The IRS once again proves that the only thing it does well is use the tax law to harass people who are enemies of Obama. Hackers have breached IRS security to steal information on 100,000 people. They are offering up a wad of excuses here about use of personal information they already had to breach security but given the latest record of the corrupt IRS I do not believe a word of it.

In case you morning Morons missed it yesterday afternoon Obama lost his appeal on the halt to his illegal amnesty program. Most of us said it would make no difference because he is already violating the injunction and will not stop. There are only two things that will stop Obama on this;
Impeach his crooked ass is the best bet but that will not happen. It is off the table for the RNCe and the equally corrupt Democrats in congress will not support it. The originating judge can charge the head of the DHS with contempt of court and hold him in jail until they commence enforcing the law. And yes, he can do that without going through the corrupt DOJ. He can direct federal marshals on his own authority. But that is not likely to happen either. When it came to light that the DHS lawyers had been lying to the court and violating the order he did nothing then so he is not likely to do anything now. Note that failure to follow the court order to halt the amnesty would be civil contempt and have no time limit on how long the jail term can go. Perjury in court would be criminal contempt and be limited to a max of 5 years and would apply to the DHS lawyers or who ever gave them the lying data as truth. http://fxn.ws/1KxVa5W Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at May 27, 2015 06:13 AM (GpgJl) Posted by: J.J. 6 students and one other have been charged with releasing 72,000 lady bugs into a MD High School. I'm sure that they thought this was a cool prank but this will likely cost a shit-ton of money to get rid of these things. If they charged and convicted, as the costs warrant, this would be a felony.

How would you like the new "reasonably priced" Shelby GT350 starting at a "reasonable" $50,000? It has a 500HP 5.2L V8 in it but if they do it like the hot F-150 that a friend of mine had the electronic ignition will have a speed limiter in it to prevent it from going over 120MPH. Of course my friend bought an after-market ignition to replace it and took it up to 140. I don't think I would want to be in an F-150 doing 140.

Another one some may have missed yesterday. A Marine corporal was court-martialed and given a BCD for refusing to remove a bible verse from her computer. There was a lot of debate on this yesterday afternoon. In my opinion she should have removed the verse when ordered to do so and then took it up the chain of command. Second, she should not have acted as her own attorney. But one wonders if she had placed some kind of muzzie verse from the Koran on there if she would have got the same flack.
I have been placed in a similar position, which I can not give the details on but in general it goes like this. I received a call to perform a certain alignment in an auxiliary space and perform an evolution that would have been dangerous and possible hazard to the ship. I refused to do so and tried to explain it to the officer. He refused to listen. I had to get another senior PO to go outside the division to a more senior officer to explain the situation so he could counsel the erring officer. Things were settled after that, no charges made. BTW anyone receiving a BCD forfeits just about all service related benefits from the VA and other government entities. http://bit.ly/1SBwYBX Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at May 27, 2015 06:17 AM (GpgJl) 31

Even the Secret Service is getting into the civil asset forfeiture business. They seized the $115,000 bank account of a NC man's business because he reportedly violated "structural laws" that prohibit multiple deposits of near the $10,000 "limit". The man was never charged with any crime (because what he did is not a crime) and a court has ordered the SS to give his money back. But they refuse to compensate him for legal costs of $25K which is very reasonable in a case like this.
Personally I would like to see a federal law that would call for charging any agency head or lower official who approves civil asset forfeiture in cases where no convictions have been made. The charge of theft or grand theft at a felony level should be the minimum charge. http://dailysign.al/1Knj3tJ Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at May 27, 2015 06:19 AM (GpgJl) Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at May 27, 2015 06:19 AM (GpgJl) 41

Levin makes a sobering point. We cheer when a court makes the right decision, but these kind of things should be routine. Look at Obamacare and Arizona, not to mention the scores of lousy decisions at every level. When we cheer for someone or something doing the rare right thing, it really is rather sobering. According to leading Climate Scientists, it apparently never even rained in Texas until last weekend.
Well according to these phony "scientists" the earth is still warming. In fact, we have been cooling since 1998. NOAA shows it leveling out but that is only after they fiddle with the numbers. The most resent arguments are either climate change or climate chaos which hasn't really caught on yet. Let us not forget that the original argument was global warming. Even some conservative accept the climate change mantra but want to argue that man has caused little or no part of it. If we are going to concede "climate change" then we need to remind the other pundits that the original argument was global warming with catastrophic results. True we have climate change. We have been having it for millions of years according to the fossil records. Long before "man" and his machines ever arrived on planet earth. And that there is a LOT of data that is being ignored that show that CO2 has had little or no impact at all on this so called climate change. Morning, 'rons and 'ronettes. Thanks for the news, Vic.
In his younger days, the producer and PR man Mike Mindlin happened to look a lot like the songwriter Burt Bacharach. At one charity dinner he was attending in Los Angeles, Zsa Zsa Gabor - whom Mindlin had never met - came over to him and said, "Give me a big kiss, darling." So Mindlin kissed her and, for good measure, gave her ass a healthy squeeze. "Who do you think I am?" he asked when the kiss was finished. "Why, you're Burt Bacharach, darl - oh, no. . ." she said, starting to giggle. "you're not!" To her credit, she was very good humored about it. Some time after that, Mindlin was introduced to Bacharach and told him the story, mentioning how often that had happened. Bacharach didn't respond; he just looked blankly at Mindlin, who went on, "You mean to tell me a lot of people don't come up to you and ask if you aren't Mike Mindlin?" Here's Zsa Zsa and her legs: http://goo.gl/wu4wes Hope you all have a wonderful day. Posted by: Mary Poppins' Practically Perfect Piercing at May 27, 2015 06:43 AM (zF6Iw) 61

The IRS hack is actually pretty amazing. To get the returns, the hackers ostensibly needed to know each individual Name, Street Address, SSN, DOB and Filing Status before they could access the returns. For 100,000 individuals!
Given that level of detail it seems wildly unlikely to me. This story has another shoe to drop, because the hackers must have found another way in, given all the information the IRS is claiming they supposedly needed to break through. Posted by: MTF at May 27, 2015 06:43 AM (TcePY) 63

We had a Horsey 100 Bicycle event this weekend here in Kentucky and a one of the riders was hit and killed by a drunk driver that said he had just gotten off from work. Oh and he had an aggravated DUI incident two years ago and faced a deportation hearing but got to stay for reasons that aren't clear in any article I can find.
His family said it was the cyclists fault for riding on the road even though Odilon Paz-Salvador drank 6 beers and smoked a joint right after work before he hit and killed the guy. Apparently the cyclist was alive and stuck to the guys truck for some time after the collision. I cant find anything in regards to his immigration status so he may be legal as we do have a very large Mexican community here that works with the Horse farms so he could be legal. But I suspect he may be an illegal just because articles like this usually refer to their immigration status if they are legal, and all of the articles I can find are mute on his status. Ok here's s happy fantasy.
Knowing how thin skinned our dear leader is, how much will it take for Bill and Hilary to irritate him to the point he doesn't just sabotage her campaign but he puts them out of business? For the IRS, Clinton Inc looks like a target rich environment. Not that Obama would ever use the IRS to go after his political enemies. I think there's fair argument to be made that Obama doesn't want anyone to succeed him who would be judged as more successful than Himself. Obviously no Republican could ever match his stellar leadership. But does he really want to see the Clintons back in the White House? Bill's comment 8 years ago that "back in the Sixties, he would be bringing us coffee" must still sting. Posted by: Jim in Virginia at May 27, 2015 07:59 AM (iDtMD) 159

What is the minimum rank for a Democrat to hold before they get a "Get out of Jail Free" card? We know that Democrats in the House of Representatives have one - see tax scofflaw Charlie Rangel. Here in Texas the Democratic DA in Austin did get arrested for DUI, after blowing a .249. But in retaliation a special prosecutor talked a grand jury into indicting Rick Perry with two felonies for cutting off funds to her unit - which is supposed to monitor political ethics violations statewide - by vetoing the appropriation for it. There does seem to be a slight bit of concern that less then 100 people were able to seal off five major entry points into the city of Baltimore yesterday.
About the only thing left was seal off I-83 southbound coming from north of the city, and you have effectively sealed off probably close to 80% of the ingress/egress capability of the entire area. Not to mention that -95 itself flows directly through the city connecting the northern half of the Northeast metroplex/megacity with the southern half. And more threats by the good Reverend that civil unrest will continue in more intrusive manners. And yes, people were prevented from reaching medical facilities by these actions. Gonna be a hot summer in the city.
