Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | ZOMG Donald Trump Said Something Outrageous Fourteen Years Ago! [Y-not]Seven days after September 11th, Donald Trump was interviewed by Page Six, primarily concerning how (or if) NYC should rebuild the Twin Towers. His remarks, which you should take the time to read for yourself, are being characterized as beyond the pale (eleventy!11!!!). His crime is saying that the Twin Towers were not 'great' buildings. I think the criticism is silly. The part that interests me is not his opinion about the quality of the Twin Towers as works of architecture. Rather, I'm stunned by how much more cogent he sounds in this interview than the Donald Trump of today. His word-choice is much more sophisticated and includes words like demise, soul-soaring, essence, and altered. Obviously, not an endorsement of Trump. I still wish he'd throw himself into a volcano. But it irritates me when something patently dumb like this is used to try to attack a candidate, even one I dislike immensely. @Jackmcoldcuts on Twitter remarked how Trump's love for NYC shines through in that interview and I agree. Why didn't he run for mayor?Open thread. Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

I've been a Trump supporter for a while now. I think he's just what this country needs. It's going to be a long year, so much or nothing much could happen. Either way, I like his love for this country and his optimism. Plus, I can't even imagine cleaning up after the f'er in office now. It's going to take someone with balls and big ideas.

So, his complaint was that those buildings, which, I'm sorry, came out of the same artchitectural school as Cabrini Green, by the looks of them, should be replaced by a soaring monument to the resilience of the American people?
This is controversial? Well, of course it is. Of course it is. Trump ain't my guy, but he was right when he said that. No one listened to him, apparently. Posted by: Herr Morgenholz at November 22, 2015 06:25 PM (EUMr7) 10

Much was made of the Twin Towers before they fell. The engineering, you know, was just impeccable. There were hours of documentary about how...wind-resistant they were. And that exoskeleton, oh baby. But the best part was how that grille-work on the outside had the arch profile so common in Islamic culture. That showed how One-World we had all become. And it's true, they really did Become One with them.
Being way the hell over budget, siphoned for corruption funds, and completely envisioned, planned and owned by government departments also made them great examples of everything America was really about. Did I hate them? Yes. I did. Posted by: Stringer Davis at November 22, 2015 06:30 PM (xq1UY) 24

Yeah, but if that would happen all we'd have are the Me Too No Amnesty and Me Too National CCP Reciprocity candidates. We all sometimes question the veracity of poll driven Me Too candidates. But like trump, we have to take them at their word, even if the one may say unpopular things before they are popular and the others say me too afetr it is popular. What? Admittedly, that is pretty stupid. If you want to cut the money out from under the jihadists, you TAKE OUT the middle east oil fields (I'm looking at you, you Saudi fucking backstabbers), in order to drive the price up enough that it's efficient for American producers to make a killing in the international oil markets. The police were too busy to be monitoring if there were crowds of people in NJ celebrating publicly. That said, I don't think it happened. That's the thing with Trump. There's no reason to say "people in New Jersey" cheered. It adds nothing of value to his point. It merely insults NJ and opens him up to fact-checking, during which his point gets lost. 38 After watching numerous documentaries on the subject it would seem as though the Twin Towers were not exactly islamproof in so far as they were not designed to withstand a Boeing 767 full of jet fuel, passengers and subhuman garbage traveling at nearly full speed into them.
Actually, they did pretty well, withstood more than they were designed to, and then when they failed, they collapsed on themselves as designed. Imagine the death toll if they had fallen over onto lower Manhattan like a couple of Jenga structures. Posted by: Weirddave at November 22, 2015 06:56 PM (ETHQn) 93

If you want to cut the money out from under the jihadists, you TAKE OUT the middle east oil fields (I'm looking at you, you Saudi fucking backstabbers), in order to drive the price up enough that it's efficient for American producers to make a killing in the international oil markets.
Presently, they are at war with US shale and are pumping WAY past market demand in order to shut us down. Apparently, their aim was a bit off and they have done more against the Canadian tar sands producers than against us. Many of their governments are way, way out a limb because with the price of oil so far down, they can't afford such high living. Our oil industry will go back to full employment when the price goes up. A few oil kingdoms might get toppled if they keep up this folly. Keep pumping, Abdul. Sorry Y-Not, this is totally off topic but the BA Herald states that the losing candidate:
"Victory Front candidate Daniel Scioli, will await the final results at his bunker placed at NH Bolivar hotel, near the Plaza de Mayo square," And Macri will appear in public. My first thought was, "wow, Argentine politics are odd, bunkers?" My second thought was "ESL" My third was a flash on the bunker scene from Downfall. The Democrats would rather fight *you* than actual enemies who would kill them.
If it wasn't for the fact that you'd rather fight each other than them, it wouldn't work, either. No one is holding the MFM accountable for persistent lies, so the lies will continue, and we will lose. Unfortunately, people generally have the attention span of a five-year-old. I tried, but I am weary and without resources, and everyone else seems to want to yell at clouds and dirt rather than solve specific problems. What do you do at a time like that? The local moslems were ululating and shrieking Aloha Snackbar! in New Jersey and in certain neighborhoods in Queens, and throwing candy to each other in the streets. The local Pravda swine broadcast this -- ONCE -- then stuffed it into the Memory Hole and burned it.
Just like they "disappeared" the celebrations across the moslem world, including Palestinians, almost immediately. Just like they stopped showing any footage of the Pile, the Pit, Ground Zero, and the attacks not long after the massacres, and HAVEN'T SHOWN THAT FOOTAGE SINCE. May the Lord treat them as they deserve. See here: http://tinyurl.com/oeud2fn I remember the footage on live TV about the locals going wild with joy, but it hasn't been preserved. Nevertheless, like Trump, I SAW IT. And the Left can't erase that memory. Posted by: Beverly at November 22, 2015 07:57 PM (LpG6n) 230
Trump is not my choice. Would I vote for him if he is the nominee? Sure. Why? Every vote will be essential to combat the inevitable fraud of the left. The left know how to steal close elections. My first (and only) choice has always been Cruz, but I realize the republican party is too stupid to nominate him. I got here too late to comment on the NRA thread so here's my 2 cents worth. I have been in the American Legion for 42 years, but never attend meetings or go to the posts. I support the American Legion with my dues because they lobby for me, just like the NRA and Texas State Rifle Association. The TSRA, by the way, was the most important factor in getting the Open Carry and other Texas firearm laws passed this year. By the way, I bet there are no anti-gun idiots left on The Walking Dead, don't you?

The no-news BlahBlahmedia strikes again.
One thing about Trumps success so far has been largely unmentioned by media of all sorts and political persuasions: Trump has been getting a lot of cost-effective mileage AND success with his non-RINOsaur media consultants. Trump hasn't be sucking up to the overpriced RINOsaur consultants that have played a big role in driving the establishment GOP (RINOsaurs) into the LOSERship hole they find themselves in. Far-fetched, its been a three ring circus/nightmare this barky era, "Fire the Czars"!.. plus it might pissoff the establishment a tad.. Wouldn't Trump/Cruz make their appointments (not the establishment) and best advisors? Optimistic, Teflon Don repels both parties and a baffled media .....Make America Great Again !!
