10 Just had a thought:

What if Hillary!'s campaign plan was to have all her malfeasance and corruption overlooked because of all the stupid crap that TFG has been doing, and all his policy failures?

Which would just go to show how stupid she is, since the MFM will report *anything* to take the spotlight off the SCOAMT's failures.

24 I'm on day 3 of the Hillary Love Fest that is my mother visiting.

Thus far I've learned a few interesting not Hillary related thing that might interest the horde.

1) The rank and file dems in Texas really fucking hate Turn Texas Blue because apparently they're both rude and incompetent. A little funny interparty drama there.

2) Wendy Davis is leaving Texas to lobby for equal pay or something. Good riddance.

Now for the Hillary spin:

1) Hillary "really cares" about the middle class, unlike those big business dems who only care about corporations.

2) Hillary is only being attacked so much because she's a woman/ because she's a Clinton and the DNC has never supported her.

3) The DNC is trying to get her to put a Castro in the VP spot.

What bothers me, AllenG, is that all this Outraged Outrage about Shrillery is deflecting attention from Choom Boy's ever-growing list of felonies, high crimes and misdemeanors.

She is not President (yet, anyway). The Mocha Messiah is. Letting him strut away from office -- if he chooses to leave -- opens the floodgates for an even more corrupt, treason-filled administration.

Shrillery might be tempted to at least make a try at slightly better behavior if she sees her predecessor doing time in Maximum Security. At least she might think it could happen to her.,

55 Apparently Chris Rock is bitching that there aren't enough African Americans in baseball.

This irritates me for two reasons.

1) There are a shit ton of black guys from Central America but they don't count, apparently.

2) The reason that there aren't more American black guys playing baseball is because they are playing football and basketball. So what? They decided to follow that path instead. Why, oh why, must every racial "inequality" be considered a problem?

56 Posted by: Insomniac at April 23, 2015 09:24 AM (2Ojst)

I don't know about "apparently just fine" but otherwise: all of this.

1) My "Right to Bear Arms" doesn't stop just because you're scared.

2) Even if it did: a knife is usually a "tool" and only as much of a weapon as, say, a sledge hammer.

3) I think, in addition to body cameras, we're getting to the point where every arrestee is going to have to have a medical exam at a trauma-rated hospital prior to actually going to jail. If he *was* injured at the time of arrest, such attention would have proven it, and been able to address it before he died. If he *was not* injured at the time of arrest, that means he was injured by the police while already in police custody- and that's An Very Bad Thing.

Maybe because this was just to much to stomach and shameless self-promotion? In any case we all know hwat it is but if you can stomch it wnader over there and read through some of the ri projects and accomplishment. Very long on words, goals and generalities and short on specific accomplishments. examples:

"Improved the lives..."
"Empowered women ..."
"Expected to double incomes..."
"Provided training..."
"Addressing food security..."
"Access to opportunity..."
"Facilitated the development..."

and on and on it goes without ever pointing to one quantifiable, verifiable result. Lots of stories of reaching out, connections, winning hearts and mind and, of course, the children. Yeah, Haiti would still like to know what happened to all of the money the Clinton Foundation raised to assist them.

Never quite made it to the island, but IIRC, one of Hillary's brothers ended up with some sweet business deal (maybe part ownership of a mine or something?)

88 "It gives them an additional excuse to roust anybody, especially workmen who frequently use these kinds of knives as part of their trade."

Actually just the opposite. If you carry the accoutrements of a construction worker, if you look like a construction worker, the cops probably let you go. Especially if they check to see if you are actually employed in a construction trade.

On the other hand, if you look like a drug dealer, act like a drug dealer, you probably get arrested. This was the point of the CSMonitor article. It's racial profiling you see, since black gangsters are disportionately affected while white bankers walk free.

I'd long been pretty sure that there was gross incompetence and ideology at work, and was on the fence about actual malice, but the man couldn't be a more effective destroyer of the United States short of issuing an unconditional surrender to whatever effedup society he considers his ideal. I wonder if the Clinton camp is for all-scandal-all-the-time. After all, it gets hard to keep all of them straight. Is this broadcast related to the dead ambassador or the deleted emails? Is that article mentioning getting rich because ofWhitewater orbecause of expensive speeches at universities and Wall Street banks? Is that headline about the ClintonFoundationdue to bribes in exchange for State Department favors in Argentina, bribes in exchange for State Department favors in the Middle East, or bribes in exchange for State Department favors in Russia? Or are any of these about Bill "Hide-Your-Women-and-Underage-Sex-Slaves" Clinton's dalliances?
At some point, the LIVs see "Clinton" and "scandal" and their eyes glaze over. Yet, they notice that nearly all the Dems seem to be backing her, and they gave us Zero because we needed a black man in office, and now we need a woman, so they're sure that the MFM is right and all of this is due to mean Republicans.

Funny how he seems to get people killed in 4s like that.

Yes, that's right! I couldn't remember the details, just knew it was early in his 1st term and he likely didn't have a chance/familiarity w/chain of command to stop the SEALS (military in general) from doing what they do.

184 I Have A Feeling The Media Will Be More Receptive To This

Like I said in the morning thread, the MFM calls CLINTON CASH a "controversial" book by a "right-wing author" with a "history of dubious reporting."

When the exact same author goes after Jebbie, he will be a "crusading truth-teller speaking truth to power, who wrote a shocking expose on the corruption of the Bush family."

Don't get me wrong, anything that is bad for Jeb is good for America.

But the treasonous MFM's bias will be galling. Count it.

Never mind these voices don't actually know if any black people applied. I didn't realize you were required to put your race on your resume. How do we know if the job was offered to someone black and they turned it down?

It's a tired, old broken record.

The rank and file dems in Texas really fucking hate Turn Texas Blue because apparently they're both rude and incompetent.

Which is why Republicans love them.

Yes. *ADMIT* that you're going to push for amnesty for illegal
aliens specifically to let them vote. Yes, *ADMIT* that you're
recruiting people from failed States to come turn Texas into a carbon
copy of those States. Yes, please be as obnoxious about both of those
as possible.

That'll "Turn Texas Blue" in no time, you betcha.
==========
Don't forget: Be as condescending as possible to the Hispanics who live here--even the ones who trace their linage to before the Republic of Texas; assume all they care about is amnesty and voting for a Hispanic surname.

200 Like I said in the morning thread, the MFM calls CLINTON CASH a "controversial" book by a "right-wing author" with a "history of dubious reporting."

Howard Dean tried that on Morning Joe and *nobody* bought it, even Mika pushed back hard.

It was actually fairly glorious. The author gave the NYT and WaPo the public records he used and encouraged them to do their own reporting, which they did. So Joe says it's the credibility of the two papers, not the author. Dean says there's a lot of bad political reporting. NYT reporter on the panel says "what about these specific two" reporters. Dean squirms.

202 I carry (like most men in Texas) a folding knife. When not working it is a Kershaw Ken Onion design. When working it is a Gerber. At work also carry a Gerber multi-tool. Fact is, I am surprised when I see Wranglers without a folding knife clip showing. A knife is a tool and it's normal to carry one. About 6 years ago coming back from Colorado, I witnessed a rollover wreck. First one to the car and couldn't get to the passengers who were hanging upside down in their seats because doors were not opening. A teenage boy stopped too and I saw his Buck knife in his pocket. I used it to break the back window and crawl in to render assistance. I had left my knife in my truck instead of having it in my pocket. Knives are tools and it's normal and prudent to carry them.
