Tell your friend that public funding constitutes about 1/3rd of PP's budget; government completely defunding PP would still leave PP with 2/3rds of its remaining budget, and quite frankly, if PP would give up abortions, then their public funding would no longer be in any serious jeopardy. THEY are perpetually risking 1/3 of their budget for what they claim constitutes only 3% of the services that they offer. Who is being the irresponsible ideologue in this picture?

It has not gone unnoticed that every country in a demographic death spiral right now has a lot of "access" to birth control and abortions, while countries with growing populations have less "access" to both.
Maybe something about nature and evolution and Darwin could explain why that is.
But, if it's any consolation -- abortion will be illegal in most of Europe in the next 50 years or so. That's about the time when the Muslim populations in European countries will meet then surpass the native European populations.

If you hopped in the WABAC Machine and went from 2015 to 1955, and there started asking people in the nearest newsroom about which J-school they had attended, you'd get a bunch of blank looks.
Cub reporters started out from scratch on minor local stories, closely supervised by editors who boxed their ears over mistakes, and slowly honed their skills as they were assigned more difficult stories to cover.
And, that apprenticeship system produced a superior result.

The birth certificate that Barky and his junta allegedly scanned and "released" was an actual piece of paper, not a digital file from Hawaii. Barky eventually let two JournoListers physically examine the document - which they then happily reported was genuine and "really cool" but the paper document was never seen by anyone else.
Sheriff Joe's team did a great investigation, however, and explained what the faint pencil marks meant (from those who had been working with the Hawaiian BCs originally and the shorthand they used for classifications) and showed how they didn't jive with all the information allegedly typed onto the document.
In any event, the US had its chance to take Barky and his natural born citizenship claim through the courts to possibly arrive at the correct Constitutional interpretation and save ourselves this total destruction ... but that's all long past, now. It's just funny how Barky has no compunction about making the same accusations (that he is clearly guilty of) of others (who are clearly not guilty of them). I would say it boggles the mind but after watching this same shit over 6 years it's just par for the course.

You can use multiple tags but only one modifier per enclosure:
[i ][b ]words [/b ][/i ] example but use without spaces. Spaces added so you can see the tags. nested tags must be closed in the order they were added: last done first ended.
Look up some basic html tagging. Difference here is the limited tags available and the use of [ ] as enclosure instead of < >
Don't forget to use the / before the tag within the enclosure or the modifier will modify all the comments and you will be embarrassed.

The Ancients exposed unwanted infants because they believed that
smothering or strangling babies was impious, an affront to the spirit of

If you left the baby outside, a human might find and save it. Whatever the gods ordained would happen.
Besides, an adult killing a baby was considered cruel and shameful.
(The Romans considered the Carthaginians' sacrifice of infants to Moloch disgusting, BTW.)

The early Christians were anti-exposure. All human life was precious to God, and Christ had commanded that children be led to Him and to take care of them. Mothers who had more children than money could be and would be supported by the Church. And they could be brought up as Christians!
May God damn Planned Parenthood for deliberately disregarding Scripture and treating unborn children with less respect than people of Antiquity. They are certainly damning us - this year the number of black children sacrificed to the Moloch of abortion exceeded the number of black children born alive in NYC. How could their lives have benefited NYC, NY state, and the USA in general? We'll never know, because instead of being desired, loved, and supported children they became DEAD BABY PARTS to be used for...something.

Read it for the first time this year. I had read Animal Farm in high school and just recently got into reading again. Much like Office Space, I'm sure it wouldn't be nearly as depressing if we weren't personally experiencing the contents.

For abortion, think of it like Slavery. The intelligentsia of the old south knew that if slavery was restricted anywhere on moral grounds, than that was the nation passing judgment on them. Hence the desire to protect the Peculiar Institution and, in the waning years of the old South, justify it.
Abortion is no different, if abortion is finally outlawed on moral grounds, then all who supported it will be condemned, just like the defenders of slavery have been condemned.
Can you think of higher stakes than that? Defunding planned parenthood because it is a murderous institution makes the whole liberal elite, of both parties, accomplices in murder. They would rightfully lose any respectand authority. Thus, PP must be defended, just like slavery had to be defended.
