I think the one who weren't sexually abused have been mentally abued by the professors who indoctrinated them.

Yes, I think there's a lot of that in the mix too. Alternative religions, alternative genders, alternative lifestyles. It's like they're lost, and don't want to be found. I wonder what they would say if they were asked "Are you a happy person?". My gut tells me most of them are not. In related top down, bottom up inside out change, I recently was at a meeting with some EMC officials about some upcoming projects in their area. These people know all about the power industry and the govt regulatory regime they live under. and, while certainly not liberals they are not hard core conservatives. They are 100% sure the intention of Obama and the progs is to absolutely shut down the coal industry, come hell or high water. They new standards cannot be met by any existing or foreseeable technology. Look forward to electric rates gong up by 500% in the next 10 years.

Three different ones, in fact, all separately.
I can say in all honesty that none were "bad people," BUT...
- Two of them were quite obviously insane. Like, they had other sever mental problems even aside from being transsexuals. The other one was pretty normal mental-wise, as far as I could tell, but was monomaniacally obsessed with the topic of transsexualism and was impossible to have any kind of conversation with that was about that one and only topic.
- Of the two who "transitioned" (i.e. had surgery), one seriously, majorly regretted it, and went even further insane as a result.
- Two of the three had an additional extreme sexual perversion, specifically masochism, and craved being tortured and abused. They engaged in the standard socially-approved semi-pretend torture only because they had no way of finding a real actual sadist to actually torture them. But I'm quite sure that given the chance, they would volunteer to be actually enslaved and actually tortured for life by actual sadistic maniacs.
- All were, to be blunt, intensely ugly.

You give 3 anectodal examples. I admit I've never met one, but there is actually a taxonomy to this, a very simple, binary one.
There are HTs and ATs.
HT's are homosexual transexuals. These are gay men who feel guilty over their attractions, and they think that if they get a sex change and seduce a heterosexual man, this will somehow "prove" they are really women.
The characteristics of this type is that they transition early (teens to early 20s) and because of this, they are generally more convincing than ATs and are attracted to men (ex. Estelle Asmodelle)
AT's (autogynephilic transsexuals) are aroused by the *thought* of being women. This is a case of ETLE (erotic target location error). Instead of being attracted to a member of the opposite sex, they are attracted to the idea of themselves as belonging to the opposite sex. As opposed to HTs, these tend to transition later in life (30's 40's 50's), are generally unconvincing, and are attracted to women and usually have fathered children before transitioning.

That's quite fascinating. I work in the game industry where there have been several famous examples (always M-to-F, but I gather F-to-M transsexuals as a whole are rare) starting in the mid-80s. One went insane afterwards and committed suicide, whlie another one went insane afterwards, got a good shrink, and became a big advocate for a "cooling off period" on chopping your dick off. (And is frequently called "transphobic" for their troubles). Both of them were ATs by your classification; in their 20s, no long-term relationships, no kids.
More recently a 50-something programmer with a wife and 3 kids abruptly became a super girly-girl lesbian woman, which sounds like a textbook HT. I understand the wife was devastated and won't speak to hir now but the kids got Bonus Diversity Points from their universities and think it's the best thing ever.

This is greatly exaggerated by a culture that tries to reward and treat everyone exactly equally regardless of personal ability or failure. Its impossible to stand out. What are you going to do, get a tat like dad or that piercing in your face like mom? Dye your hair a weird color like Aunt Thrashrr? Listen to loud music like your uncles do at the poker game? How do you stand on your own in a world that has normalized rebellion and is filled with adults who never grew up, not them?

I think its a mistake to conflate biology with morality. IE, people don't get to choose their sexual preferences.
At the same time (and I think this is what you're getting at), its also probably wrong to think or act like there is no such thing as human sexual pathology.
IE, if your sexual preference is to be screwed by horses, you've got a problem. If you feel a compulsion to have your genitals mutilated, you also have a problem, and trying to rationalize it with some theoretical academic defense of "gender construct" isn't an answer.

This is really extraordinary. The Beltway is literally doubling down on their brazen disregard for popular sentiment, and the House is formally writing themselves out of the constitution for a few years, in a way even our dimmest Beltway GOP apologists might understand. (what could go - further - wrong with a lame-duck rogue freak extremist president and the essential disappearance of congressional influence?)
Doesn't matter if it's passed or not. The very fact that the Beltway can openly try something like this signals something very alarming, though what exactly that is isn't clear. Either they have concluded that, 2010/2014/TrumpCarson notwithstanding, they can literally do anything they want without consequences, or something else I can't come up with right now.

From what I understand there is sort of an "apprenticeship" model if you want to get into the SF gay "leather" scene. Some older person has to take you under their wing and break you in (sorry. . .), then you can become part of the "club". Everyone knows each other, and reputation acts as internal policing.
My guess is that if you're in the right geographic location (probably outside a major metro area) there are probably the equivalent of swinger "clubs" that practice this sort of thing.
