, so they packed up and snuck into country after country until they made it to Dallas.

In fairness, the report did end by saying these youngsters have a lawyer and have been granted the permanent right to stay, but did not answer these burning questions:

(1) So, the mother is illegal. why is she still here?

(2) Why are these kids allowed to stay? Because their relatives were mean? Hey if that's all it takes, I'm sure every poor kid in the world will dream up some mean relatives ....

(3) If the relatives were mean, why didn't the mom go take care of her kids, instead of encouraging them to be lawbreakers too?

(4) I'm sure she paid off a coyote to bring them here ... why was that overlooked by the reporter? (oh, wait .... because this is THE MEDIA, even in Dallas, where they ham-handedly try to get take up the leftist cause).

(5) And who is footing the bill for the ESL classes, the heath insurance, the food on these kids tables ... oh, yeah, that would be you, the US taxpayer.
