Correct, which means they are leaving probably the most adult of the early era storylines on the floor....

yes they can have everyone be gay, but they can't cope with a deeply flawed, yet totally selfless in crisis man's rise, fall, and run to the middle equilibrium of redemption....

it's kind of sad IMHO b/c technology would finally allow them to run tyhe full slate of Pym's power in FX w/out looking stupid.

Well Ant-Man is always stupid, but Pym was a mentally unstable guy even in the classic tellings and THAT *is* the cause of Ultron's insanity.

Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Goliath and then finally Yellow Jacket and then "Pym."

He aided Reed Richards on the development of unstable molecules(why their costumes don't go WHEE) and mastered shrinking/growth but couldn't master the darker angels of his nature....

compelling shit...let's focus instead on Black Widow(always a slut) being called a slut.

"Pretty large"??? You are looking through the wrong end of the telescope.

The Milky Way is approximately 120,000 light years in diameter. If you were able to project a map of it on a wall in a large room, you still wouldn't even be able to see this tiny little 160 ly sphere of space.

I'm just estimating, but in that volume of space you probably don't have more than 1,000 stars, out of 100 to 400 BILLION stars in the galaxy.

Ok, story time. Stick with me.

I played baseball all the way through college. Scholarship. I was pretty good. Fortunate enough to be an All American my senior year and got a lot of local press in the paper.

Big front sports page article.

Next game I start, my then fiancé now wife is obv at the game. She's sitting with several of the other WAGs. Suddenly, she and a friend notice that the two girls in front of them are talking about me.

They're arguing about who's going to land me, who's going to fuck me that night.

"Well I've got the bigger tits. I bet he likes my tits better."

"Yeah, well, you know I've got the better ass. I bet he goes for my ass over your tits."

And it gets more "descriptive" from there.

My wife is kind of laughing. Finally another WAG leans over, "Excuse me, did you actually read the entire article that was in the paper?"

*dismissive* "Well, no."

"Ok. Cause if you had, you would know that he's engaged. To her." *points to my wife*

*wife wiggles fingers hello* *which includes 2 carat engagement ring*

"Hi. If you must know....he's an ass man."

Eh, no one is forcing anything on you. Feel free to continue to like flat butts. Just I refuse to acknowledge that Iggy Azalea is something other than a white woman parodying black female rappers.

And there's a difference between a big butt and a wide spreading one.

Being African, I used to wonder why white women used to be scared their outfits would make their butts look big, when where I'm from, that would be a good thing. But body shapes differ among races and so behinds expand differently.

I found it hilarious when my Taiwanese friend said when she first moved here she was amazed at how large white women's behinds were, while black people are all thinking white women don't have butts.

It's nice that God made us so varied. Makes life interesting.

My Taiwanese friend is 5'5" or 5'6" and probably a size 4-6 and she says when she goes back to Taiwan, she's like a giant there. She also happened to be bustier than I was before I put on the weight. (She may still be, I'm not super well endowed up top but amply provided for in the posterior region.)

But she still has no butt, lol. She's the one that told me she was surprised by all the big (white) butts in America.

SJWs call it "cultural appropriation", because being influences by other cutlures is even when White people do it because "colonialsim", but when others are influenced by the myriad "White" cultures, it's the White peoples fault for forcing it on them.

But at the same time, I don't want to wear a baggy sack. Something neither tight nor too loose, something nicely fitted would be good - but I can't find that!

612 Could just be an early test-shot, but again, the new one is a remake of a remake of a remake of a comic that's had 100 incarnations. Further if the new movie turns out to suck royal testes, it's Ben Afflack's fault. Nickolson's Joker worked perfectly in the Burton framing.

616 I live on the top floor in my apt building.

When my neighbors get a little...loud...I commence to put on a pair of my old combat boots, crank up my theater speakers to blast Let The Bodies Hit The Floor...and funnily enough, there's silence from below.

Plus, they see me with my DV hat on a regular basis, so it doesn't happen all that often.

When they first moved in, the first two nights they got on the balconies and were talking at a level that would be accepted at a bar....during happy hour.....at 11PM and later. Someone yelled out the window "You're all rude as fuck!" they proceeded to not do that again at least....

622 Well Horde, I'm drinking tonight, and with a purpose.

That purpose is to assist with pain relief.

See, I was on a jobsite this morning, and broke the ever loving fcuk out of my right foot.

A. Gain.

Two years ago, it snapped from pressure on the brake pedal in a minor traffic accident. Lisfranc Fracture, was the actual diagnosis. Option was to re break it and have a screw put in.

If only I had the cash to have done so.

So today, the foot not being 100% full strength, it rolled under while walking on uneven ground.

Tried to keep my footing, and then I felt it go "POP!", and down I went.

Not the same break, not even the same area of the foot. This one is bad, too. I can walk, but I don't enjoy the process.

Rather epic swelling. And I can't get in to see the doctor till Tuesday, at the soonest. No need to spend E.R. money, they can't do a damn thing.

I'm going to have to sell a metric shit ton of roofs, and soon. Surgery and time off work for recovery, ain't gonna be cheap.

So, drinking. And this time, damn proud of it.

Bartender, another!

628 Have to disagree. I'm not a rap fan, but some rap can be quite artistic, even if you don't want to call it music. (Some of the background music can be catchy too.)

I've found that Christian rappers tend to have really good and deep lyrics vs other styles of modern Christian music.

Posted by: chique d'afrique (the artist formerly known as african chick) at April 25, 2015 12:17 AM (shFKH)

The background music is often taken from real artists. Rap tends to be choppy and the rapping is no different from modern "slam poetry".

Metal also tends to be more worldly music with great groups popping up all around the world.

634 "Some outfits and occasions simply require heels but you can be sure I have some flats lying close by for when my feet start to complain. "

Very smart of you. I loved wearing high heels when I was young and wore them almost every day. I am 5'7'' and loved going from tall to very tall. I had such pretty shoes - '80's shoes, with the skinny heels and the pointy toes.

By the time I was 35 I had wrecked my feet. I can now manage kitten heels - but not all night.

My sister told me that when she was in Italy a few years back, she marveled at all the lovely young ladies managing to walk gracefully on ancient cobblestone streets in 3 -4 inch heels. Then she noticed all the little old lades hobbling down the street with canes - and realized those old ladies had been prancing down the cobblestoned streets in heels 50 years earlier.

If you're not careful, one day you find your feet will simply rebel and you suddenly can't wear heels anymore.

We recently had kick ass hailstorms in Houston. I've sold four roofs so far, need to bag about eleven or twelve more. Then I can pay for the surgery.

Add another ten roofs, and I can pay for the recovery time.

Today is the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli -- a failed campaign. And it is very easy to tally up the deaths on all the occasions when they have occurred.

But if there is something to be remembered from this day, let it be that moment Englishman and Canadians and Americans and other allies were feeling the heat....and reached out their hand in the noise and the blasts and the darkness....and met the firm grasp of a digger.

ANZAC soldiers have been our firm allies for a hundred years. Let us hope that we have been worthy of the alliance, and may both maintain it for 100 years more.
