Well, if none of the candidates gets a majority of the electoral votes, it goes to second / third rounds of voting and eventually ends up at the House.
And if it's a jeb / hillary slug match... yeah, the drama would be exciting. Because I don't care -- out of those two -- who wins.
It would also be an important step to laying the groundwork for a real third party. Sacrifice a few elections, get the ground game going, get on the ballot in all 50 states, set up a primary process, etc...
hell, if we had done that in '08 instead of voting for mccain, we'd probably be ready to field a serious contender on a third party ticket by now.
