Levin had a preview clip from Friday where Steve Kroft actually called into question his disastrous foreign policy in Syria and SCOAMF actually sounded like he was livid. Kept trying to cut him off and interject. And his response was delusional; claimed his foreign policy is a complete success.

That's probably exactly what he believes. Obama spends his days surrounded by toe-sucking sycophants like Valerie Jarrett, whispering in his ear how incredibly brilliant and awesome he is. Then he and his loathsome wife go out and do their typical "media" appearances on lefty shows like "The View" or Letterman or whatever other leftist is currently hosting those late-night shows. There they are wildly applauded just for showing up, and the hosts drool and nod their heads like bobble-head dolls in agreement with whatever inanities come out of either Obama's mouths.

So of course Obama thinks he's a brilliant success at whatever he does; it is all he ever hears.

The various museums -- automotive, air 'n' space, etc. -- and the gardens at Balboa Park are touristy, but the best thing to see in 'Dago. Otherwise, AFAIC, the place is a dungheap, and you might as well go down to TJ for the day. Same difference.

I know lots o' people tout SD as a wonderful city, and climate-wise it is. As for the rest, you might as well be in Minneapolis. Or Los Angeles.

Yeah, I went there a few times when I lived up in LA and, aside from the beautiful beach at La Jolla, was not impressed. And when I went to the zoo, it was either being renovated or something was going on because I saw almost no animals at all. I did like Balboa Park and the model railroad club.

Exactly. My understanding is that the support staff for each state's Reps and Senators is the same no matter what party the current office holder is. This "provides stability". Problem is, if we send someone from a different party it means we want a diffetent result from the last one (aka bureaucratic definition of *instability*).

If you've spent any time in grad school or law school during the past couple of decades, you will have been exposed to this article of faith among lefty legal scholars (who are, BTW, 90% of all regularly published legal scholars): modern U.S. prisons are the new "plantation" system. The racist white establishment in the U.S. uses prisons to keep blacks under control. That is why there is a disproportionately high number of blacks in prison. It has nothing to do with the fact that blacks commit a disproportionately high number of crimes; no, the criminal justice system has been deliberately set up (by whites) to trap blacks into "criminal" behavior, so that whites can then arrest and imprison them -- like slaves.

Obama, who has been steeped his entire life in the excrement that passes for "critical" thinking in academia, has already started releasing federal drug prisoners (drugs are another way that whites conspire to keep blacks enslaved); there will be a lot more federal prisoners released and/or pardoned before Obama leaves office, and the vast majority of them will be black.

In a nice touch of egalitarianism, management has descended from the top floor to join the huddled masses. Much the same way the U.S. media refuses to report on illegal alien crime here in the U.S. Can't rile up all those xenophobic bitter clingers. That will just make Trump's numbers rise even higher! Got to keep those fly-over dupes in the dark, lest their nativist impulses get out of control.

That's why the MSM here won't report that 40% of the people convicted of murder in Florida last year are illegal aliens -- even though illegal aliens are less than 10% of Florida's total population.

Ever notice how illegal alien criminals are described in the reports of high-profile crimes here? "A Connecticut man was arrested in a brutal rape and murder . . . ." You have to go to the foreign press to see the booking photo of the "Connecticut man" who more often than not is a Mexican or Salvadoran illegal alien.

It's the same thing in Europe now. The German media is describing Muslim migrant rapists as "southerners," rather than as "foreign Muslims" or "Muslim invaders" or some more accurate term. "Local German girl was savagely raped and beaten by a group of suspects from the south . . . ."

Just read an article this morning that 1/3-1/2 of all rapes in Denmark are now committed by non-Danish suspects. Gee, I wonder who could be doing all that raping in Denmark? Such a mystery . . . .

83 I have enjoyed not watching any television news programs. Not a one since this past August or so. The weather channel once in a while is watchable since they fired several creepy people. I tried watching BBC news but it was even dumber than CNN. So no broadcast/cable news is good broadcast/cable news. I do read the NY Times occasionally plus the WSJ because one of my sons has free subscriptions (I have the logins which is ok with the employer) for both from his work. One problem: there is a 5-year statute of limitations on most federal crimes, and the statute is not tolled because the prosecutor decided he or she would have a better chance of success under a different president.

Most of Lerner's crimes were committed before the 2012 election (she was trying to intimidate conservative groups to help ensure Obama's re-election). Yes, I was thinking about that this weekend when I was reading how California has just passed some new state "motor voter" laws, to make it easier for illegal aliens to vote there.
