If this were applied to regions, what would we find?

18 Childhood obesity and all of the related health problems is a huge problem but banning foods and making school lunches taste like cardboard is not the answer. Parents being responsible to make sure their kids don't lounge in front of TV/videos/Internet for hours, don't eat fast food and crap as their main diets, and actually get outside and get some type of excercise daily is.

Individual responsibility and not government mandated dictates. When my kids were in elementary school we had one "professional" PTA mom who tried to ban the bringing of cakes, cupcakes, etc. for birthdays and holidays to school. I seriously wanted to punch this scold in the face.

My son's public elementary did ban those foods. They helpfully suggested that instead of food for your kid's b-day, he/she should bring in a copy of their favorite book and donate it to the library.
We did fine for school parties, w/yogurt, gorp, fresh fruit, etc., but the no cupcakes thing annoyed me.

If there are too few minorities in an area you are guilty of racism because white people are preventing the minorities from moving there. If there is a good mix of white people and minorities you are guilty of racism just because.
