To recap. Texas attorney general recieved tapes on the Houston planned parenthood today. Like the others. He has subpoenaed the three planned parenthood affiliates in the state

Texas senate had a hearing today on the sale of fetal tissue by planned parenthood. According to testimony, the houston clinic alone makes 120k per month on the sale of fetal tissue. Planned parenthood was invited but refused to appear

This is what Judith Coplon's daughter said about her. Mom got caught red handed passing secrets to the ruskies but conviction thrown out due to wiretaps. Judy was also named in Venona. But lefties can justify anything.

I identify with a higher ideal, so it is not treason.

Republican House Speaker John Boehners top healthcare policy adviser is linked by blood to a figure at the heart of the Planned Parenthood baby part-selling scandal.

Charlotte Ivancic, Boehners health policy director, is the older sister of Cate Dyer, the founder of Stem Express, the California-based company caught buying aborted fetus parts from Planned Parenthood. Ivancic, formerly Rep. Paul Ryan point person on Medicare reform, advises Boehner on all aspects of health care reform.

Boehner spokeswoman Emily Schillinger gave The Daily Caller a statement from Boehners office on the matter. "Charlotte Ivancic is a dedicated public servant who enjoys the utmost respect among her peers and Members of Congress", Schillinger said. "She has the Speakers complete trust and confidence in both her work and her character."

224 @180

Boehner just looks at his job as head of the congressional division of Americorp and the SCOAMF as its president.

McConnel runs the Senatorial division.

Their product is legislation to make the federal government ever more powerful.

Their constituency are the cronies who fill their personal coffers.

Once you view it through that prism everything they do makes sense.

you would think he would act as an oppositional leader but look at it this way, when you go to work do you act to thwart your fellow co-workers and the company itself?

No you don't.

So that the problem we face.

Two and a half years ago, Ivancic joined Boehnerland, where she's the only health care adviser and also works on veterans' issues. "I knew going in she was probably one of the best health care minds on Capitol Hill," says Mike Sommers, Boehner's chief of staff. "What I didn't fully appreciate was her political skill. She also has the capacity to evaluate the political scenarios around the deal. I think that's what makes her invaluable to the speaker."

You know, like mid 18th to mid 19th century?

Whenever info like that happened to be available that would be nice to know.
(Yes, I'm often to lazy to wiki the artist's bio.)

Not a video expert by any means, but when I did some technical work with video, there was an option to enable the frame counter so effectively a running time/date stamp was continuously displayed on the screen. It was too fast to actually read when viewed at normal speed, but it was possible to advance frame by frame and see the frame counter increment. If that technique was used, it seems that it would be a very powerful technical information that the video had NOT been edited or manipulated. Not that anything digital cannot be "tweaked", but it would be a non-trivial exercise IMHO to do this with a live recording.

There's a reason those hunts cost $50k. A large part is the permitting and licensing. But it's also because the guides, the company, is supposed to handle everything. Because of course they would. How would some guy from America, or Canada or anywhere else know what to do?

If the guy purposely poached this lion, if he knowingly violated the law, punish his ass. Nail him to the wall.

But if his guides screwed him over, I feel bad for him. His life, at least for now, is over. He's been doxed. Business is closed. Protestors out front. All because he fucking shot an animal.

Posted by: HR drinking gin at July 29, 2015 10:52 PM (rHXGG)

No. It's not a disregard for poaching. The problem is that just in comparison to the horrendous conditions the people in Zimbabwe live, largely thanks to their crazy dictator Mugabe, the lion thing isn't really all that big a deal.

I think the dentist shooting the lion is questionable, at best. It looks like he probably did poach the thing illegally. If so that's a crime and he should be charged, etc and so on. But again, the poaching of one lion does not compare to the slaughter of human beings and what I object to is that I've seen post after post after post on social media and legacy media about the lion thing and it's crickets when it comes to actual human beings being murdered, tortured, sold into sex slavery, and aborted and sorted into parts for profit.

Matt Walsh wrote about this earlier and he said that it is easy for us to love a lion and subsequently be outraged about its death, because it's cute and fuzzy and we don't have to deal with lions. They're an abstraction in a country on the other side of the world. TeamCecil is a madness particle.

An angel and an imp show up. The angel appears like she just stepped out of a Victoria's Secret catalog with classical music playing. The imp meanwhile crawls out of a sewer grate with disgusting stuff dripping off its malformed bat-wings while some grunge rock plays out the cheap ear-buds.

Angel and imp speak at the same time, one cooing like doves and other sounding like a nickel caught in a garbage disposal. "Yes."

Idiot steps towards the angel. "I've been good all my life."

Imp, "Wait just a minute bub, you signed a contract."

Idiot looks dumbfounded. "What contract?"

Imp conjures up in a greasy poof of oily black smoke a piece of paper. Imp dons his monocle and squints. "Did you not at yesterday's erection *snigger* of the statue of Great Baphomet willing surrender your soul to Satan?"

Idiot, "Well I thought it was a joke."

Imp, "wrong answer bub." Then imp leers at the angel. "Humans are such suckers."

Matt Walsh wrote about this earlier and he said that it is easy for us to love a lion and subsequently be outraged about its death, because it's cute and fuzzy and we don't have to deal with lions. Hit an animal with an arrow and it's not going down right there. It runs off. An arrow is not really able to kill on the spot, it's designed to bleed the animal out until it drops.

That it took 40 hours is a sign that it did not hit an immediately vital area and the lion managed to chug along for a while until it dropped.

He also characterized the pro-life protesters as idiots while featuring multiple pro-PP protesters repeating talking points endlessly. This is the same thing I've seen on the National Media. The Bible clearly states that we are known personally by God while being formed in the womb.
Ps 139: For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Thy works, And my soul knows it very well. Myframe was not hidden from Thee, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth. Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Thy book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.

That's a valid but incomplete point.

The consumers of art post WWII new very well that there was a distinct possibility that the art they were buying was stolen from Jews by the Nazis. Not all certainly, but nowhere near zero.

On the other hand, the vast majority of hunts in Southern Africa are above board and sanctioned by both the governments and conservation organizations.

The "Yippee, a lion was killed...who gives a shit" camp is being inflammatory for a reason. But they are wrong.

However....I will cheerfully kill 1,000,000 animals to save the life of one human being.

Not true at all. It's a matter of putting things into perspective. And I'm sorry but the slaughter if human beings supersedes concerns about the potential poaching of one animal. Cover the lion? Sure! Go right ahead. It's an issue. It's not the biggest issue ever and it is certainly significantly less important than the lives of people.

I'm angered by the poaching story.

I'm Outrageously outraged (to borrow the horde's parlance) about the slaughtering of babies in the womb. I'm outrageously outraged about the torture and genocide committed by ISIS right now. I'm outreach outlay outraged about the sex slave trade going on in Africa and the ME right now.

It's not lion death good, PP bad.

It's they're both bad but one is objectively worse than the other. And the one that's worse is largely being ignored in favor of ginning up outrageous outrage about the lesser evil.
