Hillary Clinton is a Very Special Lady

Hillary claims something something partisan attack on Benghazi.

She was asked a good question, actually, about her emails: If Dick Cheney had been shown to have conducted all his government business on private emails, would she be as understanding about it as she urges others to be about her email use?

Instead, she "blocked and bridged" (a media handling technique where you ignore the question and talk about whatever you want to talk about) to yell about the Benghazi committee, generally, and Kevin McCartny's ill-chosen words.

"This committee was set up, as they have admitted, for the purpose of making a partisan, political issue out of the deaths of four Americans," she said. "I would have never done that! And if I were president --and there were Republicans or Democrats who were thinking about that -- I would have done everything to shut it down."

Longer video of her performance here.

By the way, she opened up about her alcohol problem.

Indeed. Look at how much her eyes light up at the question. She beams at getting to name her favorite drink.

Like she's in love with alcohol. Like she's had a torrid 30 year affair with it.

Longer Clip: "Beyond the pale."

She's flipping out because someone named "Kevin McCarthy" (and I confess that, sans Google, even I would no idea who he is) said something politicized about the Benghazi hearings, and Hillary mistakenly thinks this is something she can make political hay out of.

Sad, really. 99% of people don't know and don't care who Kevin McCarthy is, 99.9% of people are unaware of whatever the hell it was that he said, and the few that are aware are entirely political obsessives one way or the other who already either despise or worship HIllary anyway.

61 "This committee was set up, as they have admitted, for the purpose of making a partisan, political issue out of the deaths of four Americans,"

How is this a bad thing? The whole point of our Republican system is that I stand up and say, "Hey, I can do a better job than the other guy, so elect me to have his job."

Committees aren't bi-partisan circle-jerks, or at least they shouldn't be. I'd much rather have a Washington where both sides are using this stuff for partisan purposes because it will ensure that officials are held accountable.

The State Department fucked up royally and four people, including a US Ambassador, died as a result. Why shouldn't that be used against her? And why shouldn't Republicans in Congress seek to make it clear that she was at fault and use it in their battles with the White House.

Hillary was absent on the day in Yale Law School when they discussed separation of powers, and explained how congress is one of three co-equal branches of the federal government.

Also, Hillary is like Obama is her desire for unbridled executive power. She lusts for the same tyrannical power of dictators that Obama does. IOW, she is a clear and present danger to our republic, and should never be allowed anywhere near the White House (except, perhaps, as one of those smelly tourists that Hairy Reed so disdains).

He may find the investigation interesting primarily from the standpoint of which team is helped, but I don't and he doesn't speak for me. He is the perfect example of what happens when Republicans don't believe in anything much except that they should have their hands on the controls.

A corollary: Hillary supporters assume we think Benghazi is important just because we don't want their heroine elected, but this gets it backward. Benghazi is one of so many reasons we don't want her elected.

100 If we stop McCarthy from gaining the Speakership now, when it is so close he can taste it, over this incident, it will mark a sea change in the relations between the conservative voters and their elected leaders.

Prior to this, we had an agreement with our representatives that they can do and say pretty much anything they please. No work, coordination, planning, research or practice was required or expect. Congressmen and Senators had done the hard work - they got elected - now everything else was just getting along.

However, if we make an issue over this unthinking babbling, our leaders will begin to believe that they will be held accountable for the their words and actions. Members of committees might start meeting beforehand to decide a plan of action to focus on the important things. Individual members might stop going rogue trying to get the media to love them.

We might even be able to make a political party out of the clusterfuck we now have.

I'm all for seeing what happens.

October 22nd will be known as the day Hillary turned the election around.

She will get into that committee and pound them with McCarthy's admission at every opportunity. The MSM will edit every question and answer and by the time the public - the real public - the 95% of the people who will vote but who aren't really paying attention to the facts - see this, Hillary will come off as a true American Hero.

The FBI, if they do anything, will come down with a possible indictment in 2022, at the end of the investigation for a non-truthful answer to a federal agent.

The problem is that, since he *did* say it, now it's virtually impossible to deny on its face.

So, before, she could claim "vast, right-wing conspiracy" and we could laugh at her. Now she can claim it, and haul out the McCarthy quote (probably with audio/video) and say "Who's laughing, now?"

300 I think McCarthy mis-spoke as he is, perhaps, not so bright. He was going for some conservative cred and crapped on his shoe. No doubt Trey Gowdy has ripped him a new one or two or three by now. Trey will somehow set this straight and life will go on. I don't think she will show (placing bets now, giving it less than 50% that she will be there. Health crisis comin' after the debate when she will end up looking even more wooden than Bernie...which does not seem possible, but, hey, it iz what it iz).

Oh, CNN may throw soft balls at her. And Bernie may bow before her walker so it could go in her favor. But if she be "tarred" and not propped up by Humidor, then le pantsuit may be doddering and wobbly google-eyed. If her eye is a-wandering I think it indicates fatigue. No doubt she will be bobble-headed and forcing eyes open to look interested.

322 Kevin McCarthy should double down as in "The Benghazi Committee had as its goal to expose the utterly LAWLESS AND COWARDLY Secretary of State Clinton, and President Obama, for abandoning four Americans to die at an American embassy they should have defended.

The Committee was also designed to preserve the historic record of this historic event, which pre existing law would have accomplished, had Ms. Clinton not chosen to ignore the law by using a private server for official business. So, the Committee has had to focus on the one individual, Madame Secretary Clinton, who obstructed the historical record by failing to use a public server, and then attempting to destroy the remaining records of her interactions about Benghazi.

And, the Committee was designed to expose the unseemly, un-American Secretary of State Clinton, and her accomplices, for blaming a terror attack on an American citizen exercising their free speech so as to criticize Islam, when the evidence shows the attack was premediated well before that video.

But an American Secretary of State proclaiming to the world that supposedly free Americans should be bound by Islamic anti-blasphemy laws, and are not allowed to criticize Islam, or any religion, in any manner they see fit, is a betrayal of American values, if not her oath of office.

Yes the Benghazi Committee was designed to bring out the truth of all this, especially the illegal and unAmerican activities of Mrs. Clinton, who was a central player in all these events, despite the preferences of Madame Secretary Clinton.

355 Honestly I am not going to be able to get past the 6:30 mark on Hillary's longer performance.

Yes she knew Ambassador Stevens and she and/or her people denied him the DC 9 that he personally requested in an email that was leaked to Jake Tapper.

A security team of very few people were tasked with securing both the consulate in Benghazi and the embassy in Tripoli.

It took Doherty eight hours or more to get to Benghazi after he had to commander a plane to get there.

So the plane was needed, yet Hillary and/ or her bureaucracy sitting safe stateside felt that they knew better than the men on the ground.

And long story short ABC sat on the story because of what they decided was an inconvenient truth that would harm Obama's reelection chances.

The military and others can't even leak to the press anymore because the media is now part of the cover up.

378 Look. I'm as guilty as the next guy about making generalizations and inadvertent sexist comments... on purpose. That said, I think that the reason why Hillary is popular with many women, is that they see themselves in her. They see themselves when they are bitching at their husbands and they see that bitching as anger, and they equate anger with men and they equate men with power. They see Hillary's bitching as being the equal of men's power.

One - bitching isn't anger. Bitching is bitching. It's annoying and it isn't an indication of power - it is an indication of shrewishness.

Two - men's anger is often not a sign of power either. Often, it's a sign of not being equal to the task, of not being able to function under pressure.

Three - Women have plenty of power, probably more than men in general because they have power, feminine power, over men to go alone with the other equal power to men (being able to function under pressure without losing their cool) that men have.

So - bottom line - Hillary isn't powerful. She's a bitch and Benghazi is proof that she is incapable of functioning under pressure. So is her marriage, by the way.

Since it is the highest office Congress, the People's House, would be derelict in their duties if they did not thoroughly investigate the destruction of those emails.

Yep. Judicial Watch recently released emails they received where Cheryl Mills sent classified analysis on the Republic of Congo by the State Dept's lead Africa analysis to Bill Clinton's staff, along with key talking points from Cheryl, to assist in Bill's prep for an upcoming speech there.

It's looking like the State Dept. and the Clinton foundation were operating as a single entity.

Here's a bit of trivia for you; in Gen. Jimmy Doolittle's autobiography he talks about John Birch. Doolittle worked with Birch following the famous "Doolittle Raid" on Japan in the early days of WW II. Birch helped him gather his men, at least those who had not been captured or killed in China after the attack, and on Doolittle's recommendation Birch was a big help in gathering intelligence on the Japanese for the US during the way. Doolittle thought he was a good man and would not have been very happy having his name associated with the "John Birch Society".

One of the purposes of the private server and use of private e-mail accounts was so that Hillary's inner circle could chat without the folks at State or the White House seeing the dialogue. So it was the exception when they wound up at State.
