Another Much-Hyped Rape Claim Proves False

Or at least there is insufficient evidence to bring charges.

What is more dangerous -- "Rape culture," or "rape culture" culture? That is, the witch-hunting, lunatic sexual paranoia about the existence of a so-called "rape culture"?

The victims of "rape culture" culture are starting to pile up.

A high-profile LAPD raid on Venice High School that made international headlines after 15 male students were arrested on charges of sexual assault has resulted in prosecutors' decision not to prosecute anyone in the case.

The large number of students arrested in mid-March and the high number of law enforcement personnel that descended on the school’s campus and led students away in handcuffs drew widespread attention on the case. But now, over two months later, prosecutors with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office cited "insufficient evidence" as the reason that no charges would be pursued, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Teenaged girls are famously sober and reserved in their judgment.

13 It's a classic left-wing shakedown.

1. Feminists declare that 'rape culture' is a thing.
2. Feminists dumb down the definition of 'rape' to prove 'rape culture' is a thing.
3. Feminists demand universities, governments, businesses create special offices and staff to employ otherwise unemployable Gender Studies graduates combat rape culture.
4. Feminists demand Government grants to study the phenomenon of 'Rape Culture.'
5. Feminists start 'consulting companies' to advise corporations how to combat 'rape culture'
6. Feminists sue to force companies to hire 'rape culture' consultants.
7. Feminists attack anyone who questions their scam as "pro-rape."

Rape culture is a shakedown scheme.

This enrages me on the part of the female victims of rape who will have a harder time being believed and the male victims of a witchhunt prosecution who will have their lives upended, sometimes destroyed, because of liars.

There was another case I saw over the weekend where it was pretty much definitively proven that the woman lied and buried in the article is she will not be charged with filing a false report.

That drives me craz(ier)y. Prosecute the hell out of these women.

I've mentioned before that I expect to see college athletes being accused of rape and/or domestic violence right before a big game and the school being forced to suspend the person and then 11 months later oh no she's lying. 93 Another infuriating aspect of this so-called "rape culture" hysteria is that it ONLY goes one way. Women who cry rape are ALWAYS to be believed. All men are ALWAYS a step away from committing rape. There is NO gray area, and anything viewed as making light of "rape culture" is anathema.

But what about male victims of rape? Where do they fit into the spectrum?

Oh, they get laughed at and mocked. Like that man in South Africa who was allegedly kidnapped by three women and raped for his sperm. Was it true? I honestly don't know; it certainly sounds odd enough to be an urban legend. But in the eyes of Twitter feminists, it was LMAO HILARIOUS.

So much for believing every rape claim! So much for taking "rape culture" seriously! When the victim has a Y-chromosome, none of that matters. It's his fault for being a member of the filthy patriarchy. He had it coming.

101 Just as imperialism got a bad name from people who don't understand human nature and geopolitics, rape has been unfairly turned into something bad.

For thousands of years, conquering forces used rape as a symbolic gesture of dominance over the losing nation. Offspring of the rapes brought features of the winners to the population, thus melding the cultures producing less chance of further conflict.

As the Iraqi army shows, some cultures are submissive and meant to be used by the more powerful. Rape cements the power structure in the minds of the losers.

Let's not run down an age-old tradition just because a few college lesbians disagree with it.

Giles Corey. I socked him earlier.

Funny thing: apparently by the laws then, if you entered a plea of guilty, you'd be allow to perform penance and live, but you'd lose all your land. If you entered a plea of not guilty and were found guilty, you'd be hanged and lose all your land (that is: your survivors would lose it).

A vanishingly small percentage of people who plead "not guilty" were found not guilty. Strange, huh?

Thus what Giles Corey did was to allow his wife and children to keep his farm. By refusing to enter a plea, they couldn't have a trial, and he couldn't be stripped of his property.

113 And I will always remember one incident from the Salem With Trials. One of the girls tried to recant her testimony to an elder and his reply was quite withering. "Are you lying now or were you lying then?"

This is pretty much the only thing that has me hesitant about going after some of the false accusers. I mean, if they are found out to be lying, sure. But if they recant voluntarily it's a little more difficult because we WANT them to recant if they were lying. We shouldn't put obstacles in the way of that. So I'm not sure the best answer for that.

Of course, if we would just prosecute normally, look for actual evidence, etc before doing anything to the accused that would help. I find any rape accusations that come months later suspect, personally. (unless there is a damn good reason for the delay).

But that's our 21st century. The author M. T. Anderson has written a book titled "Feed," a science-fiction love story set in a near future and told in the voice of a 16-year old boy.

In "Feed," the government outfits every single citizen child, at the age when speech begins, with an implant that, in effect, connects one's mind to the web. Yes, like banner ads, presidential speeches, texting (but with thought, no typing needed), virtual reality nightclubs, and much more.

And everyone is a Twitter moron. The president begins his sentences with "Dude, . . . "

A wonderful read, and quite prescient.

See my comment above.

Basically you could "confess" and be given penance (often in the form of jail time) and *also* lose all your property.

You could enter a plea (remember, these were legal proceedings) of not guilty. In that case, there would be a trial (which you were almost sure to lose) in which case you'd be hanged as witch and *also* lose all your property (that is: your survivors would lose it).

You could refuse to enter a plea, in which case they would attempt to force one from you. They used a procedure called "pressing" on Giles Corey- they laid paving stones on his chest until it crushed him to death.

If you died before you entered a plea *then* (since there was no conviction) your family was at least protected and got to keep your property.

Nice incentive, huh?

That's the problem. That's what Sherry and Lea and me and every other sane person has been saying. This is where all these high profile rape hoaxes have led us. Now, whenever a high profile rape case makes the headlines, we have become PRECONDITIONED to NOT believe it.

The filthy whores like Jackie at UVA, Emma Sulkingwitch at Columbia, Lena "I guess I was raped by some guy in college but I don't want to say who" Dunham at Oberlin, Crystal "Crazy Bitch" Mangum at Duke... They've all been held up as exemplars of "rape culture," and every last one of them has either been PROVEN false or has been so discredited as to be laughable. And in their quest to find the EPITOME of All Men Are Evil, All Women Are Saints, the proponents of "rape culture" have managed to make it harder for genuine victims to come forward and seek justice, especially in hazy situations where so much of the evidence is going to be he said/she said.

Were these high school girls actually raped? Did they have sex and just regret it later? Or was this all an elaborate scheme to get back at some boy who'd made one of the girls angry? Who knows? But thanks to the feminazi hellbeasts who have politicized RAPE, it is our immediate reaction to say "lack of prosecution" = "innocence."

Fcuk them all to hell, where they can ride Satan's barbed cock for eternity for what they've done to real victims, and for the justice that won't be meted out to REAL villains as a result.

I'd bet my life on it. It's SOP for Red agitators: make a cause around someone who is very obviously guilty (or, alternatively, not guilty), and use the cause as a vehicle for agitation. Then they're in a no-lose situation: if the authorities play ball, then "the people" have exercised their power, and the Reds gain stature. If the authorities don't play ball, they're frustrating the will of "the people," and more demonstrations and agitation are in order.

Each feminist argued from the given position that all campus rape charges are true, they are pandemic and the fact that some are not followed by indictments is seriously damaging society. I didn't hear any of them question whether there can even be false charges. So rather than question whether the DA should be punished for hauling off kids in cuffs the feminists want to double down. They want to circumvent the legal process in favor of the justice of the month. After the '16 elections it will be some new diktat requiring men that have already procreated to be castrated or something.

I don't know whether he was trying to be funny, be a dick, is mentally imbalanced, but what he was saying is actually historically accurate. The three or four thousand years of recorded human history has just been one long timeline of weaker, less populous or aged/older societies/peoples/cultures being murdered, raped, enslaved, etc. by more stronger, more populous and younger societies/peoples/cultures.

And right now in North America we are on the precipice of being in the former camp to which virtually all the rest of the developed first-world belongs. Guess which societies are in the latter camp: Muslims, sub-Saharan Africans and East Indians. I'd rather be conquered by the Indians than Muslims or sub-Saharan Africans since I find East Indian women to be the most attractive. But that's just a personal preference.

258 "Rape culture" was not a term coined by feminists. It was coined by a sociologist (or some other made-up science) investigating how often rape occurs in prison. He found that there was a culture where rape was accepted and used as a tool for dominance. And the guards, the ones who were supposed to be making sure the prisoners weren't, inter alia, raping and murdering each other, looked the other way.

Wealthy white upper-class feminists, looking for something to whine about while actual rapes were decreasing, grabbed on to the concept of rape culture and have been using it to bludgeon anyone they can find with it.

Rape culture continues to exist in prison and Muslim nations (like the UK). Rape culture does not exist in the real (western) world and college campuses.

I have heard about India's problem with rape and gender violence though in a tourism class I took a year ago in university. Apparently a lot of foreign women and not just Indian women are raped.

My mother also knows of a Korean-Canadian couple who now live in India. The husband works there and the mother and all the other women at this special expat community cannot go outside their little compound for fear of suffering verbal or even physical assault. And that's near Delhi so it's kind of surprising that that kind of stuff goes on even in the large urban centers.

But what about all of those boys who are being preyed upon by their young female teachers? I know the response is (jokingly) "way to go, dude!" but they are being abused by adults who should not be sexualizing them in the classroom.

337 OT: AP loves them some ISIS:

The honeymoon was a brief moment for love, away from the front lines of Syria's war. In the capital of the Islamic State group's self-proclaimed "caliphate," Syrian fighter Abu Bilal al-Homsi was united with his Tunisian bride for the first time after months chatting online. They married, then passed the days dining on grilled meats in Raqqa's restaurants, strolling along the Euphrates River and eating ice cream.

It was all made possible by the marriage bonus he received from the Islamic State group: $1,500 for him and his wife to get started on a new home, a family - and a honeymoon.

She had no one around her tostop the lies and make her do the right thing. God only knows how much money the family was promised by Rev. Fatass. I wouldn't say that she has been let of the hook - she is a nurse's aide barely scraping by. In 2013, her wages started to be garnished to pay back the settlement that was awarded to one of the men she had accused of rape. Reports say that Sharpton had his share paid off by supporters in 2001.That fact that Sharpton is allowed anywhere near a microphone let alone the White House is a crime.

438 Navy Secretary Ray Mabus wants more female Marines in the Corps, a goal the services recruiting command say they were working toward before the call to action.

Mabus announced a plan to boost the sea services enlisted female recruitment efforts to at least 25 percent of all accessions during a mid-May speech at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. The move, he said, will help attract, recruit and retain women in communities in which they are underrepresented.

Because? What a load of crap
I see the female Marines all the time. I see them train in Parris Island and they are A-OK in my book, HOWEVER, a Force like the US Marines are a FIGHTING Force and you take who you need NOT by some G-D damn progressive quota.

Exactly. If a woman can keep up with the physical requirements of being a Marine, she should be able to be a Marine.

If you have to lower the requirements so that a woman can meet them then she can't keep up with the physical requirements.

50 - 100 lb of kit doesn't care if you're man or woman, it weighs 50 - 100 lb and has to be carried.
