Oh, Yes: Al Gore "Insiders" Said To Be Pouring Lukewarm, But Not Cold, Water on Idea Gore Might Enter the Race

Here's the thing:

Any Democrat with a pulse should get into the race, and they'd be fools or cowards not to.

The original assumption that kept them out, that Hillary was inEVITAble, is false.

Hillary is plenty EVITAble.

[I]n recent days, "they’re getting the old gang together," a senior Democrat told BuzzFeed News.

"They're figuring out if there’s a path financially and politically," the Democrat said. "It feels more real than it has in the past months."

Blood in the water draws sharks. And also, bears.

8 I was thinking about this on the way home. The decision to get in this year was pretty binary for the Dems. Will she implode, yes or no? If you go ahead and run regardless and she struggles through, then if you lose, no big deal, you were expected to. If she implodes, you're in the catbird seat.

I firmly believe this was the Warren strategy all along.

I can't agree at all. They're rapidly and correctly concluding that she is burned bread. They've got another woman warming up, and she's even more leftist than Hillary. If Warren chooses not to run, they've got an out and out socialist, so either way, they run a socialist. If you're going down in flames, you might as well have some fun with it.

Well I fixed that today, thank you xbmc/kodi. So, if the occasion should arise, I'm one click away. If the occasion should arise. Tonight. Or every night.

Somewhat OT:

I probably should save this for the Sunday Book Thread or related topics, but I finished Go Set a Watchman. In it Atticus explains there is a difference between Jeffersonian Democrats and Roosevelt democrats. He is Jeffersonian. It also mentions he voted for Eisenhower.

And Scout's uncle has a rant that would fit nicely in the comments here. He might be a secret Moron.

Could have knocked me over with a feather. Lots of inconvenient truths in that book about the true face of democrats and political tensions. Which is why the MSM worked so hard to bury it in a hole in the ground and convince people never to read it.

233 Ok, here is my theory about the Clinton email server. I thought to myself what is the absolute worse reason the Clinton's would use it for.

The Clinton's where taking classified documents and selling them to the Chinese or highest bidder. Or giving them to an intermediate party or allowing them access. This would explain high dollar donations from foreign governments.

Once it came to light that there was a private server the first thing she said was that there was no classified documents on the server. They wiped all the documents of their classification after being caught in order to hide their crime.

234 I think they should run Ted Kennedy just to see if the stupid LIV's would vote for him. They could prop him around like "Weekend at Bernie's with a crane."

Oh, wait, there is already a Bernie in the race! He looks rather corpse-like as well...especially standing on stage frowny-face while Black Olives Matter takes over.

I forget, if this is the Trump only comment thread please forgive me.

235 I don't want to see chads hanging all over the place. I hope Al Gore is too fat to run this time.

238 One shudders to think what an "Al Gore insider" might be.
