Former Texas Gov. Rick Perry has no more staff on the payroll in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire.

The news comes a day after Perrys political director in New Hampshire, Dante Vitagliano, left to join Ohio Gov. John Kasichs presidential campaign. WMUR reports that a third former Perry staffer in New Hampshire left the campaign recently for a job at the Republican National Committee.

Something randomly has my name! Time to sue:

An anchor for Fox News is suing Hasbro for more than $5 million over a toy hamster. Harris Faulkner sued Hasbro this week over its plastic Harris Faulkner hamster, sold as part of the Littlest Pet Shop line. She says the toy wrongfully appropriates her name and persona, harms her professional credibility as a journalist and is an insult.

Her lawsuit says that in addition to sharing her name, the toy bears a physical resemblance to Faulkner's traditional professional appearance, including its complexion, eye shape and eye makeup design.

Faulker, who was busy running around inside her giant plastic ball, could not be reached for comment.

FML:

California drivers would pay $65 a year in a new highway user fee plus higher taxes at the gas pump under a $3.6 billion plan Gov. Jerry Brown is pitching to help fix the states highways.

The administrations plan would create a highway user fee of $65 per vehicle, which would generate $2 billion and could be assessed during vehicle registration. Another $1 billion would be generated by raising the gas tax by 6 cents per gallon and the diesel tax by 11 cents per gallon. Those taxes would continue to rise based on the Consumer Price Index.

'Round here, they're busy building islands in the middle of main straight, which is a state highway.

The ones they've done so far, they installed, removed, and rebuilt four times. They're night quite done with the rest of them, so it's too early to tell whether they're going to remove and rebuild them and, if so, how many times.

151 Well, Harris Faulkner is black, and her hair has like a wavy long bangs thing (50s / 60s era long bob). She has big almond shaped eyes with false lashes.

The toy, which is quite cute, is ecru colored with a lock of dark brown wavy bangs and exaggerated almond-shaped eyes and drawn on lashes. I compared the eyes to the eyes of other toys in the line and they all have different styles. It's quite possible that whoever designed the toy was in fact inspired by the real Harris Faulkner.

I think it's not coincidence.
