That's probably exactly what he believes. Obama spends his days surrounded by toe-sucking sycophants like Valerie Jarrett, whispering in his ear how incredibly brilliant and awesome he is. Then he and his loathsome wife go out and do their typical "media" appearances on lefty shows like "The View" or Letterman or whatever other leftist is currently hosting those late-night shows. There they are wildly applauded just for showing up, and the hosts drool and nod their heads like bobble-head dolls in agreement with whatever inanities come out of either Obama's mouths.

So of course Obama thinks he's a brilliant success at whatever he does; it is all he ever hears.

Exactly. My understanding is that the support staff for each state's Reps and Senators is the same no matter what party the current office holder is. This "provides stability". Problem is, if we send someone from a different party it means we want a diffetent result from the last one (aka bureaucratic definition of *instability*).

_______________________

If you've spent any time in grad school or law school during the past couple of decades, you will have been exposed to this article of faith among lefty legal scholars (who are, BTW, 90% of all regularly published legal scholars): modern U.S. prisons are the new "plantation" system. The racist white establishment in the U.S. uses prisons to keep blacks under control. That is why there is a disproportionately high number of blacks in prison. It has nothing to do with the fact that blacks commit a disproportionately high number of crimes; no, the criminal justice system has been deliberately set up (by whites) to trap blacks into "criminal" behavior, so that whites can then arrest and imprison them -- like slaves.

Obama, who has been steeped his entire life in the excrement that passes for "critical" thinking in academia, has already started releasing federal drug prisoners (drugs are another way that whites conspire to keep blacks enslaved); there will be a lot more federal prisoners released and/or pardoned before Obama leaves office, and the vast majority of them will be black.

Much the same way the U.S. media refuses to report on illegal alien crime here in the U.S. Can't rile up all those xenophobic bitter clingers. That will just make Trump's numbers rise even higher! Got to keep those fly-over dupes in the dark, lest their nativist impulses get out of control.

That's why the MSM here won't report that 40% of the people convicted of murder in Florida last year are illegal aliens -- even though illegal aliens are less than 10% of Florida's total population.

Ever notice how illegal alien criminals are described in the reports of high-profile crimes here? "A Connecticut man was arrested in a brutal rape and murder . . . ." You have to go to the foreign press to see the booking photo of the "Connecticut man" who more often than not is a Mexican or Salvadoran illegal alien.

It's the same thing in Europe now. The German media is describing Muslim migrant rapists as "southerners," rather than as "foreign Muslims" or "Muslim invaders" or some more accurate term. "Local German girl was savagely raped and beaten by a group of suspects from the south . . . ."

Just read an article this morning that 1/3-1/2 of all rapes in Denmark are now committed by non-Danish suspects. Gee, I wonder who could be doing all that raping in Denmark? Such a mystery . . . .

I tried watching BBC news but it was even dumber than CNN. So no broadcast/cable news is good broadcast/cable news. I do read the NY Times occasionally plus the WSJ because one of my sons has free subscriptions (I have the logins which is ok with the employer) for both from his work. Those news sources too are crap. Instead of journalism or news I think it should be just short-handed to crap. Did you see the crap last night on Fox or the NYT's crap this morning for example. Just stop pretending and call it what it is.

All cultures are equal and deserve respect (except for evil white Americans' culture, of course). So the rape culture of Islam must be respected too. But we can't call it rape culture, since that has a bad connotation, so we'll just say "they do things differently in other cultures," or "we must respect the fact that they have different values," or some such, and leave it at that (wink, wink).

And this kind of thing is where the Left has lifted off from the terra firma of sanity and taken aloft on the winds of fantasy.

In their little bullshit wonderland, using reason is a sin. They call it being judgmental, but that's what it boils down to. You're not allowed to make a value judgment about anything. Because fairness. Because reasons.

To the Leftist, they believe that there is no objective truth where human events and causes are concerned. The problem with that mentality is that if you reject truth, nothing can be held to be any better or worse than anything else. All of life is random, and communism will work somewhere eventually. The fact that their shit never works means that everything that does is cheating. And now you're probably starting to see it. If it's based in reason, it works and it works consistently, therefore it's to be shunned and torn down. Their one little bullshit belief - that there is no objective truth - means that they end up rejecting everything rational and can embrace only emotion, fantasy, and outright bullshit.

One problem: there is a 5-year statute of limitations on most federal crimes, and the statute is not tolled because the prosecutor decided he or she would have a better chance of success under a different president.

Most of Lerner's crimes were committed before the 2012 election (she was trying to intimidate conservative groups to help ensure Obama's re-election). Waiting until 2017 will put her well beyond the reach of the law, no matter who is president (and her lawyers know this, which is why they are, and have been, engaged in stalling tactics for several years now). They are very near the end of the S/L period, when Lois will be in the clear, forever more.

It's basically an error that leads to psychosis. The more life refuses to be fair, the more toxic they get, until they believe that everything is a conspiracy designed to keep their utopia from spontaneously emerging. All they have to do, in their little deranged minds, is just take a hammer and gleefully smash apart everything that makes society work... then it'll all be rainbows and unicorn farts. Yes, I was thinking about that this weekend when I was reading how California has just passed some new state "motor voter" laws, to make it easier for illegal aliens to vote there.

"Progressives" have been ignoring and blatantly violating voting laws for years now. They've also been openly violating (and actively encouraging the violation of) immigration laws and many other existing laws. So what happens when the "progressives" finally get the utopian, open-borders society they want? They think they're then going to pass laws that the rest of us will follow? Why should we? For decades they have openly violated numerous existing laws, and told us to go f*ck ourselves when we objected. When you destroy the rule of law, you don't just destroy it for the other side; you destroy it for everybody, now and for generations into the future. That's what these idiot progressives can't or won't understand.

But they're not thinkers, they're addicts. And what they're addicted to is the Pharisee levels of unearned pride that they get for their "tolerance" and "open-minded" nature. This enables them to look down their noses at everyone more successful than them - which is usually everybody.

All the while Obama is insisting that merely demonstrates Putin's weakness and lack of self confidence. Jim Thorpe All American is a 1951 biographical film produced by Warner Bros. and directed by Michael Curtiz, honoring Jim Thorpe, the great Native American athlete who won medals at the 1912 Olympics and distinguished himself in various sports, both in college and on professional teams.

The film starred Burt Lancaster as Thorpe and featured some archival footage of both the 1912 and 1932 Summer Olympics, as well as other footage of the real Thorpe (seen in long shots).

Some group should do a commercial that rebuts Amy Schumer's SNL skits.

They could show a family, cowering in the corner of the parents' bedroom late at night, w/ the desperate dad on the phone with a 911 operator, while they're all watching a monitor showing 3 armed home invaders breaking into their house. The dad is begging the 911 operator to send help quickly, and she's telling him that she has dispatched units and there is one nearby -- just 10 or so minutes away. The father shrieks "10 minutes? We don't have 10 minutes!" The 911 operator suggests that they find somewhere to hide. They see on the monitor that one of the armed invaders is just outside their bedroom door. The dad says "there is no place to hide!" Then the 911 operator says: "Hey, I have an idea! Call Amy Schumer! She's so smart! She'll know what to do!" Then the invader kicks in the door and blows the entire family away as they cower in the corner.

221 Effecively forced to watch Preezy McSmartypower on the TV facing our table at at roadside diner, coming back from the weekend. At this point I can only think of him as a dedicated double agent for The Cause.

His life consists of actions all having in direct object the replacment of American civilization as we know it, by international-socialist norms.

To make his "transformation" permanent, his highest object is to permanently shift the majority to the non-native born and non-European peoples who are, and will likely remain, ignorant of American ideals, and culturally attuned to the new socialist norms he seeks to impose.

Much in this direction has already been done, in the waves and wavelets of illegal immigration from the south (and corresponding shut down of enforcement) he has overseen. In fact, many of the interactions that would have forced either "self-deportation" or at least made illegal status more difficult to sustain has now been made illegal, e.g. asking a prospective employee about their legal status (now grounds for civil rights suit against you).

All the while he lays torches to the foundation of our country, he couches every action by varying, "acceptable" rationales: as thought he is only furthering a slightly different and historically legitimate version of "America"
