20 Hillary will be the next president. The only thing that will stop her is a major health issue, like a stroke. But they may cover for her even then, so they can get Bill back in.

Those of you who say Hillary's not-so-inevitable...with all due respect, people were saying "There's no way Obama could be reelected" just three years ago.

They were saying "these videos will destroy Planned Parenthood" over the summer.

They were saying "No way everyone walks from the IRS scandal."

Hillary will be president in 2016. There isn't any way to stop it. The Media loves her way too much.

We were talking last week about the way politics has become so terribly harsh and flush with spades of untruths and tricks full of misrepresentations. The more we talked it became clear to me that the Republican party had moved just too far to the extreme right. My dear friend and bridge partner Marsha said it was time for a woman President and what she said rang true to me and the other girls.

It is time. And the fact that Hillary had a good 10 days, rebuffing assaults from the media and Congress and the internet, convinced me that she deserved my support and I will support her. I think she is indeed , the best option for the future of the country after a week or even 10 days of harshness. This blog is dreadful sometimes. Totes.

113 "Hell, Angrya Mitchell has practically been offering herself as a lesbianic love-toy to 'Madame Secretary.'"

The Embarrassing Lezbo Schoolgirl Crush On Canquelles award, Journalism Division, has already been won by Monica Langley of the WSJ.

She's the one who in an interview was steadily sliding her chair up closer and closer to Clinton's chair till they were in contact, resting her hand on Clinton's knee, cooing "Oh, Hillary," in response to answers, and asking if she could "ride on your lap to the White House?"

Some of the leaked Clintonworld e-mails show that even Clinton's staff found it weird and embarrassing to watch, which REALLY says something, being able to shame some of the most shameless people on the planet.

It also tells you something about the "rigorous journalistic standards" at Rupert Murdoch's overhauled version of the venerable WSJ, that someone like Langley is conducting interviews of prospective Presidents.

Roop would be quite happy to have President Jeb, or to have President Hillary. He knows that either one would return his phone calls promptly and that neither would ask any inconvenient questions about the tax strategies used throughout the Fox media empire.

I was inoculated against leftism at a young age.

My dad is a Jewish leftard. I recall driving to the doctore with him, as a child, and passing a white cop who had pulled over a black guy. My father was like, "That's shameful! That's racist!"

I didn't say anything, but I was thinking, "We didn't see what the guy did before being pulled over. How did you know it was racist?"

Then a black kid mocked me because I had a black birthmark. A black/hispanic girl stood up for me by saying, "Yeah, well you got a black mark all over your body!"

I told my father how this wonderful girl stood up to this asshole. But his only response was, "What she said was racist!".

I had some dim notion at this point that my father was a failure. His duty was to look out for his family, but that he had betrayed them. He'd rather see them come to harm to defend his idiotic fantasies.

I'd question my conservatism if it were merely because I was traumatised by a bad experience with a libtard, but I've tried to reason with several libtards, including my sister, and since they haven't given me an objective reason why I am wrong, I'm still conservative.

That is very near sighted and material. I think for a Christian, a more mature stance is expressed in Hebrews 11:1,2 - "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the substance of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval."

And in Heb 11:13 - "All these died in the faith without receiving the promises, but having seen them and welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth."

Hillary... maybe there's some minority segment, aging second-wave feminists perhaps, that feels like she's their heart's champion. But for most of the party, they're just making a cold calculated decision that Hillary and Bill have now purchased enough political capital to receive the White House back as payment. I doubt Hillary will ever work so hard to advance their goals as she will to advance her own wealth and power, but they don't really need her to since as somebody else pointed out today, the "deep State" machine basically runs on autopilot now so long as nobody tosses a wrench in the gears.

The lady asked if I wanted to donate to put a pink ribbon on the wall with my name, and I couldn't bear to create any more pink -- I gave her a buck to stick in the donation envelope, with a request NOT to add any more god damned pink to that post office.

189 That might have been true twenty years ago, but I'm about ready to dust off my shoes and walk away.

What we're going through now is frustrating but its nothing compared to what the early Christians went through and what the world faced in 1941. Nobody is lighting us on fire to illuminate Christians being mauled and killed by lions. Nobody is marching people into gas chambers. Its bad now but its nothing like the horrors and terror of past ages.

God told us straight up, without any softening up that life was going to be hard, that evil would never give up, that bad guys would seem to win on this earth and that people would hate His children just like they hated Jesus. He guaranteed it.

The thing it comes down to is this: do I trust the creator of the universe or not? If not, who can I trust?

Assuming you are talking the Christian faith here, and from the context of the conversation that you are fed up that God is allowing what you perceive to be an injustice to occur... That would be a wise course of action if you perceive that your faith promised you a life of earthly blessing and a paradigm of "sew good things / reap good things." That paradigm has only ever been only partly true in Western civilization. It is not true anywhere else in the History of Civilization. And a gospel that is only true in the right circumstances (politically or culturally) is not a true gospel. Therefore, see above to my comment at 151.

216 I've always been fascinated by the movie industry. Especially screenwriting.

Wasn't it amazing that back during the Bush administration, the creative people in Hollywood didn't hesitate to make a movie about the assassination of GW Bush? The freedom to film fantasies is a wonderful thing.

With our contacts in the movie world (the hope that Nick Searcy reads the comments), I would like to propose a screenplay. It would be a play on the "Punisher" character, only this time the guy is someone frustrated with the breakdown of law and order in government.

This guy watches as a high IRS official walks away from any charges after smugly refusing to testify in front of congress. Then he sees corruption and perjury ignored or even applauded by the press.

Naturally, he goes rogue and starts to take matters in his own hands. He deals with a couple of government officials, but his real breakthrough comes when he uses his unique skills on a prominent media figure who tried to sell a particularly egregious lie.

Other media people, wondering if they would meet the fate, started to be more truthful.

I like happy endings.

Anybody think this would sell?

You'll move on from your faith, or move on from your political activism? Because while I am still pretty tuned in to my political activism, I stopped being nearly so concerned about it when I realized that God did not put me on Earth to create more political conservatives. He put each of us here to be and create little Christs. He promised that Christians would suffer and die..."If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you..." - Jesus. Honestly, a point of confusion for me in my faith has been that my life has been relatively free of persecution, and I have had trouble reconciling my reality with the promises of God, that in this life we get suffering and the blessing is in the next life. I find the idea of walking away from my faith at the moment the reality on the ground begins to conform to it to be a confusing propisition.

OF COURSE every single political meme is coordinated by Marxist "thought leaders" and promulgated by useful idiots throughout the MSM-sphere.

OF COURSE it is all coordinated, scripted, managed by some as-yet-unexposed version of JournOlist. And even if it wasn't explicitly coordinated, it is organically self-organized by the leftist Hive Mind.

Are we not merely "giving their narrative oxygen" by constantly whining about it?

Maybe we should take a page out of George Lakoff's handbook and starve the narrative by refusing to even acknowledge it nor repeat it in public (even if to mock it).

The goal is to "ghetto-ize" the MSM into an irrelevant sideshow which attempts at narrative-shaping endlessly fail to affect the actual voters.

Let 'em wail and flail to no avail.

Instead, relentlessly push a counter-narrative -- the true counter-narrative -- without any concession to the existence of the "prevailing" narrative -- so consistently that OUR narrative BECOMES the prevailing narrative.

267 261 I don't know why people keep watching and linking to MSNBC though. Seriously, I think this blog gets more readers per day than that channel gets viewers. In fact I'm certain it does.

If it weren't for right wing pundits and family members of cast and crew, MSNBC wouldn't have any ratings at all. Its so frustrating, its like Andrew Sullivan, who only was noticed because people kept outraging at his stupid outragey crap. Drudge kept that demented queen on his front page feed for years, despite being a worthless piece of trash.

Ignore these people. They would have virtually no audience without your help and constant publicity.

That makes a lot more sense. I have, in a sense, already walked away in that I now recognize that people are actively rejecting God. I think actual incidents of people who are earnestly searching but lost anyway are very far and few between. I have not walked away in that I feel very strongly the call to Evangelism, but not the call for political activism or trying to save this increasingly corrupt system. If I am to exhaust my credibility trying to persuade an ideological opponent of something, it will be for the thing that actually matters - the salvation of his soul - and not for a thing that does not matter - his stance on political matters. If I am correct, the Holy Spirit will convict him from within of the rightness of his other beliefs, and he will be persuaded politically from within. If I am incorrect, it will make no difference anyway.
