Donald Trump is widening his lead over the GOPs 2016 presidential field according to a new Quinnipiac poll.
The sampling released on Thursday shows Donald Trump leads the crowded Republican pack with 28 percent, up from 20 percent in a July 30 national survey. This is the highest tally and widest margin for any Republican so far in this election. Ben Carson has 12 percent, with 7 percent each for former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida. No other Republican tops 6 percent and 11 percent are undecided.

Having spent more than my share of time in rooms with big doors and electronic locks, I can tell you that up until a few years ago getting a digital document out of a SCIF would have been difficult, but by no means impossible for someone who was determined to do so.
Even after the changes brought about by the WikiLeaks issue, there are still ways to do it, just much harder.
It is in many ways still the responsibility of those people working in that environment to be looking out for folks who may trying to go around the system through stupidity, laziness or for less than honorable reasons.

I believe Trump is getting a lot of support by people like me projecting their conservative values on this non-politician.
Sure, the first thing Trump did to shoot to the front of the pack was to promise to build a wall. Everyone running makes a half-assed promise to do something, but when Trump says he will build a wall, everyone knows he will actually do it.
But beyond that, I project that Trump as president would bring a businessman's prospective to government. I think Trump won't be able to sleep nights if the F-35 program continues, spending a trillion on inferior airplanes. Oshkosh just got a contract to replace Hummers with a new truck - $250K a copy for the stripped down model, $400K ready to go.
Does every vehicle that transports 2 to 4 people need to be bomb proof? Couldn't we operate with Cadillac Escalades in the secure areas?
Every aspect of our government is operating at this level of waste. No normal politician sees this as a problem, that's just what stuff costs.
I believe Trump will change this.

Or country Y learns due to those emails that their assistant secretary for internal affairs is on the CIA payroll. That person just got a ticket to prison or being shot while their family become pariahs.
It also grants both countries an inside look at what the administration is really thinking in regards to their countries and neighbors. If those internal emails write off, say South Korea... then boom Kim would be tempted to launch a war.

In further exploration, Megyn is PRO open borders, and PRO a lot of other liberal causes.

Trump once again showing the way by revealing that FOX NEWS is not right wing or conservative. Those are considered pejoratives by the Left wing media and they are the ones who call FOX right wing. Because FOX doesn't push the liberal narrative as hard as the rest of the media.
It's all relative folks.
There is NO conservative media on TV. In spots you may have a program or two now and then but for the most part it goes from no narrative to a left leaning narrative to a rabid left narrative.

To clarify, before Trump, Jeb as the heir-apparent had a strategy to vacuum up all the money from the big donors and freeze everyone else out.
Now with Trump in and Jeb floundering, all that money is locked up and not available to a GOP replacement (I don't think). And Trump has his own very big stash.

from what little I've been able to read in my travels this last week Ace seems to think Trump is a democrat slinging nationalist leaning populism....

I agree with Ace and his new ban policy, attack the person's idea's not the person.
I admit attacking people is fun, especially if there are the high and mighty, nose in the air, intellectual snob type.
But with emotions riding high in Republican primary, some civility must be adhered to.
I remember the last primary when the Pauliacs would hit and run and various site spewing their insane views and calling everyone idiots for not drinking the Ron Paul kool-aide and prostrating themselves and kissing his hob-nailed boots.
Now that we have THE DONALD running, it appears that people are going crazy again.
Personally, I love THE DONALD because of his non-PC campaign and his bring to the forefront what the grassroots of the party and Independents are thinking and wanting.
Do I love him? YES!
Would I vote him? NO!
I don't think he is Presidential material.

You are correct! Was seen by the cancer doc today and he asked about depression. Who isn't that knows what's going on in America today. Social warriors and the PC crowd control the schools and the media. Our future is bleak at best. Will retain my Moron card even if Ace and l don't agree on everything.

The lack of policies, absence of banner ads, simple design, broken markup system, and drunken tirades are all part of the charm of this blog. Has anyone else ever wasted 30 min. writing out a post only to find out that the next post is up so no one will ever see what you wrote? That's the part of the charm too. If you don't like it there is always the politics tab on fark or the reddit sub politics.
I've pointed out mistakes in posts before and not gotten banned. There was one post by Ace where he wrote the same thing 3 times with different wording so I asked if he went to the Ayn Rand school of writing. He fixed it. You see I had a point and was kind of funny so no banhammer. If I'd called Ace a drunken clown who can't write then maybe I might have gotten the banhammer.
Bottom line is Ace's house ace's rules.
