Reports: Greek Government Says Two Terrorists Were Refugees Who Passed Through Their Asylum Centers

IS' boast that it has smuggled thousands of terrorists into Europe with the refugees seems more frightening now (though it should have been frightening as hell in September -- or before).

One bit of security that worked: one of the terrorists -- or "extremists," as CNN calls them -- was stopped at the entrance to the stadium when guards found his bomb belt.

They think he wanted to get inside to kill people with the bomb, obviously, but then to incite a stampede that would kill many, many more.

Oh and more good news: The Climate Change conference will still happen in Paris, but with increased security, obviously.

Yay! We are saved!

This is pretty funny:

Update: ISIS admits guilt. Here's their full statement.

Hillary will be on that debate stage tomorrow making her case for how she's going to help millions of Americans -- and that's exactly who's going to get her to the White House.

This campaign won't be decided by a handful of billionaires writing checks; it will be won or lost on the actions of everyday people giving whatever they can to support this campaign.

I hope she can count on you. She's working for all of us. Let's make sure she knows she has our support:

13 Stories of ISIS celebrating this attack made me realize something. If our leaders want to win the war, where are our celebrations?

Back when western civilizations won wars, the govt. would push winning stories on the public to boost morale. In 14 years of the War on Terror, the only celebratory events I can recall are the toppling of Saddam's statue and the death of OBL. Where are our heroes? Where are our victories? Bush was nearly as guilty as Obama in downplaying the war.

15 Syrian passport found near body of a Paris terrorist belonged to someone processed on the Greek island of Leros, per Greek govt

A suicide bomber took his passport with him? I don't doubt it - these arabs are pretty friggin stupid, but it just strikes me as a bit funny.

It really doesn't matter if these savages were in the Syrian wave or not. That point wouldn't change one thing. The Syrians (and those tagging along with them) have no business in the West and the West has no business letting them in - all apart and distinct from the Paris attack.

Yep. Guilt is a Western tool. This war is really:

Individualism/Guilt/Atonement versus Tribalism/Shame/Revenge

Too many Westerners make the mistake of thinking that islamic cultures are, in any way, like ours. They aren't. There is no real sense of individual guilt in islamic societies, only tribal shame.

98 My point was simply that the news media, ever in league with the leftists who wish to destroy our culture, use certain words deliberately to create linkage for the dull.

"Rightwing" in their lexicon is simply anything that is bad: Therefore, fascism and terrorism and crazed Mullahs who want to blow up the world are, of course, "rightwingers" or "ultraconservative".

It is not a coincidence that the same media love to apply that label to Christians.

I had the thought along the lines of the Federal government totally gets out of the college loan guarantee program and it will only be done by private institutions. Then make the loans so that they can be written off by bankruptcy. The immediate effect that colleges would close all of their socialist studies programs because no one could get financing to pay for it. (If the loan was basically a nonsecure loan would you loan it for a "studies program"). Of course people could pay out of their own pocket for that crap, but thats cool...its their money.

109 From The Guardian's live blog:

"Reuters reports that one of the gunmen who died after attacking the Bataclan theatre last night was a Frenchman from Courcouronnes suburb south of Paris.

Courcouronnes lies roughly 20 miles south of the French capital and five miles south of Juvisy-sur-Orge, home to Amedy Coulibaly, who was involved in the Charlie Hebdo shootings in January.

Coulibaly killed four hostages in a kosher supermarket in the Porte de Vincennes before being shot by anti-terrorism forces."

122 Gotta love the one female Muslim trying out that "No True Scotsman" argument about ISIS.

And right after the one guy asked how any one could deny that ISIS is not motivated by Islam.

Welcome to the club honey. One that you and others have beaten Christians with in the past. Now that chicken is on final approach so you better get prepared.

And not only that there are too many reporters now reporting the true acts of Islam that are also repugnant to any civilized being. Such as the death of a child because they rejected Islam, or the beating and death of woman because she was raped, or the death of anyone even suspected of being gay. (although the Muzzies are very flexible on what counts as gay and what doesn't. Go figure.)

Yeah. I've had to bear the slurs and name calling because somehow Timothy McVeigh is considered Christian. Along with Hitler and some others that have been gathered into the herd by those from outside.

But okay, fine. If that's how it works then the Muslims better be getting the same treatment.

My standing bet is that we will not see any major, large-scale, organized terror attacks by direct jihadi affiliates in the USA until after Obama leaves office.

(Small-scale amateur attacks by fellow-traveler types who are not formally part of mainline jihadi terror outfits, a la Boston or Fort Hood, may certainly happen.)

The reason why is simple: Obama and his policies have been an enormous gift to the international mujihadeen movement. Why would they want to do anything to change that or to interfere? They'll hope that Obama stays on course right on through the afternoon of Friday, January 20th, 2017.

Last week up here in MA, the news cycle had this important story:

BURLINGTON, Mass. (WHDH) -

Two people have been arrested in connection with vandalism on a Burlington mosque.

Cameron Cappella and Derrik Demone, both 18, were charged with malicious destruction of property over $250 and tagging property. They were arraigned in district court in Woburn and released without bail.

The mosque was vandalized with graffiti early Sunday morning. Graffiti reading "USA" was found spray-painted all over the Islamic Center of Burlington on Lexington Street early Sunday morning. The same mosque was targeted back in 2013 with similar vandalism.

Security video shows two masked suspects running out of a white Crown Victoria towards the mosque. Police said smashed eggs were also found around the exterior of the building.

The suspects allegedly drove up to the building and were in the area for at least 20 minutes before driving away.

"People do these these, it happens everywhere," said the mosque's President Munir Gandevia. "We notified the authorities, we'll let them do their job."

Upon leaving court, Demone apologized for the incident, saying it was a prank. He also allegedly told 7News "I'm just a kid."

Munir Gandevia, of the Islamic Center of Burlington, said he believes the charges are too light.

"I was kind of disappointed," he said.

I'll bet you were, you piece of shit terrorist.

138 From The Telegraph's live blog:

"...Matthew Holehouse, our Brussels correspondent, writes:

'Tonight's raids in Belgium took place in Molenbeek, a district on the west side of Brussels.

By a canal, and with discount clothes shops, kebab houses and trendy cafes that leave it resembling London's Whitechapel, it has become notorious as the base of a number of terrorist suspects.

It's where the sister of the botched Thalys train attacker, Ayoub El Khazzani, lived in an unregistered flat this summer. El Khazzani had stayed in Brussels before the attack.

It was also the home neighbourhood of two men who were killed in firefight with Belgian police in January, weeks after the Charlie Hebdo shooting. The pair had travelled to Syria and were suspected of running a terrorist cell preparing an attack in the Belgian town of Verviers.

Mehdi Nemmouche, a Frenchman who killed four in an attack on Brussels' Jewish Museum in 2014 and who is thought to have travelled to Syria, was also staying in the area prior to his attack.

Finally, Abdelmoumaim Haddad, who was sought by Belgian police in Spain on an international arrest warrant for terrorism charges in 2014, was also found in the district.'"

Now maybe they had a fixer, and a finder, a cook and bottle washer, a greaser, and a financier, a scout, and advance team; some logistics support, landlord, field medic, and maybe a spiritual counselor.

So let's go with twenty five. Imagine what you could do with a thousand, or two, or ten thousand.

There were three terrorists at the theater. Imagine what would have happened if there had been three good guys with guns. Three good men with guns.

Both parties will never secure the border. A Trump or Cruz MIGHT actually do it or least try to do it, but even that is far from a sure thing. A campaign trail statement and actions in office are two different things.

buzzion, you also need to up your game to catch up with the really smart "conservative" folks.

Everyone knows that chicken processing, landscaping, agriculture, and home construction did not exist prior to the post-80s mass illegal migration. Come on.

Just so you don't embarrass us and yourself, also remember that prior to Obamacare, there was no health insurance system, O-care now "is" the insurance system, and therefore you must have an alternative, a replacement, if you are going to go all extremist and repeal O-care.

That's just responsible substantive public policy. If you want the crass political take, recall that you're playing with fire dismantling a brand-new barely functioning disastrous program that has been opposed by large super-majorities of the electorate since before its passage. I mean, I want to win at the polls, don' you?

You and ThunderB seem like good people, but you will want to raise your standards a bit in respect of your political and policy outbursts.

For some reason, they are not so much pissed at Obama. Plus ISIS can walk to France. Which is why Obama is opening up refugee processing stations and flying them here.

Btw, this is exactly what's been going on in Quebec, Canada.

Quebeckers are selling their souls to try to get "French-speaking" people into the province, because the french language is dying there.

So they are importing, with little strings attached, and actually were PAYING people to come that spoke French from anywhere, and many (probably most) are Muslims.

http://www.sfgate.com/news/world/article/ High-speed-test-train-derails-in-northern-France-6632330.php#photo-8958739

"High-speed test train derails in northern France, killing 7
ECKWERSCHEIM, France (AP) — A high-speed train undergoing a test derailed, burst into flames, split apart and plunged into a canal in northeast France, killing at least seven people and gravely injuring at least 10 others in what officials said appeared to be an accident.

There were no immediate indications that Saturday's crash into the Marne au Rhin canal had anything to do with the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris a day earlier, said spokeswoman Viviane Chevallier of the Bas-Rhin region.
Authorities believe the TGV high-speed train, with 49 people on board, was going too fast and skipped off the tracks in the town of Eckwerscheim near the German border, she said.
In a statement, French President Francois Hollande's office said the train was not running on a line used by commercial trains. His office said 10 people were gravely injured. Chevallier had said earlier 11 people were severely injured."

Even back 18 years ago when traveling on the TGV I noted how easy it would be for a terrorist to put a big rock on the TGV tracks to derail a train. Even then I saw sinister Muslim immigrants just standing there watching the trains go by at top speed.

I'm quite sure that's what happened, even if it was just a "copycat" attack "in solidarity" with yesterday's attacks. Some "average" Muslims saw that the time was ripe, so casually rolled a boulder onto the track before the train arrived.....

347 260 interesting you say this, the witness I was talking about earlier (who is talking again on skynews) said that one of the terrorists was North African (don't know how he knows), and a white European.

If the Belgian media's speculation that three of the terrorists are from the jihadist hotbed of Molenbeek-Saint-Jean is correct, then those three are most likely North Africans. According to a January report regarding Belgium and terrorism, Molenbeek is home to a large number of three generations of North African immigrants.

350 Just a few rolls of razor wire will do pretty well.

It's working in Hungary. And when that's up, start on a permanent wall like the Israelis built.

And you build in depth.

Wall: razor wire: sand for foot print detection: perimeter road: more razor wire.

With posts every 5 miles or so and regular patrols.

Along with drones and heat scanners it would be trivial to prevent crossings with just a few border guards.

concentrate you're forces at the vulnerable spots and have extra layers. with a reaction force available by helo.

It's all doable with off the shelf stuff. It's the will that's been lacking. Actually it's been actively resisted because the will of the people has been pretty clear.

Time to make Muslims very uncomfortable. Don't take for granted they're harmless. Don't take for granted they're just like you. Because they aren't. Sure they're Homo Sapiens and they love their kids but their ethics and morals are vastly different than yours.

I really hate to say stuff like that but it's your main protection because Government won't protect us and they've already allowed too many here.

Their motives are suspect, and if you fail to identify them because of some guilt or feeling of PC and they kill you, you will have lived your life in vain. And they will win.

Time to take off the PC glasses and profile everyone you meet. If you have to deal with those who are suspect then be very careful.

It's too bad that the innocent must suffer but all they will suffer is some hurt feelings, if you make a mistake and trust the wrong person you might suffer much worse.

This alone will fundamentally change the US all by itself.

Either we take these steps and isolate the foreigner or we embrace the foreigner and possibly death.

That's the neighborhood I wandered into. Spooky place for white boy.

That is the neighborhood Belgian police raided earlier today. See #138 for more information about their terrorist connections. In 2006, a Moroccan-Belgian journalist who studied the neighborhood stated that "Little Morocco" was a "no-go zone". She said some of the young women she spoke with were already dreaming of becoming "jihadi brides". Search for "Belgium in Now 'Little Morocco'" on YT.

It is true now just like it was true for Vietnam. As soon as Democrats achieve political power, they undo American military victories. That is the lesson of Vietnam.

The lesson to be learned from this is that the only way for America to win a military victory in a way that the Democrats cannot undo it is to forget about minimizing collateral damage and kill everybody. Democrats have not yet learned to resurrect the dead. Or don't do anything and let events just take their course. I am getting to where I just don't care which any more.

A (for example) three-foot diameter boulder wouldn't be enough to derail a train on a curve?

I think it would be more than sufficient.

The new monorail connecting BART to the Oakland Airport was derailed in its first week of service by a loose piece of plastic sheeting blown onto the tracks by the wind.

I of course realize the the speed and mass of the TGV give them a great deal more momentum than a pooty-poot monorail, but a three-foot boulder weighing a couple tons, placed just at the start of a curve, surely could knock the wheels of a TGV off the rails.

Four or five guys could roll a boulder that big onto the tracks fairly easily.

500 Islam itself might once have been a curious denomination of Christianity, like the Tawahedo Church of the Ethiopians; but since they ditched the (real) Scriptures it has become unmoored from its own history. When Marcion suggested that Christians should do that to the Torah, the other Christians laughed him out of the Church.

Now we have a sect loose in the world rootless by design, who cannot do anything other with civilisation but live off it parasitically, if they do not simply destroy it.

Protestants and Catholics should thank God for Tertullian and Irenaeus (respectively). I wonder who was the Islamic Marcion. 'Uthman? 'Ali?

549 Don't feel guilty about giving Muslims the stink eye.

You'd keep an eye on any bears or wolverines that wandered into you're neighborhood or local store wouldn't you?

Well this is the same thing. They must be assumed to be feral and not tame because judging wrong could get you killed.

If they say anything don't be embarrassed, tell them you were just curious on which murderous sect they were a part of and how many of them are living off the American infidel.

And if they get physical then have them arrested. That's why they don't like the first amendment. We have a right to stare at people and make them feel uncomfortable and say things they don't like. Just don't make threats or curse or say things that can be considered fighting words. (no "your mom's got a moustache bigger than Hitler's but you can say that you detected a funny smell and were trying to locate it)

It's petty and it's maybe unChristian but at this point, I don't care. I'm tired of being afraid to say something in my own country about people who have declared they want me and my kind dead. And I have no idea who they are but they all belong to this one so called religious political movement who dress a certain way and act a certain way and look a certain way so that it's obvious who they are. You just don't know how serious they are about their movement.

Better to assume they're dead serious or you will BE dead.

Erk, I guess I need to write longer posts. I was just lazy.

Marcion of Sinope was a Christian theologian in that religion's very early years. He read the Torah, and various Christian writings, and decided they were incompatible. So he found a version of the gospel of Luke, some letters of Paul, and maybe Acts (not sure about that); collected them into a book; did some editing (people are still arguing over whether he deliberately distorted the texts himself or had run across genuine variants); and said - this is Teh Bible. The Torah, he went on, was *not* the Bible. Neither was the gospel of Mark (?) nor the first epistle of Peter (?!), etc.

Irenaeus - now a saint - argued against Marcion that the Gospels and (most of) the Epistles were valid (he might not have known of 2 Peter; he accepted 1 Clement - like I said, early days), and also that the Church had an apostolic authority. Tertullian - not a saint - argued for orthodox faith and the Scriptures, but disagreed with the Church hierarchy (some consider him a proto-Protestant). Either way they agreed that Marcionism was a heresy.

I suspect Islam is the what-if contrafactual of, what if Marcion had won and got to define what Christianity meant.

Now prayers are fine, but where is the anger? Where is the thirst for revenge, for blood? This is what is missing and this is something I first noticed in the aftermath of 9-11 when the focus became the folks who died in the attack. Yes, their deaths were each tragic and horrifying, but they--as individuals--were not the target. We were--the US, Western Civilization, Christendom--if you will. If we make it about the innocent people who died-- without also emphasizing that our way of life, our freedom and our culture were the real targets--it just becomes an endless parade of grief and schmaltz on display.

Yes ,prayers for the dead and their loved ones
Revenge without pity for the rest of us...

555 When Truman proposed relocating hundreds of thousands of inner-city unemployed poor people into a new concept called "government housing projects," as a way of eliminating slums, critics noted that a "slum" was not simply a collection of decrepit buildings; a "slum" is caused by and wholly contained within the people who dwell therein.

The uncharitable slogan at the time was something like "You can't run away from the slum; you ARE the slum." There was an even less PC slogan too, unprintable here needless to say.

Truman ignored the critics and in 1949 launched the program, and hundreds of gleaming new apartment-block complexes were built in big cities all over the country, with "all mod cons" and parks and flowers!

An End to Slums was declared, as hundreds of thousands of ghetto-dwellers were moved, for free, out of their decrepit tenements into the gleaming new Villages of the Future.

We all know how the story ends. The critics proved 100% correct: within just a few short years the residents themselves managed to "convert" their free utopias into crime-ridden slums that were even worse than the ones they had been evacuated from earlier. Ten years later, the very phrase "the projects" was just another euphemism for "ghetto."

The problem, exactly as the critics noted, was not the buildings, but the people in the buildings.

This exact process is now being repeated on a grand scale in Europe and the Middle East.

There is nothing geographically about the Middle East that dictates it must be a hellhole. It is only a hellhole because the people who live there have MADE it into a hellhole.

Now that they've thoroughly ruined their native lands, they want to flee to a gleaming new continent with all mods cons and free utopian housing for everyone!

Except there's one big problem: These people are bringing the "slum" with them.

No mater how nicely the Europeans welcome them, no matter how much free stuff they give them, the new immigrants from the Middle East will convert their new homeland into a copycat hellhole just as bad as the one they left behind.

They may not even do this intentionally; it's just that their culture, their social organizational schema, dictates that it must always be so.

Actually, I would make it the red state of my choice and I would choose to send them to Chicago and drop them off in the middle of The Loop at lunchtime as a kind of "Thank You" present for Obama. They may send her home tomorrow & then it's 42 days of both chemo & radiation.

doing good-I had a benign biopsy report yesterday, so I am grateful. (prayers for your friend Carol, I am so so sorry.)

daughter is doing awesome- her history professor asked her to minor in history, as she is doing really well. Since she is double majoring in chemistry and microbiology, with a minor in engineering, she gracefully declined. She has a research gig with the Navy, determining the effects of the Gulf Oil spill in deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico-strangely, there are fewer ill effects than they anticipated, and some beneficial microflora are flourishing. So, that will be funded for a while. She even wrote her own grant, and it looks promising!! Needless to say, I could bust from pride. Especially given everything she has gone through to get to this point. Which makes me want to slap each and every one of the whiners at the other colleges who want a free ride and easy classes.

Cocaine Cowboys I & II are excellent documentaries on the drug plague in Florida back in the day. I'm sure you can watch it for free on the internet. They killed with impunity b/c they had so much money. Now a days,it's harder to get the drugs into the country in large amounts. But back then....

One of their biggest problems was having too much money and not knowing what they could do with it.

And the women -- yes, they ran cartels, too, and were just as amoral and murderous as the men.

It does not surprise me that the gulf oil spill didn't hurt anything in the deep sea. Fossil oil is, by definition, organic material; one would think that bacteria and some planktons would break that stuff down. When it washes ashore and pelicans and fish dive deep to get at oysters and clams, that's where crude oil does its damage.

The best I can do is a one or two sentence prayer like "Please God, heal Carol's friend, Gayle. Give her comfort and the strength to persevere."

That's still a prayer. For some you who have the same difficulty as me, try to start there. I find myself praying a lot more now that I have removed impossible to meet standards

632 602, the look and style of Miami Vice was lifted directly from the montage in the film Scarface where they kept going to the bank to deliver cash in ever larger amounts while that Michael Sembello song "Maniac" was playing. 644 SCENE: Interior, nondescript clinic exam room, patient in paper gown, doctor in starched white coat

Doctor: We've got all your test results back.

Patient: So what is it, Doc?

Doctor: Well, it seems that there is a radical group of deranged cells that have gotten into your bloodstream.

Patient: How far has it spread?

Doctor: Well, there seem to be substantial collections of these diseased cells in all the major organs of your body.

Patient: What can you do about it?

Doctor: Well, we have to spread them out so the effect isn't concentrated in a single area, We're going to transport them to

organs that haven't been affected yet.

Patient: Can it be eliminated?

Doctor: Well, our current treatment strategy has them on the run. This isn't a top tier disease, it's more like the JV team of diseases.

Patient: So this is cancer, right?

Doctor: Well, we don't call it cancer, because that might offend pre-cancerous cells. We call it Interstitial Somatic Invasion

Syndrome, also known as... well you can do the acronym yourself.

Patient: Can we at least use some potent chemotherapy to combat it?

Doctor: No, that might damage some of the healthy tissue, can't risk that.

Patient: What about radiation (IYKWIMAITYD)

Doctor: Now that would just be mean to the diseased tissue.

Patient: So what's the prognosis?

Doctor: You're gonna die. The good news though is that we've lined up James Taylor to sing at your funeral.

Patient (weakly): Yay!

647 562 These "investigations" are a joke. They pretend like this is just a tiny group of radicals. They are ALL no good.

In January, the Belgians foiled a major plot by a small cell (thirteen members, perhaps more) in Molenbeek. The police found Kalashnikovs, police uniforms, a GoPro camera, and chemicals to make TATP (triacetone triperoxide). If jihadists are well-trained and well-armed, they do not need many members to carry-out an attack. Obviously all jihadists are evil and dangerous but the fact that a small number of them can terrorize a major city is not good.

Your suggestion is a god one. Prayers don't have to be long. It;s the thought behind it that counts. You're lifting someone up to God's grace, healing, help and peace. You might like a book called "The Practice of the Presence of God" by someone named Brother Lawrence who was a lay brother and who lived in the 17th century in France. He had a habit of doing these short prayers throughout the day. I found it be a very wonderful and helpful book.

675 My twitter feed is full of people insisting IS isn't Muslim which is just the height of arrogance. How dare anyone say what is in the hearts and faith of someone else? Who are you to declare someone to not be Muslim, or Baptist or anything else? These guys are acting completely in consistency with their faith, depending on the sect you ask. Arrogant, condescending scumbag.

682 Leftists just think they get to define everyone else and no one should question their stupid mumblings.

That's why they say ISIS isn't Muslim, even though they're all Muslims, they state their goals in terms of Islam, and their name is Islamic State.

It's also why they say Clarence Thomas isn't really black, and Carly Fiorina isn't really a woman.

Basically, they're a bunch of fruit loops who would be ignored if there weren't so many of them.

683 635-yep, same girl. Five years ago, she was sick, and barely able to function. She just texted me to say that she's finished with her O-chem study group, is grabbing a bite to eat and then off to her campus job with Events ProductionL, doing audio/visual tech work. This is in addition to the research. Because she wants to pay for half of her education herself.

It makes me livid that illegals get all kinds of grants and federal aid, and she can't get a dime, but at the same time, I am so proud she is doing this on her own, with just some help from her dad and me. But that is a story that is very common amongst the Morons. These people tend to raise their kids right.

So I say again: What's the happy ending here? Because if M Hollande isn't prepared to end mass Muslim immigration to France and Europe, then his "pitiless war" isn't serious. And, if they're still willing to tolerate Mutti Merkel's mad plan to reverse Germany's demographic death spiral through fast-track Islamization, then Europeans aren't serious. In the end, the decadence of Merkel, Hollande, Cameron and the rest of the fin de civilisation western leadership will cost you your world and everything you love.

She cut herself off in mid "terrorist" and called them "warriors."

-------------------

Amanpour is a muslim, because her father is, unless she took an affirmative position to be an apostate, that is how that culture works.

In western culture the "warriors" protect the civilians on the defensive and attack the enemy's "warriors" when on the offense.
If THAT culture the "warriors" blend into the civilians on the defensive and attack the enemy's civilians when on the offensive.

I may be wrong, but I think it is that complicated.

Because 10-20% of the dead will be 'civilians' and modern politicians who quaver at one dead kid in the Mediterranean can't stomach that.

But you don't win wars until you're prepared to kill the people who feed, clothe, and finance your enemies.

720 Said by a nutter way up thread:
"...these terrorists really are right wing."
No. An Islamist in an Islamic country upholding the institutions of an Islamist state would be right wing. An Islamist attacking the institutions of a free country (sporting event, pub, death metal concert) in a free country, would be a reformer of said free country - by trying to move it to a non-free state, slave state, sharia state, and by definition said reformer is left wing.
Left wing / right wing terminology is fungiable and only anchored by whether one is conserving or changing. American leftists and Islamic terrorists acting in American both want power over a slave state.
