67 from the Pcast, Gabe got a male-sak question about the 14th amendment and the Indians. He gave a half-hearted answer IMO, rattling off the subsequent bills that passed to make them so. Fine, but that didn't address the language in the Constitution and rub of matter being subject to the jurisdiction thereof ... that is the question left unresolved and the purpose, it seems of the question.

If you are not a citizen of the US, arguably, you are not subject to the jurisdiction thereof. I guess the argument is, if you cross illegally, you are subject to the jurisdiction thereof by breaking the law... but to me.... that would have been the better answer and debate that... PLUS original intent and why hasn't it been challenged up until now in the courts?

I have found that the people that make me cringe at saying things in my earshot that HR will find not PC are almost always voting for democrats. I like my job so keep my trap shut at work. But the people who are voting in this PC are clueless.

Ace argues that Sad Puppies didn't win because none of the candidates won, but that's not what Sad Puppies said they were going to do. Sad Puppies said they were going to expose that liberals were in charge of the Hugos and that if you don't have politics they like you won't win, period. Sad Puppies proved that 5 times with each no award. In 5 categories, the liberals had to shut down the competition because all the viable choices were tainted and do so publicly. Sad Puppies won.
