I kind of understand Stewart's reaction -- it is, in fact, annoying to be accused of bad motives (racism has in fact been defined as the worst possible motive in existence) over things that are, or at least seem, harmless, and without harmful intent.
On the other hand, this jackass is, like Seth Rogen, a reliable cheerleader for SJW attacks so long as they're directed at other people; only when such attacks are directed at themselves do they suddenly feel that maybe this censorship-by-contrived-hypersensitivity is stultifying, anti-creativity, anti-thought and ultimately anti-human. But per the rules Jon Stewart inflicts on others: He's a g*d-damn racist.In a recent episode of WTF With Marc Maron, former Daily Show writer Wyatt Cenac recalled a moment when host Jon Stewart exploded at him in front of the entire late night show's staff. It all pertained to Stewart’s imitation of 2012 Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain; an impersonation that just went too far for Cenac. At the time prior to the 2012 presidential election, Cenac was the only black writer and found Stewar'’s knock on Cain coming from "kind of an ignorant place." Fox News was already on Stewart’s case over the offensive impression. In response, Stewart was planning a segment entitled "everything I do is racist." When Cenac heard this, he raised his objection over the whole bit in an email to the Daily Show staff. ... When Cenac emphasized his reservations again during a writers meeting, Stewart blew his lid: "He got incredibly defensive. I remember he was like, 'What are you trying to say? There’s a tone in your voice.' I was like, 'There’s no tone. It bothered me.' … And then he got upset. He stood up and he was just like, 'Fuck off. I'm done with you.' And he just started screaming that to me, and he screamed it a few times. ... '‘Fuck off! I'm done with you.' And he stormed out. I didn’t know if I had been fired," remembered Cenac.Even when progressives aren't actively pushing for censorship, they at the very least claim that we must have a Dialogue about Important Matters of Race and put aside our own biases and assumptions -- for white people, I mean; we must set aside our White Privilege -- and really listen to oft-silenced voices and really try to understand how the world looks not through our own privileged white eyes, but through the eyes of a minority in a decidedly non-dominant social position. And what happens when Jon Stewart, the Tribune of the Leftist Soul, Highest Avatar of Leftist Media Smart Power, gets precisely the chance to do just that, to put to practice what is so often preached? Well, he yells at his only black writer with such vehemence that the man believes he might have just been fired. (I think he was off the show the following year.) F*** you, Jon Stewart. You're a hypocrite, a liar, and -- by your own rules -- an unrepentant racist who not only won't check his privilege, but who uses his privilege to silence any black voices who dissent against you.

Google Earth shows the truth. Large parts of the border between DR and Haiti show a definite difference between the two countries. The DR side will be green, lush and beautiful from the aerial photos. The Haitian side looks like desert, only an arm's reach away over the chain link fence at the border.

He's probably been experiencing something like a re education camp lately to prepare him.

I can't see why anyone would leave. I have had a strong desire to go live along the Florida coast for a long time, probably in the Keys, and keep getting stuck on the fact that here the cost of living is low, regulations are comparably low to everywhere else, it's beautiful here, and that really, the only thing Florida (or any other state could offer, really) can offer that is not in TX is the Keys.

Its too bad that lawyers aren't tougher on that type, because they really do make the whole profession look bad. The guy who thinks his job is to win cases instead of fight for justice and make sure their client is not abused by the system is a blight on us all.
But then, there are guys like that in every profession; the scientist who cries wolf for attention and funding, the artist who creates emotionally compelling crap for the same reason, on and on. People who trash their own profession and should be drummed out by the rest.

Yeah I have been to Florida. And it was right after a hurricane, so not as hot and miserable. It was still hot and misrable, and all the Floridians were glowing: isn't this weather great? Yeah, on Mercury it would be. Flat, ugly scenery, just not a very attractive place.
But then, its not fair to compare. I come from God's country up here in Oregon.

Although I was in Seadrift TX, and Port Lavaca TX a couple weeks ago, I didn't make it out across the bay to the Island. South Padre is nice, but I haven't spent much time there. Overall, TX beaches are not the white sand type of tropical experience that are pictured in all the stuff I've read about the keys. I'm sure there are really nice places, I just haven't seen much of them here. Galveston is touristy, and it's really just dunes, and then the ocean. It's okay, not complaining, I just don't think TX coastline matches up all that well (with regard to aesthetics) as other places.

That's what its become. But a lawyer is just a specialist who helps you in a task. The law is too complex and huge for any person with any sort of other life to learn to do well, so they hire a lawyer. Like hiring a doctor or a mechanic; its someone who knows how to do this better and represents you in the job.
The defense lawyer's job is to make sure the system doesn't steamroll their client and to make sure they get a proper legal defense. Its not to win. Its to fight for justice. But I don't know if any of them even learn that in school any more.

Well, the deer tend to be kind of small unless you are hunting on a managed game ranch that prevent's over-grazing. But you can still get a nice rack, and to compensate for their small size you can shoot up to 5 of them per year. But you can shoot as many Axis deer as you want, or any other exotic that runs free, at any time of year at all.
Regarding the fishing, the fishermen that I know don't even really bother with freshwater fishing, they head straight to the coast. And the fishing is good.

300 pounds is really huge for a deer, even a mule deer. That's up into elk range
