Obama Deports The Fewest Number of People in Almost Ten Years;
Hillary Clinton: Obama's Deportation Policies Too Harsh
The pace of deportations has slowed.
he Obama administration deported the fewest number of immigrants in the past 12 months since 2006, according to new government figures obtained by The Associated Press.Now comes Hillary-- who likes to style herself as a sort of moderate -- to say that Obama's ten year low in criminal immigrant deportations is just too many.
The figures also show that deportations of criminal immigrants have dropped to the lowest numbers since President Barack Obama took office in 2009, despite his pledge to focus on finding and deporting criminals living in the country illegally.
Hillary Clinton distanced herself from President Barack Obama's immigration policies in an interview with the Spanish-language network Telemundo, accusing the White House of breaking up families through an aggressive deportation policy. Her comments echoed long-running complaints of the immigration advocacy community that Mr. Obama's immigration policy has been overly harsh. But they stand in contrast to comments Mrs. Clinton made in June 2014 defending the Obama policy, where she said the president was doing all he could within the law to keep families together. They also appeared to ignore changes in deportation policy that Mr. Obama ordered in late 2014. Speaking to Telemundo, the Democratic presidential candidate criticized Mr. Obama's policy but said his approach was part of a strategy aimed at winning over Republicans to support immigration legislation legalizing people in the U.S. illegally. "The deportation laws were interpreted and enforced, you know, very aggressively during the last six and a half years, which I think his administration did in part to try to get Republicans to support comprehensive immigration reform," she said. "That strategy is no longer workable. So therefore I think we have to go back to being a much less harsh and aggressive enforcer."And she says she'll do this via, wait for it, executive action. And, by the way, the number of non-English speaking persons in America just hit an all-time high of 63.2 million.

I sense we're back in the game but I'm getting the feeling that the best we can hope for is let it burn.

I sense we're back in the game but I'm getting the feeling that the best we can hope for is let it burn.
Cause it seems they're going to get invaders here no matter what we do.
So we might be best served by preparing for a break down in social services and the accompanying scarcity or resources and the riots cause by them.
We don't seem to making any headway. We won't believe that Trump will stop it, and we're pretty sure none of the others will either. (given what they've said).
At this point we're unsure of how the final act will unfold.

If the Democrats kept winning election after election by huge margins, then yes, I would say it's over and time to just sit back and watch it burn. Instead, Republicans have some of the highest margins in elected office in around 100 years despite our crappy leadership.
Obama won the 2012 election by pretty close to the same margin as Bush beat Kerry in 2004. Did anyone really think Democrats would never win another election after that loss in 2004? For some reason when Obama won reelection, you would have thought it was Reagan winning 49 states but when Bush won, it's a nail biter.

They really don't, if the borders were actually open people coming here could work legally and they wouldn't have to get paid under the table, and if they don't have to get paid under the table they can demand the same wages as Americans and the Chamber of Commerce et al doesn't want that, so the politicians they own don't want it either. What both parties want is the pretend border we have now that allows the cheap, illegal labor to flow through for their corporate cronies.

I'll just mention again here quickly the experience which I had here in Commiefornia about three years back, wherein I was waiting to check out at a local big-box retailer with a grocery section.
In front of me in line were five different families in colorful ethnic clothing. Each family speaking a different non-English language. Every one of the five handing the cashier a "Golden State Advantage" EBT card for their huge haul of food. Including a package of steaks, for the ones right in front of me.
