But last week a federal judge in San Francisco issued another restraining order against releasing ANY future videos, not just the ones involving the StemExpress officials. This release looks like a violation of that RO, so either there's something going on behind the scenes that we don't know about, or the Center for Medical Progress is thumbing their nose at the judge.

Lately, every time she pisses me off, I think of these videos and realize just how lucky I am that I was brought up to not even consider abortion. The thought that she could have ended up like these children breaks my heart.
I can't watch them. It would turn me into a puddle of mush for the rest of the day. Even hearing about the summaries is sometimes too much. But I hope they manage to release ALL of the videso, because I want the "pro-choice" fanatics to know precisely what they are supporting.

Her job? Courier for tissue sampling from the operating room to the research labs. It included abortions that the university was performing. PP isn't the only abortion provider.
I believe the university I went to was not an "abortion on demand" facility, rather, the abortions they performed were on women whose ultrasounds demonstrated fetal abnormalities, genetic defects, etc.
Regardless, my roommate and I never discussed it again. As 20 year olds, we simply chose not to think about such things, believing that eventually we would find the rationale for such procedures to be proven sound with increasing age and knowledge.
It has turned out the opposite.

Same here!! They found my son's heart defects during the 17 week sonogram. No one suggested abortion, just very careful information shared about our options and additional test for some scary genetic defects. We also started seeing a pediatric cardiologist where my unborn kid, not me, was the patient (so, not a clump of cells)
He's now 12, an absolute delight.
The multiple surgeries, heart caths, etc. were not a small thing, but so very worth it.

I believe the university I went to was not an "abortion on demand" facility, rather, the abortions they performed were on women whose ultrasounds demonstrated fetal abnormalities, genetic defects, etc.
Correct, this isn't limited to Planned Parenthood. I'm confident many large and extensive abortion clinics are part of the scam.
But lets step back a moment and think about this. All those parts. How many bits do research labs really need? Why are they ordering and paying for so much? What are they doing with all these mangled baby parts?
We already know that not a single viable treatment has arisen from embryonic stem cell research. Not one. They've all been incredibly bad for the trial patients, instead.

So just because something may not technically violate the law automatically makes it ok? We can't question whether something is moral or ethical or humane if "no law has been broken?" If it's legal, all debate is cut off.

We avoided all testing because frankly I didn't want to know or be tempted in any way (not that I was worried about the temptation).
But there is nothing wrong with wanting to prepare yourself ahead of time if that is the reason why got the testing done. I can see the benefit of that.

Getting research grants anyway. Remember, the CDC and NIH are the folks who give out huge research grants to study why lesbians are fat, etc.
So just because there hasn't been any worthwhile embryonic stem cell research doesn't mean that they won't end up with a single study that shows something, cough cough.
Think about this. Why would the NIH shut down research in this area when it might harm the abortion sacrament of Dem Liberals, who are the ones in charge of overseeing the NIH and who are getting donations from PP?
Follow the money.
As far as university research on fetal remains, that can also be in the realm of determining what causes fetal defects, etc. I'm not giving them a pass so much as saying that I believe a university research system is much broader and has actually done some good as opposed to PP, which is aborting for profit and for ideology.

I read yesterday that Bobby Jindal has pulled Medicaid funding from PP. Someone correct me if I have that wrong....
Heard on ABC radio yesterday, two sentences about the vote on pulling federal PP funding as being based on the videos, AND....only 3% of PP procedures involved abortion.

Cell culture studies with harvested tissues are complicated and wasteful. It's pretty easy to burn through millions of cells (or the contents of a single sample harvested from one of the babies in those videos) in a single day with nothing to show for it.
Further, although samples like these are usually stored at -70ºC, or in liquid nitrogen, there is still something of a "time limit" on the use of such samples. Materials that have been unused for more than a few years may not be considered worth selling; if they don't revive from the thaw, you just end up having to provide the customer another vial for use.

My understanding from the videos is that some tissue buying companies do not want tissue that has been injected with one of the two different chemicals that are used to kill a fetus first before aborting it. So yes, the fetus is alive when it is extracted and much of what is being discussed over dinner in these videos is how to pull a viable fetus out of a uterus without crushing it's head or tearing an organ such as a liver. The doc talks about different techiniques and how some abortionists are more skilled and better with their hands and instruments than others at ripping the fetus out.
This is one of the reasons for the heavy twilight sleep anesthesia that some women die from at abortions clinics, if they don't die from bleeding to death.
But of course, we cannot ask that abortion clinics have hospital connections, that would be a war on women.

In any case I think her interpretation is wrong. Yes surgeons alter procedures a lot. But the law gets to intention.
Now yes, a good defense would try to come up with a myriad of other reasons the abortion (read: baby murder) was altered, and such a defense might work in many instances. But Baby Killer, MD's interpretation is just stupid.
Also, sugereons just can't alter procedures willy-nilly, if they do that and something goes wrong, oh boy the liability it burns.

Same here!! They found my son's heart defects during the 17 week sonogram. No one suggested abortion, just very careful information shared about our options and additional test for some scary genetic defects. We also started seeing a pediatric cardiologist where my unborn kid, not me, was the patient (so, not a clump of cells)
He's now 12, an absolute delight.
The multiple surgeries, heart caths, etc. were not a small thing, but so very worth it.

They're also withholding information from patients and doing procedures based on what they want vs. what is best for the patient. Potentially putting their female patients at risk for the sake of an intact sample?
Also, do patients typically know when they're part of a study or donating tissue samples?
I recall when our son had surgery at CHOP they asked if they could take blood samples and access medical records as part of a study into what may cause his kind of heart defects. So there was an up-front consent requested and given. I would bet that buried in the fine print of their patient forms there is something about donations, but this is likely never discussed with the patients, and they sure as hell haven't been advertising these so-called good woks via tissue donations as part of their PR.

What you were feeling was the absence of the Lord's Spirit. I've been a few places where I stopped mid-stride and turned around because I felt the Spirit retreat. One was a decommissioned prison that offered self-guided tours. I've never been to one of the Nazi death camps, but I imagine the same thing would happen there.

I'm joking, of course, but how much more of this before that the question of using force to stop it becomes germane? If the government does nothing? If you saw someone on the street grab a baby out of a carriage and attempt to dash its brains out against a wall, you're be perfectly justified, even applauded for, violently stopping him, wouldn't you? This is a very weighty ethical dilemma we're facing as a nation and as individuals.

Better than a 20yr old that killed some family in a DUI. Yeah decisions we make can have sucky consequences. Horrific is a really strong word for 2 people giving and supporting an new life. And even more stupid since EBT and section 8 exist. To watch a child starve would be a reason for abortion but that can't happen today if a parent cares.

Asshole, there is something called "adoption" for those 16 year olds who are pregnant. No shortage of people who want to adopt kids - which is why Americans are paying big bucks and flying around the world to do it. Yes, it's emotionally difficult to give a kid up for adoption - but at least the child is alive, not dead.
