Interesting juxtaposition. I expect this is sadly true. So yes, call and write your Congresscritters about this issue, but if any of you wants to do something about it? Find a local pregnancy center and get involved. Donate, volunteer, spread the word about them, etc.
PP's two big sources of cash are the govt and abortions; not only will you help save lives (mother as well as child; abortion is destructive of everyone involved), but you'll also be sticking it to PP by denying them a key source of revenue.

Watching the video was hard. There are a lot of things in the medical profession that are unpleasant to see. However, what we should focus on is the illegality of selling the baby parts.
We need, as hard as it is, to recognize the good that comes out of research that use the tissue they are getting. Yes, it would be nice if these procedures never occurred in the first place and if they did, that the remains were treated with dignity, but the reality of it is that certain science requires this material.
All I'm saying is that at this point, now that this group has done the work to expose the Planned Parenthood people as the criminals that they are, that we stick to the criminality of it while acknowledging that the research that goes on is a necessary evil.

I really wish I had the answers. The status quo isn't working, we have to do something different. The problem is, the only options we have are to start a new party, which will probably take too long unless we really seize the moment like the Republicans did to the Whigs, or to hold an Article V convention and hope that there's still enough people that believe in the Rule of Law to make it stick.
There's only one other option. We all know what it is, it feels inevitable, and I don't think anybody wants it.

And the truly sad part? The slaughter for research is pointless. They've been able to recreate embryonic stem cells from adult donations now for about a decade.
Not to mention every single stem cell breakthrough has involved adult stem cells. You have to hunt for that information because they hide it. Embryonic? All it's produced are tumors.
Not to mention that as far as treatments go using adult stem cells makes far more sense. The DNA in the cell is exactly the same as the patient's, taking away the biggest problem with donor tissue- rejection.

Your read is almost identical to mine, though I'm thinking "like a leopard" on the third creature might point to a jaguar (only member of the leopard family native to the Western hemisphere, and it looks pretty leopard-like), in which case that one represents either the New World as a whole or the US in particular. If you happen to come back and check, I have actually read several modern scholars that are revising their opinion on that last beast. Apparently, a lot of them are convinced it's referring to the Islamic caliphate, which did indeed devour much of the old Greco-Roman empire, appeared to have been defeated for a time, and is now trying to claw its way back.
For what it's worth, I have personally thought for some time now that Islam is the anti-Christ religion. It has all the markings, in my opinion, in how it's borrowed useful bits of Judaism and Christianity and then twisted and warped them into something entirely evil.

Yeah but that's not going to work with any average person who has half a brain left and has been told for the last 40 years that it's just a lump of cells, so an abortion is no different than removing a wart. Some random lump of cells doesn't have a brain, a spine, a liver, lungs, legs, etc.

Someone asked about Verizon:
"Verizon does not donate to PP, but they do have a program to match

Note that for ATT:
"Our company matches employee contributions to various 501(c)3
organizations. Under this program, some of our employees selected
Planned Parenthood for these contributions. That matching option is no
longer available."
It should be productive to ask Verizon, "Is Verizon comfortable with supporting Planned Parenthood and their trafficking in fetal organs?" in light of the latest news and ATT's response.

Tax codes and legalistic, procedural niceties are, really, in the end trivial things. Life is not; dignity is not; freedom, true freedom (which bears responsibility as its hand maid) is not; the truth is not -- it is the cornerstone.
Fight for this, and the rest comes along to some degree; don't fight, you lose everything -- even the tax code arguments -- in the long run.

Glad to be of help. I need to get off my butt and start sending emails myself. I think emailing one corporation per day would be a useful goal.
Also, need to push this to my Sunday School group. #GamerGate shows that these sort of emails can make a huge difference. Gawker slurred gamers, and lost 7 figures in corporate advertising as a result of gamers speaking to their advertisers.
AT&T abandoned PP ... we can definitely pressure more into doing so.
Spread the word. Simple emails to these corporations: "What is your position on Planned Parenthood's organ trafficking?"

I think I might focus on the corporations which I currently enjoy a business relationship with, and that I have other options with other businesses.
I send Verizon over $300.00 a month.
I could send that to some other company just as easily.

Being a customer is a bonus, but it's also about communicating The Public's Perception to the corporations in question.
If they're not giving to PP on principle, they're going to ask themselves, "This is upsetting many people. Why risk the bad press of having anything to do with PP?"
Those that do give on principle can then be identified and confronted ... "Why do you support this? What does this have to do with your product and area of business?
