10 Scankles has been the topic all morning and for the past several weeks. So what do we know?

1. She has never done anything worthwhile or been successful at anything.
2. She is a liar, but that is synonymous with being a Democrat.
3. She has a LOT of enemies, Obama being one of them. Which is why all this crap on her is coming out and they are covering it.
4. She accepted bribes while SOS and should be prosecuted.
5. She lied to congress which is punishable by 5 years and a $5,000 fine.
6. She is, and always has been, as crooked as a snake.

Stated earlier but worth repeating. The Clinton Scandal is totally an Obama administration Scandal.

At least 7 cabinet members and SCOAMF himself had to have known about all this and approved it. Sure, the Clintons pocketed the cash (and perhaps paid off the aforementioned as well), but everyone from Obama on down is equally guilty.

And this is why the press is focused SOLELY on the Clintons. They do NOT want this tainting SCOAMF or anyone he wants to succeed him as POTUS. Warren, O'Malley or any other hard leftist.

Sadly, I'm with you, steevy. The left = the MFM. And try as I might in looking at the headway I think the new media is making, the MFM still has far, far too much influence with the general pop. I don't want it to be so...but it is. They shape the news. They will determine who gets protected and who goes down. And the LIVs will lap it up.

You are right, but if every one of our candidates approached the MFM as Rand did- and continue to do it all the way through November of '16 - then it's a winning strategery IMHO. Throw them off message, challenge them at every turn. So what if they don't ask the D candidates anything substantive. Make them look stupid and change the narrative.

34 Got willowed so sorry for the replay (with correction by Stringer Davis):

So.

Just heard a screening of American Sniper at University of Maryland was "postponed" (really, cancelled) because of complaints from certain groups, among which is some muslim student group.

That group's complaint was that it was demeaning to muslims and would encourage islamophobia and murder.

So it dawns on me. On one hand we are continually told that AQ and ISIS are NOT Islamic - they are perverting Islam so much that they may as well be another religion. Nope, not Islamic.

But come out with a movie showing AQ/ISIS/Islamic terrorists getting Excedrin Headache #338, and suddenly we hear that it's insensitive to muslims to show that, that it encourages an anti-muslim backlash, and so on.

Well, doesn't censoring the movie on those grounds implicitly say that those islamofascists, well, ARE representative of Islam.....? I mean, how can there be offense against muslims if the people getting blown up aren't, you know, *really* muslim.....?

39 Quite possibly, immigration will be a moot point by 2016. By then, we will have been so overrun with "legal" illegals, their chain migration family members and tens of thousands of "refugees," that no politician will do jack squat about any of it. They won't risk their careers. They won't send any of these people back home. They won't take away any of their taxpayer-paid services we can't afford. The will to do anything that will ease the pressure cooker valve off of the American taxpayer and/or worker won't be there. I'm kinda pessimistic about it right now, but I predict these people and their coming votes are going to really shift America hard left. In many places, districts and states, it won't take many votes to flip everything permanently left. I can't wait to see my own polling place receive busloads of incoming Somalis to cast their votes, Ohio-style.

/man, I need to forget all this crap and go find a private island

80 Clinton's corruption (which she will totally get away with, by the way) may be the most blatant, but it is certainly not isolated.

She sold out this country and that is starkly obvious, for her own enrichment AND she will not only be successful in defending what she did, but she will eventually manage to sell it as proof of her superior qualifications to be president.

But she is far from alone. She has taken what has become rampant in American crony capitalist (re. corrupt) politics, and she has mastered it.

Politicians on both sides of the isle are wallowing in corruption and both sides of the isle give a flying fuck whether this country is diminished as long as they get theirs.

Clinton may be holding the torch, but she has team behind her.

I would like to read more articles on the ridiculous price of new cars and how easy credit has aided that.

And while we're making linkages, maybe the atlantic could also mention that the ease of getting loans makes college more expensive too.

As I recall there was a group of South Africans that formed a "Mercenary Army" to combat the genocide in Rhodesia? They were call "Executive something-or-other", but the UN forced them to disband because there was something the UN and the Wrold, has against Merc's...how come ISIS is considered a Mercenary Army?

Posted by: Paladin at April 24, 2015 09:02 AM (lP8dE)

Executive Outcomes was heavily involved in the Sierra Leone Civil War. In the first phase of the war, the SL govt hired them to combat the RUF terror/guerrilla group and they quickly stomped RUF into the ground, with a minimum of civilian casualties (relatively speaking, Africa-wise). The war was all but over at that point.

Then the UN got their tits in a twist and pressured the govt to fire EO and kick them out of the country. Within a month or two, RUF got froggy again and took over the country, slaughtering civilians with machetes and bathing Sierra Leone in blood.

Totally unnecessary, and every drop of blood in the second phase of the war is on the UN's hands. As usual.

91 Good on Nungesser for using Title IX as a hammer in his case. Idiots, by which I mean "feminists", forget that Title IX doesn't protect women only. It's gender neutral, in language if not in effect.

That means that there are quite legitimate equal protection arguments to be made given that Title IX is being applied to only protect little girls (because they sure as hell aren't women).

Now, in my dream world, this would lead to a ruling that Title IX, as applied, is unconstitutionally biased.

In this world, the case will take seven or eight years, there will be multiple appeals and then it'll get settled before SCOTUS can grant cert.

See a cruiser in my driveway, so I open the front door. Young officer says he thinks our cars have been broken into, can I come take a look? So I go outside in boxers and a t-shirt, barefoot, approach my wife's car and peer in when the officer abruptly tells me not to touch the glass/door, etc. He points inside the driver's window and there's a cellphone lying right in the driver's seat. "Is that your wife's? Is that yours?". No and no. So he smiles and hits his radio asking for the fingerprint guy to come out.
I'm inside now, waiting a few minutes when the lab car and a K-9 unit arrive. Guys go to the cars, dog starts searching yard, neighbor's yards. They didn't find the guy. Turns out a neighbor had called the police about their car being broken into and while he was leaving the neighborhood he thought he saw that our car doors were slightly ajar so he stopped, saw the phone, and deduced that we had been hit and the phone belonged to the thief. He opened the phone, but it was "locked", with only a pic of a little girl visible on the screen.

155 32 As I recall there was a group of South Africans that formed a "Mercenary Army" to combat the genocide in Rhodesia? They were call "Executive something-or-other", but the UN forced them to disband because there was something the UN and the Wrold, has against Merc's...how come ISIS is considered a Mercenary Army?

157 My bills say "this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private." How can a bank restrict the use of cash to pay any debt?
Posted by: SH at April 24, 2015 10:22 AM (gmeXX)

A) not sure that story is true
B) just deposit the cash and then pay the bill from your checking account.

Either way the transaction is traceable so what is the difference?

Try this theory out. HRC is running for presidency to cover for all her shady (illegal) dealings. When she bows out of the race, she and those around her will effectively receive a public pardon from the country - she is gone, so no need to investigate her further (that will be the mindset - wouldn't be my mindset).

So, local news story. Short version, an old man was being beat up by a bunch of men in the parking lot and a concealed carry holder wanders out of the grocery store and holds a gun on them and tells them to stop. The new reports this and then says "Share your thoughts. Shouldwitnesses take the law into their own hands like this?"

They are getting a ton of pushback in the comments. They also describe other shoppers as getting out their 'weapons', ie cell phones. !!!

I have no doubt that the government, banks, businesses and a lot of individuals would just prefer to do away with cash and coins as currency (all for different reasons). Frankly, there are some good arguments for doing so.

But strikes me as a bad idea and one that we should push back on.

Let me add the Big Bath theory. The Clintons are the source of all corruption in the Donk party so once they get rid of them, it'll all be jake.

So it is your (and presumably Lauie David's Cervix) contention that a republican candidate is never to talk to or interact with te gheys about common beliefs (fiscal responsibility, smaller government, etc.) because he does not agree that they have a civil right to change the definition of marriage?
