MSNBC Axes Ed Show, Alex Wagner; Lets Go Krystal Ball, Toure.
But Now They're Bringing In Their Big Guns -- Brian Williams

That'll fix things up just right.

Shows being canceled outright include The Cycle, a multiple-host show similar to Fox’s The Five, Now with Alex Wagner, and The Ed Show. Politico reports that MSNBC President Phil Griffin is expected to make the formal announcement as soon as Thursday.

Not all of the hosts of the three canceled shows are leaving. Alex Wagner is expected to remain with the network as is Ari Melber, one of the co-hosts of The Cycle. However, TV Newser reports that Ed Schultz, Abby Huntsman, Toure, and Krystal Ball are "out."

Brian Williams will be hosting a new "News" show, with the actual quotes actually in the title.

Actually, the full title is

Breaking "News" & Storytime Adventure Hour with Your Host, Captain Brian Williams

Okay I made all that up, but seriously, they should put "News" in quotes. That would be funny.

No longer having steady employment on TV, Ed Schultz, Krystal Ball, and Toure announced their plans for a more "interactive" sort of programming, which they described as "annoying people on a one-on-one fashion in the streets or shopping malls."

The network’s decline is being blamed on the heavy focus on progressive commentary over straight news. A Pew Research report published in 2013 found that MSNBC was 85% commentary and 15% "factual reporting."

Brian Williams is hoped to bring that up to as high as 17% "factual reporting."

Meanwhile, there's just more Democrat/Media incest-- Alex Wagner's husband (whose wedding was attended by both the Obama's and the Ayers/Dohrn coupling), former White House chef Sam Kass, has been hired by NBC.

NBC is said to be "excited" (no really) to have yet another Obamoid on the payroll.

Co-host Savannah Guthrie gushed: "...we've got an exciting announcement. You guys remember Sam Kass, of course he’s the former assistant White House chef, executive director of the First Lady's Let's Move campaign, and nutrition advisor to the President....He is becoming an NBC News senior food analyst."

6 OT:

Within the next week or so, I expect some MAJOR BREAKING NEWS!!! to suck as much attention out of the still-breaking PP story as possible. The dead lion didn't quite do it. Ginned-up passing social outrage du jour won't do it. The PP horror will impact a whole lot of politicians so whatever it is, it'll have to be big.

If I end up wrong, feel free to barrel me for my false prediction, I'll go quietly. But I put NOTHING past these people anymore.

I guess this means that this is big on the Obama agenda?

I recall Nancy Snyderman, MD, has a one-hour MSNBC morning show that lasted from the time Congress started the Obamacare push to the time it was enacted. Uncanny timing, eh? It's almost like NBC was providing some sort of propaganda support to the WH in getting it passed. But that would never happen....

Now, I'm reading about some other ex US Atty asking for Leonard Peltier to be granted clemency. Guess we will hear a ton of that shit b/c obama is their last shot to get the disgusting thug double murderer out. He deserved the death penalty but it was struck down at the time. He shot those two agents while they begged for their lives. He also ordered a woman to be beat, repeatedly raped, and shot in the head. Who in hell would want him free? Oh, yeah, a leftard. spit.

36 OT: Baby butcher topic. I follow Kyle Clark a Colorado NBC anchor who generally seems reasonable. he and someone else are watching the full latest video and he says:

Full footage shows pro-life activists trying to bait @PPRockyMountain into unethically changing abortion technique. Doctor refused.

Full footage: @PPRockyMountain suggested activists go to Boulder's Dr Warren Hern for late term fetuses. No interest. PP was the target.

On video, @PPRockyMountain medical director says by end of 2015 they will start doing abortions up to 20 weeks. Late-term is after 20 weeks.

Has any of the Horde watched the entire thing, and does that seem accurate? I'd hate to think the sting group *did* give grounds for the "deceptive editing" claims, and would also hate to think that I was so mistaken in the character of what seemed to be one of the few legit newsies.

I guess the response is to take them to court but that costs money and takes too long when you can put a stop to it immediately by shooting it.

199 "How is what you're doing any different, VIA?"

Seeing as I live within eight/ten blocks of some of these murders, I take an interest in what is going on here.

For the most part, these are what I consider "own goals".

And for the innocents who are lost, I grieve.

In cases where the name of he shooter/suspect or the victim are provided, I run them though the online Maryland Judiciary Case Search.

To be blunt, with limited exceptions, this is criminal on criminal activity.

I mourn all loss of innocent human life.

I hope that makes sense.

While there we talked about baseball and joked about other stuff.
When he paid for his liquor, he left a twenty on the counter. When I stepped up, the cashier said that the young guy had just paid for my twelve pack of Heineken. And I got to keep the change. I was flabbergasted. I may have to rethink my opinion of young people.
