Page Six: Chelsea Clinton Nearly As Loathsome as Her Vile Mother, Former Foundation for Clintons Insiders Aver

Page Six.

Chelsea Clinton is so unpleasant to colleagues, she’s causing high turnover at the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, sources say.

Several top staffers have left the foundation since Chelsea came on board as vice chairman in 2011.

"A lot of people left because she was there. A lot of people left because she didn't want them there," an insider told me. "She is very difficult."

Onetime CEO Bruce Lindsey was pushed upstairs to the position of chairman of the board two years ago, so that Chelsea could bring in her McKinsey colleague Eric Braverman.

..

Chelsea has embraced all the trappings of a corporate CEO, with a personal staff almost as big as her father's. "He has six. She has five," said my source.

Progressives and the media (but I repeat myself) keep suggesting that donations to the Foundation for Clintons weren't direct payoffs to the Clinton.

That's a lie. The Foundation for Clintons apparently pays for five or six man personal staff teams -- that's something like a $200,000 to $500,000 emolument for years.

Imagine this hypothetical: A charity wants to bring you aboard, part-time, as an officer. They say they can't pay you a salary. However, they will provide you with a personal staff of five people, pay for a car and a chauffeur, and pay for first-class travel all over the world as their corporate emissary.

In addition, you'd have a swank office at their headquarters. Corner office, 1000 square feet. A little secret sleeping room for when you just want to nap.

Would you say that there was no personal financial inducement in that offer?

8 There's also a bit in there about how Chelsea brought over a guy so was supposed to be "her guy" in the organization.

Being an idiot, he assumed that he was supposed to run a charity so, get this, that's what he tried to do. He didn't realize that wasn't his role and he was got gone.

I want to know if he started asking uncomfortable questions about the "charity" finances.

Let's face it, SJWs, you were cool with it as a non-rapey-rape PIV and sadomasochism platform, so the high ground on which you believe you stand looks a lot like a miasmatic bog to the rest of us.

208 Some of the Politico attempts to explain the Clinton Crime Family to Democrats makes for just great reading. Take the article on Eric Braverman being forced out, for example. Almost every single paragraph has a labored quality, like it went through some special Clinton Defense Review Committee before being published. Many paragraphs are internally contradictory, most especially when it talks about Chelsea.

People were instructed not to speak directly to her.

Yeah, I'm thinking not talking directly to her is a positive actually.

As for her producer/ "handler" I wonder what kinds of meds she had to take to put up with princess Chelsea.

Here is a bit about Bill White the administrator:

He had been connected to former state comptroller Alan G. Hevesi who resigned after pleading guilty to a felony charge."

Interesting take. Let's see: Forced marriage, to the guy whose family killed your family, facilitated by the pr*ck who orchestrates double-crossings like he's fixing breakfast, completely alone in the world... and the guy rips your clothes off as he's threatening to beat the living sh*t out of you for not taking them off fast enough, so he can bugger you up your squeakhole, or whatever else he's doing.

I'm sure it's not, but this is a case where the show changed a book

worse. Plus, they cut all the cool stuff from the book.

I think our commenter is poorly articulation that in the medieval like setting of GoTs there really wasn't a notion of "spousal rape."

But then the medieval period had a lot of other remarkably bad moral norms, so I'm not really sure I'd hang my hat on that argument.

Having said that, art isn't supposed to be happy-fun-optimism all the time either, so I'm not sure I understand the outcry that GoTs involved a scene where someone did some pretty awful stuff.

What's disturbing is I'm simply not seeing enough of this show up in the polling. I think no matter what is revealed, Hillary has 48% of the vote in the bank, so you almost have to run a perfect candidate and campaign to beat her.

I'm sure some of this is a result of 95% of the population not really paying attention, but it's still not comforting.

When corruption is so out of hand for a Democrat that the New York Times is taking the lead on exposing it, it's really beyond business as usual.

Well they are now trying to sell the latest incursion into ISIS territory as justice for Kayla Mueller which is kind of sickening because earlier reports said that they had earlier opportunities to actually rescue her but Obama was too slow to approve it. That indecision is a recurrent technique of his, It is one Stanley McChrystal revealed early on when he had to surprise Obama on a Tarmac overseas to even get a meeting with him and a decision on what to do in Afghanistan before winter.

At least justice for Kayla is the story, doesn't seem to ring right, and actually if it's the real reason it isn't very sound.

Another dangerous thing is getting emotionally attached to the fate of a *fictional* character. If the writer is doing a good job you should end up caring about the characters while the story is going on, but carrying on about something that is make-believe after the credits roll?

No, I'm not mixing anything up with Jeopardy - in Wheel of Fortune (the right name of the show?) there is a phrase you have to guess, after some of the letter have been revealed, and under the phrase is a kinda clue as to what it is.

I think the biggest problem people are having with HBO and GoT is how far they have moved away from the story in the book. I don't mind too much with taking artist license with a story, but when your in a comply different zip zone from the book I have problems with your writing.

Posted by: wrg500 at May 19, 2015 03:46 PM (S+el1)

480 And GoT is........?

Duno, do watch it, but from the description

First it would be palace intrigue, and there is a morality play there, and foreign policy intrigue, and the subject is the off screen rape and whether or not the SJW are inflamed.

So, like 1984 was presented as a warning and it turns out to be an instruction manual. So GoT isn't necessarily a warning, but something like sim city for politics? Like Lotus 1-2-3 was a spreadsheet for financials, GoT is a What IF for political activists?

I expect that Moochelle would whinge, and Hildabeast would be too hoity-toity to engage in conversation at all. So: Hildabeast.

Despite everything else she has going against her, Hillary does have

The Hildabeast does love to drink and get her party on. So, yeah. I'd go with her.

Don't watch GoT much, but as for the "it's not real" canard. There are a lot of powerful films and books that people read and are involved in that are "not real". The point ofgetting drawn into a fictional world and the woes and wins of a fictional character is not that one doesn't have any connection with reality, but that good art, good fiction, good television and movies, have something to say about the human condition. In essence, as BurTC and others have said, it involves a morality play, and a good morality play should have you care about the characters.

Storytelling for a long time was a significantsource of the transmission of day to day morals and values in cultures (see Aesop's fables or the Brothers Grimm). Or even literatureschool books from times past that would ask the reader "What would you do in this situation? Waswhat X did right? Why or why not?" which is why the increase innihilism in stories is so disturbing.

The Greyjoy and Dorne stories are obviously filler and always have been. They don't move the primary narrative along. At. All. GRRM just wanted to "explore the world". Which is why I suspect that a big part of the next book is going to take place in the Summer Isles, because that's pretty much the only part of the known GoT world that he HASN'T written about.

Unless you have daughters you have no idea how popular that Pretty In Pink flix was. And not just with teens. Pretty In Pink slumber parties were a thank for years in my household. A bunch of girls starting at age 8 and beyond, video rental, and hours of giggles. And, yes, they preferred McCarthy.

Ha. Yes, you missed a few. They changed the books. This did not happen to Sansa in the books.

I think this is a bit blown up because you have SJW's who are still mad about nudity and Roz and the Cersei/Jaime thing last year and this....and then you have people who read the books and are pissed because the books story was better...and then probably there is a category of neither who just don't enjoy because Ramsey makes their skin crawl or because it's boring or they don't want it to happen to a stark. So it's a bunch of people who are irritated for different reasons but ultimately all hate this plotline.

Aye, but the whole point of that poem was "The Gods of the Copybook Headings" always show up so you should act accordingly. It wasn't "The Gods of the Copybook Headings" show up and you can do nothing about it. Kipling's poem mocked the folly of a new morality that brought trouble because it acted in defiance (the direct opposite) of a moral code that was meant to help you live a virtuous life in the real world.

Lemme know when the one of the 3 major networks does a hit piece on her, and ends with saying Hillary was invited to give her side of the story and declined (so we're going with the lies we have) and I may get interested.
To me, this is just so when the GOP field narrows and the MSM knows who to focus on, Hellary and the MSM in tandem can claim VRWC and dismiss all this as old news.

Apply a Blue Ice (or similar) pack to the compression bandage for at least 11 minutes. 10 minutes is not quite enough. 12 minutes is a useful limit, as more does not help. Wait 48 minutes, repeat.

628 "word on the street is that corporate directors are paid large piles of spondulix for their occasional meetings. I've heard they make far more for their 'efforts' than many white-collar executive-types."

The average board salary for major companies is a quarter mil. Non-profits salaries are typically considerably lower, and often are gratis, but the other boards that Chelsea sits on are not all non-profits, and of course they can benefit in numerous ways from Clinton connections.

For example, she sits on the board of a media conglomerate that runs Newsweek, Daily Beast, and others, and gets paid $50,000 for wielding this influence. Who knows how many boards she sits on now. It could be dozen, where she probably just mails in the votes that her political handlers tell her to make.

Posted by: Alec Rawls at May 19, 2015 04:49 PM (kTTUz)

629
Would you say that there was no personal financial inducement in that offer?

That's a very tempting offer, but...wait...I can leverage sitting on that board to sitting on the board of directors for some Wall Street firm. And that does bring a pay check with it. And if I can sit on one of them, I'll get invited to sit on others.

Why yes, yes I will sit on the Ace of Spades HQ Board of Directors. What? no personal staff? no corner office? no free Val-U-Rite? what sort of outrage is this?

Posted by: righter at May 19, 2015 06:34 PM (RhAFW)

633 My guess is the "insider" is Hillary Clinton. The article claims that the high turnover rate is why the foundation turned into a slush fund, never mind that it was designed to be a slush fund to begin with. Making it sound like Chelsea Clinton indirectly caused the eventual "change" to a slush fund would give mom some breathing room. It's not like she's never thrown anybody under a bus before.
