It's obvious that SCOAMF is what he is. I can emotionally and intellectually process that. What I absolutely CANNOT abide is the Republican party aiding and abetting his insanity in order to cash in, whether it's from our pockets or with blood money that can be made from Iran and Cuba. That is utterly the lowest of the lowest that this party has sunk to. It is utterly dead to me in every way possible. Posted by: J.J. Sefton at April 22, 2015 06:34 AM (St6BJ) 26

I was too criptic. My real point is that judging Obama by his actions and not his rhetoric, as Ace has been doing recently is a much more accurate method of exposing his agenda. The loud proclamations of love of Israel compared to the quiet work behind the scenes to eviscerate Israel's ability to defend herself is the only way to accurately assess the SCOAMF. And if so, how? osted by: J.J. Sefton at April 22, 2015 06:56 AM (St6BJ) JJ - My money says that Mossad's already infiltrated most of the installations Iran's got churning out not-nuclear-weapons nuclear material. I'd say ground-based sabotage in conjunction with conventional airstrikes. I'm not sure what timeframe I'd have given earlier, but now that we know the White House has been lying for years about Iran's breakout time... Within the next 90 days. Morning, 'rons and 'ronettes.
No Hollywood story today, but I do have a couple of stories that you might enjoy telling at your next party. So settle down, and let's begin. . . A young lady dreamed one night that she was walking along a little country lane. It wound up a wooded hill, where, at the top, was the loveliest little house she had ever seen, a small white-framed cottage witha picket fence and a garden of roses. Running happily to the house, the young lady knocked on the door, which was answered by an old man with a long white beard. Just as she started to talk to him. . .she woke up. Every detail of the dream was so vivid in her memory that she carried it around in her head for days. Then, three nights in a row, she had the same dream. And each time, she woke up just as she was about to speak to the old man. Well, it happened that a few weeks later she was out driving in the country when, off to the side of the highway, she saw the country lane of her dreams! Shaking, she carefully drove along the the lane, and gasped when, at the end, she saw the little white house she had so often dreamed of. Slowly, she walked to the door and knocked. It opened to reveal the old man with the long white beard. "Please tell me," the girl whispered, "is this house for sale?" "It is, miss," replied the old man, "but I wouldn't buy it if I were you. You see, it's haunted." "Haunted?" echoed the girl. "By whom?" "By you," said the old man, softly closing the door. Now here's a story that was a favorite of the composer Richard Rodgers: It seemed that one night, an unfortunate fellow - we'll call him Mr. Jones - got lured into a poker game with a few sharp characters and ended up losing his entire bankroll. Of course, as you can imagine, poor Mr. Jones was desperate. "What am I going to use for money until my paycheck on Friday?" he wailed. One of the sharpers pulled out his wallet and handed over a five-spot. "Your tears are destroying me," he snorted. "Take this money and scram." Walking home, a despondent Jones was accosted by a lady of the night, shivering and in rags. Jones pushed her aside, and she burst into tears. "I'm starving," she cried. "If you don't help me, I swear I'll kill myself." "Boy, this is really my night," Jones thought, but he handed over the Lincoln. The poor woman kissed him, tears still streaming down her cheeks. "I'll never forget you," she smiled. "You've restored some of my faith in humanity." The next morning, Jones was glancing over the newspaper when he noticed a headline that read "Body of Unknown Woman Taken from River." The description of her dress and hat proved beyond a doubt that the suicide was the woman he had befriended. Shaken, Jones stepped out of his office for a breath of fresh air, where he ran into the sharper who'd given him the money the night before. "Hey, what did you do after you left the game, Jones?" he asked. "Nothing at all. I just walked home." "Didn't you spend any money?" "Not a cent," Jones replied. "Why?" "Oh, no reason," the sharper laughed. "I just wondered what happened if you tried to palm off that phony five-dollar bill I gave you!" Hope you all have a wonderful day. In a baffling series of events, the 24-year-old Franco-Algerian -- known to intelligence services for wanting to fight in Syria alongside jihadists -- was detained Sunday in Paris after he himself called police over a bullet injury to his leg. The thing that really enrages is me that when the SCOAMFs term is up he is never going away.
He is going make Carter seem like Reagan or the Bushs by comparison. He is going to meddle and agitate and try to prevent any new President especially a Republican from moving away from the radical agenda he has set in motion. And with the principleless milk toasts that constitute the GOP I see him being extremely effective. Can you see any network or news agency denying him a platform or an outlet to spew forth his nonsense? Not likely. Posted by: Kreplach at April 22, 2015 07:39 AM (pHEyr) 122

They began talking, but for the life of her, our matron just could not remember the other woman's name! But she kept talking, hoping that a clue would come up in the conversation. At one point, the other woman mentioned her brother. "Oh, yes, your dear brother!" our matron gushed. "I haven't seen him in ever so long! What's he doing these days?" The blue blood fixed her with a withering gaze. "He's still the President." Posted by: Mary Poppins' Practically Perfect Piercing at April 22, 2015 07:49 AM (zF6Iw) 155

How about this? Each of these two fascists gets no punishment at all, except for two instances whereby they enjoy no protection of the law. (Arson and rape excluded, of course; after all, I'm not a barbarian.) Then, do something shocking and horrible and congruent to what they inflicted on others - once. The leader of the group says "That's one. You can't press charges. Happy Thanksgiving." And let them look over their shoulders for the rest of their lives, waiting for number two, which never comes. The holiday, which should be called “Holly Maddux Day,” is named after the young woman murdered by Ira Einhorn, a 1960s antiwar activist. Einhorn, who was a friend of Jerry Rubin and Abby Hoffman, is regarded by many as the founder of Earth Day.
Einhorn emceed the first Earth Day celebration in Philadelphia in April 1970, at which Sen. Edmund Muskie gave the highlight address. Einhorn, an advocate of free love and drug use, was instrumental in gaining the support of corporate America for Earth Day. Einhorn bludgeoned Maddux to death in 1979, leaving her body to decompose in the same apartment where he entertained guests. After his arrest, Einhorn was defended by the liberal Republican senator, Arlen Spector. My Earth Day story:
Several years ago couple we know (she hard core, delusional liberal, he just a be quiet to get along type) called me out of the blue to go to dinner. I thought that was strange because they never do that and it was even a weekday, making it even stranger. In any case we accepted and went with them to a Chinese restaurant and had a pleasant dinner and went home but still slightly confused about the unexpected invitation It was only the next day I realized the they had invited me to dinner on Earth Day and at the the same hour all the moonbats across the country were pledging to turn off their lights, TV internet for an hour to save the planet. No doubt the idea to comply with the hive behavior was the idea of the she-liberal. Also no doubt the idea to go out to dinner instead of sit in the dark was the idea of the she-liberal. Inviting us was probably the idea of the he-pseudo liberal) So the she-liberal had to show her dedication to the cause but couldn't live without modern conveniences for one hour1 LOL! Plus, any energy "savings" were squandered 100 times over by eating in a Chinese restaurant which use massive amounts of gas on specialty woks/stoves for cooking. Oh, BTW these are the "smart" people that know all about science Posted by: George Orwell de Leon at April 22, 2015 08:13 AM (1BQGO) 208

Dawn dish detergent is a wonder item.
I recently read an informative article on the "only 12 cleaning items you really need" and Dawn was at the top of the list. It's an amazing stain remover, especially for oily/greasy stains. In a pinch you can wash your entire laundry load with just Dawn. And wash yourself too. Dawn is even an ingredient of my home made fruit-fly traps that work better than any store-bought traps. Regarding the ONT thingy about Lindsay Lohan texting "I am a donkey" in arabic- When I was dating an Asian gal we had a lot of fun, when she would translate the Chinese ideogram tattoos that knuckle-heads had prominently displayed on the back of their necks or arms. Most of the time the tattoos did not say what the bearer of the tattoo thought it said- Of course, they thought the tattoo said something like fearless or unconquerable or playboy or something like that- but often it was either a kind of absurd nonsense construction like "piece of" something like that. Or often nearly the direct opposite of what they thought- like the "playboy" guys actually said "husband" and there were others like "weak", "stinks", "poor character" etc. Beware the tattoo in a foreign language! Magic. How does it work.
According to the police, Diamond was shot in the back of the head as he lead the SWAT team through the door of Martinez's house. 'When Officer Diamond was attempting to breach the outer door of the location, the interior door opened and he was met with gunfire,' Hernandez told reporters at a news conference. Martinez then surrendered without incident, Hernandez said. Officers did not return fire because the suspect's father was in the way, he said. This implies that Martinez was waiting at the door as SWAT came in, was somehow to able maneuver a shotgun behind Diamond's head, got off one shot, and then managed to move back behind his father before any of these highly trained SWAT officers got off one shot. There are limits to what a 110 appliance can draw every month. One space heater running continuously 24/7 could (off top of head calculation) add another 300-500 kwh. Which *might* put them in the 150-200% usage range. I'd be very suspicious that someone has tapped into their circuit. Or something somewhere is running into the ground. The best way to see actual usage is to open every breaker in the breaker box but one that feeds outlets in the kitchen. Make sure nothing else is running and turn on a toaster to make toast. Check the name plate data which should read somewhere around 1KW for a toaster. Your meter should run 1KW if that is what your toaster is. 1KW = 16.7 watts per min. Our house is about 3,000 square ft. Is that the baseline you were calculating from?
'Average' size house anymore is about 2,500. Which should require a baseline of about 500 kwh per month. Electric resistance heat (or air conditioning) would double or triple that number. So, if you're using more then 1,500 kwh per month somethings wrong. Or you have teenagers. Posted by: SE Pa Moron at April 22, 2015 09:36 AM (xQX/f) 368
How do they read the meter? Could they have read it wrong/typo?
I would occasionally see the meter reader walk in the back yard and read the meter. I am going to check the reading against the bill. Posted by: Cicero Skip at April 22, 2015 09:36 AM (FIrEF) 369
it will be like hearing of the death of Stalin or Mao; an unalloyed good feeling. My Christianity has taken a beating under TFG.

RE: Link at post 356
Nicholas Sord, the driver, pleaded guilty last fall to drunken driving and was sentenced to 56 months in prison. He had a blood alcohol content of 0.236 at the time of the accident, about three times the legal limit. He would have been charged with felony DUI with a death in SC. he would be old and grey by the time he got out of jail. Felony DUI with a death can get you a $25K fine and 25 years in jail. Re 356 -- the article says the drunk driver was her "ex-boyfriend." What I want to know, is he now her ex because he killed her, or was he her ex at the time of the accident?

No problem. You have my curiosity aroused so if you get the chance post them here. I'll check back later. Posted by: SE Pa Moron at April 22, 2015 09:48 AM (xQX/f) 374
"This is idiotic, I know, but once I left the oven on for 3 days because I
forgot to turn it off, and it cost me about $300. That electric space heater might be what's running up the bill." Maybe instead of the space heater, she could use a heating pad? Something that directs the heat to her actual person, instead of the entire room? Posted by: delayna at April 22, 2015 10:30 AM (KnC4k) 375
