Ferguson Mom Rants Against #BlackLivesMatter and the Beatification of "Criminals and Thugs"
Peggy Hubbard, a former Navy woman, and a mom and grandmother, is incensed is that a nine-year-old girl, Jamyla Bolden, was shot in the chest and killed in a mistaken drive-by-shooting while she was in her own house, doing her homework.
And yet no one wants to talk about that. Instead, the #BlackLivesMatter crew wants to "tear their own shit up" over the fact that a thug shot at a cop and, surprisingly, was shot in return. Well, she's going to talk about that. Story at Daily Mail. Below, two videos, both much-watch, though there's a Content Warning for both -- the first video contains a fair amount of profanity plus things You're Not Allowed to Say In Supposedly-Free America. The second clip would be okay, as it's a CNN interview, but Don Lemon, reading off the slurs lobbed against her, of course has to say house n_____. That's kind of Don Lemon's thing now, casually dropping n-bombs pretty much whenever he can work it in. Not only does she say that #BlackLivesMatter is a "joke," she says there's no such thing as White Privilege. Oh, by the way: When black critics attack her for "not being on their side," she's responded that she's not on anybody's side "based on race alone." So, obviously, a Racist.Comments

In stark reality, drive-by shootings more often than not end up injuring the wrong person. The Oakland technique is just to spray bullets in the general direction of a rival drug dealer or pimp, so it's pretty obvious most of those bullets are going to hit the wrong target.
This happens all the time. Weekly, if not more often. The victims are 99% black.
Where are the protests? Do black lives not matter?

dKos et al. played up the "unarmed black man shot by cop" angle. I checked the original story.
The Defenders of Jerame leave out the detail that there was a gun, in plain sight in the open glove box.
The cops told Jerame to keep his hands visible and stay in the car.
Jerame kept moving his hands and tried to push his way out of the car.
The cop shot Jerame, killing him.
So, Jerame was unarmed in the sense that he wasn't holding the gun directly in front of him at the time he decided to not comply with the order.
My take-away? Comply with the police orders.

To be entirely fair, if they issued a warrant for your arrest in 2014 and still haven't bothered to get you yet, you're probably not that high priority.
That being said, long before Ferguson, I had been saying for some time I'd like the state to start making traffic violations community service first with the option to plead to a fine (rather than the other way around.)
Sever the revenue aspect and we'd probably see a lot less tickets.
Granted this was never really about tickets per se, that was an easy excuse the media used to push racial grievances. (Seriously did no one bother to look at St. Charles as part of their investigation, of course not. What'd you find is the same problem, but instead of blacks it's white trailer park dwellers.)

We lived in a nice pink trailer with those little flying wings at the end over the big window. It had built in bunk beds. Anchor Court in Kenai. I think it's still there. Fantastic adventure for a summer, and very George Jetson.

If #BLM wants me to believe that *they* believe that Black Lives Matter, then maybe they need to start *acting* like they believe that Black Lives Matter.
Maybe they need to start cooperating with police when the police are trying to crack down on gang activity. Maybe they need to rage against the gangs and thugs who are killing innocents. Maybe they need to make it clear - through actions, not words - that this thugs, barbaric, predatory behavior will not be tolerated in their communities. Maybe men need to start marrying women with whom they have children- to protect those women and children, and to let those children learn a civilized culture. Maybe they need to stop participating in their own genocide by killing up to (some reports I've seen) 50% of their not-yet-born children.
But they (as a group) do not. They want me to act as if their lives matter- as if they have value, but they want to act as if their lives are worthless.
Now, I do value their lives, but this unequal dynamic allows them to get away with (literally) murder (a man who does not value his own life certainly does not value mine), while I cannot even defend myself. And to that, I will not agree.

This is something I've always thought.
I know a number of Nigerians who were born here when their parents were here legally, usually when they were in college (like my late older brother who was born here while my mom was in grad school at Yale or my nephew who was born when we were in college) . Their parents took them back to Nigeria when they moved back. And the kids came back to the US later, usually a adults.
Oh, and black people in dangerous, dead end neighborhoods have no one else to blame but their messed up culture. And the leftists who enable and encourage them. It's a real shame that innocents have to be caught up in their mess.
And of course, the president, who is in a unique position to spur change, just sits by, silently fanning the flames for his political benefit.

You miss the point. It isn't about black lives mattering. It is about "not acting white" and getting shit for free. It's about making a living by selling drugs and beating up white people, and getting street cred and all that supposedly "authentic" black behavior, which is nothing of the kind. It is about living the ghetto stereotype and not being stopped by the cops. It is about "getting mine" at the expense of everyone else.

I went to a historically black college. Aside from the immense culture shock, I felt some sympathy for the black plight. Slavery and all that. My parents who had lived in the US for a few years before we were born didn't buy it.
Until I moved to an unfortunate area of DC and saw McDonald's paper bags right next to the trash can on the street. My sympathy instantly vanished.

Tommy Sotomayor gives a whole new perspective. He rants against single mothers and mothers who beat their kids. He says it is part of black culture to beat your kid when ever and for what ever reason you want. He says this is one of the contributing factors to out of control teens. I highly recommend his youtube videos.
He also pointed out that when you see these moms after their kids are killed you rarely see them crying. Often angry but not sad and never crying.

.It used to be a child born of foreign parents who were legally in the US had to make a irrevocable declaration on their 18th birthday about what Country they wanted to be a citizen of, I am not sure if that is still in effect but it happened to a Sailor of mine back in the 1990s.
His parents were from Czechoslovakia on some sort of Visa when he was born in the US. He joined the Navy and later got an assignment that required a clearance after he was in for about 10 or so years. That was when the trouble started and both the State Department and DOD said he wasn't a US Citizen and not eligible for a clearance because he never made that declaration. We had to go through a bunch of hoops to get it corrected.

If #BLM wants me to believe that *they* believe that Black Lives Matter, then maybe they need to start *acting* like they believe that Black Lives Matter.
Maybe they need to start cooperating with police when the police are trying to crack down on gang activity. Maybe they need to rage against the gangs and thugs who are killing innocents. Maybe they need to make it clear - through actions, not words - that this thugs, barbaric, predatory behavior will not be tolerated in their communities. Maybe men need to start marrying women with whom they have children- to protect those women and children, and to let those children learn a civilized culture. Maybe they need to stop participating in their own genocide by killing up to (some reports I've seen) 50% of their not-yet-born children.
But they (as a group) do not. They want me to act as if their lives matter- as if they have value, but they want to act as if their lives are worthless.
Now, I do value their lives, but this unequal dynamic allows them to get away with (literally) murder (a man who does not value his own life certainly does not value mine), while I cannot even defend myself. And to that, I will not agree.
