About the Koran fragment: It's not necessarily a big deal. They dated the parchment, but it could be that the parchment existed for a while before it was written on; parchment would have been a valuable thing that they would only write on for an important reason.

South America. My wife and I bought some rural land her native country 10 years ago, have been developing it and recently completed the house to a livable condition. It is a summer home/getaway for us but I think of it more as my escape hatch if we continue down the path we are on.

The Verona papers was a long, hard read. Difficult but worth the effort. Wouldn't fit on bumper sticker or blame America for the worlds problems so I doubt many leftists have read it.
