I don't know... okay, that last part, who knows, perhaps that was a blackmailer's attempt to make his blackmail "legal" -- that is, the real play was blackmail over the videotape, but that would be illegal and criminal, so he claims "he gave me herpes" as a legal cover for the blackmail play. Obviously, Charlie Sheen has a lot of skeletons in his closet, and those skeletons are all smoking crack, and going down on each other.
The other man in the video reportedly sued Sheen for giving him herpes

AIDS is more easily transmitted in Africa for a couple of reasons, mainly cultural.
For one thing, men over there like to fuck raw instead of there being any lubrication involved. Friction plus skin equals open cuts during their unprotected sex.
I think there is also a higher rate of uncircumcised men over there and that contributes as well for the same reasons.

Very true. I recall years ago Dana Plato (Different Strokes) was on Howard Stern and swore how she was now totally clean and even offered to swear on a stack of bibles that she had stopped using drugs. She OD'd a couple of days later.

RDJ's portrayal was probably the single accurate thing to the book in that entire movie.
Excellent book and you can take one look at people like Jack and Kelly Osbourne to see that it was dead on accurate in depicting kids of the rich and or famous.

I'm guessing you must not have heard the allegations of child abuse tied to that film. I can't watch that movie any more after reading about that. Corey Haim was allegedly molested by an older man during the filming of that movie. There's a lot of speculation online about which older man was the
abuser, but nobody who knew about the abuse and talks about it now has actually named him out of fear of litigation. This guy allegedly told Haim that it's normal in the business for older men to have sex with younger boys. That was the start of a long history of sexual abuse for Haim, which led to his drug addiction and eventual death.
