3 The Senate has overwhelming passed the "Doctor Fix" bill for Medicare thus removing the phony Obamacare saves us money crap that the commies used for propaganda. But they have proposed no way to pay for this fix, which will cost billions. I suppose Obama will print some more money and inflation will get worse. (more later)

6 The knives are out for Scankles everywhere. A former British diplomat says Clinton screwed up a mission in Iraq because she wanted to watch the American military more than she did the actual mission. Do I believe this, hell yes. If there is one thing Scankles hates it is the American military and now the commies want to make her CnC.

He was, heavens to murgatroyd, convicted by an all white jury! Hands up don't needle me. (AP didn't contribute to this snark.)

22 This story broke yesterday afternoon but some in the morning crew may have missed it.

ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.

The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as Anapra situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.

I am sure the Choom will take action to ensure that the border is closed in those areas to prevent these 6th century savages from entering the US. <s>.

24 Obama says he is willing to sign the bill that Congress has negotiated on the "Iran Deal". That means the RNCe has sold us out again. Any bill that does not force Obama to abide by the Constitution in a ratification process is a POS. I say initiate an emergency suit to the Supreme Court under a writ of mandamus to either force him to abide by the law of the land or get the Supremes to define what is a "deal" vs what is a "treaty".

Posted by: Vic We Have No Party at April 15, 2015 06:19 AM (wlDny)

25 More on that subject:

President Barack Obama made a "deal with the devil" in his nuclear framework with Iran and there's no reason to think it can verifiably prevent the Tehran regime from getting a nuclear weapon, House Speaker John Boehner said Tuesday.

The administration is deporting fewer criminal aliens than it did last year, according to new statistics released Tuesday that undercut President Obama's justification for his new amnesty, which he said was intended to free agents to focus on the most dangerous of criminals by focusing on "felons not families."

I think that you are unfair in tour description of the movie "Titanic". It had really great CGI of the ship, particularly the tripple expansion steam engines. It had Kate Winslet's tits. It had the guy fall from the boat and bounce off the propeller. It had Leonardo DiCaprio die.

What more could you want from a movie? Well, yes, it could have had more car chases, explosions and tits but so could every movie.

I'm glad we'll be out by the end of the decade.

Hope to be out of this budding dictatorship by the middle of next decade as well.

He told a campaign worker he would either have to run as an independent or kill himself, days before doing so.

And still, jerks like the Holy Jack Danforth are claiming this was politics and anti-Semitism. I could understand if Schweich's family was struggling for answers, but apparently they aren't. It's people like Danforth, who still fancies himself a mover and shaker, who is using this incident, figuratively waving the bloody shirt, to try to settle scores with his own enemies in the Missouri Republican Party.

225 What more could you want from a movie?
____________________

How about a decent plot and dialogue, instead of the Romeo & Juliet rip-off and the treacly dialogue that James Cameron offered up?

There were so many compelling stories on the real Titanic that could have been incorporated into a movie script. Instead of those, Cameron gave us nothing more than some fairly decent special effects and an utterly idiotic story line, featuring one of the most unappealing characters in movie history.

What viewer wants to root for "Rose," the selfish bitch who would rather see her widowed mother cast into penury and social disgrace than have to suffer the indignity of marrying a hugely-rich husband she doesn't love? And what was this rich guy's unforgivable sin, other than slapping Rose (which I thought showed remarkable restraint on his part, considering what a snarky, sanctimonious bitch she was)? The fiance' had bought her a large collection of art from artists she admired, but the fiance' wasn't as sophisticated as the pretentious Rose imagined herself to be, and he didn't appreciate her taste. What an outrage! No wonder she'd rather die than be with him!

Then when the little slut starts screwing around with the 3rd-class passenger (DiCaprio's character), she rubs her fiance's nose in her sluttiness every chance she gets. She even has her boytoy sketch a picture of her naked, wearing the necklace the fiance' was going to give her as a wedding gift, and leaves the drawing in the fiance's safe, just to rub salt in his wound. Then, as the ship is sinking, the boytoy and the jilted fiance' care enough for the slutty Rose (why?) to make sure she gets into a lifeboat. How does she repay them? By jumping out of the boat halfway down, ensuring that no one else on the ship has a chance to use the precious seat in the lifeboat that she's vacating. Then when she and the boytoy are in the freezing water, she takes the prime place on the floating furniture piece -- never offering to trade off with the boytoy, who has to remain in the freezing water the whole time and dies. Later, when Rose finds the fiance's expensive diamond necklace in his coat pocket, she keeps it. She doesn't return it to its owner, she doesn't sell it and give the proceeds to charity (or even to her own children for their use); instead she keeps it, and then decades later drops it into the sea, ensuring that nobody will be able to see it or enjoy it or get any use from it. And did you notice when they were showing the photos (that the elderly "Rose" brought on board the ship at the end) that none of the pictures were of Rose's kids or grandkids; all of them were pictures of Rose herself? She wanted to die surrounded by memories of the one thing she loved best: herself.

273 And unless the kids aren't walking yet, I'm against strollers.

We're raising a generation of kids who are being retarded in their musculature and nervous systems by being pushed around and strapped in like mental patients.

The stroller is being used as a restraint device because keeping track of kids on the loose is hard work.

So mommies everywhere are strapping their kids down and forcing them into passivity.

I see them sometimes and you can tell they're not happy being strapped in and immobilized.

It's not natural and it's down right detrimental.

427 That whole Glomar Explorer thing around 232, man! I was a little kid and we had the Time-Life series of the books, like "The Body" and "The Sea" and stuff, really cool books. And I remember reading about the Glomar Explorer, supposedly searching for "manganese nodules" on the ocean floor, and how it was going to be this whole new industry of this magic alloy, all that.

And then many years later, seeing the truth, and that ceremony onboard where they re-interred the soviet crew to the sea, it gave me chills. I mean, they were commies, but they were submariners, I liked that there was some... professional courtesy there. God rest their souls.

But wow, that was back when our guys would feed this story to this Time Life series of books to sell the cover story! There's just something awesome about that. America doesn't seem to do that sort of thing anymore.

Instead we get this Air Force general threatening officers with treason if they mention anything that gets in the way of the A-10 retirement, the whole military culture being eviscerated, this roster coup that has gone down, just.... on and on and on, it's just all bad news now, and it all makes me feel like retarded mutant versions of the Borgias and the Gambinos are running everything, it's just frikkin depressing.

I mean the corruption is depressing, but what is really super depressing is just the Amateur Hour odor all over everything they do. They reek of desperation and stupidity and this weird, nauseating autocratic dorkiness. They're like these sad parodies of jackbooted thugs. What a weird, enervated ambition, to desire to be *that*.

America didn't used to have this amateur hour feel, and now it does... sigh. Well, I'd better get off my fat butt and get this deck mounted to the trailer frame, I've put it off too long.

Oh and somebody mentioned camp. Will there be snacks and delicious libations at camp?

I'm not going to camp unless there are tasty snacks and refreshing libations. I just want to clear that up, right up front.

428 Anyone read the journal online column about freedom of speech? There was a part in the article chastising a British journal called Spiked that accused them of "making transphobic remarks." The interesting thing was, the so-called "transphobic" work was an article relating how trans advocates had mercilessly descended on a family and accused them of killing their son who had committed suicide partly over his unrealised desire to become a woman. So, calling out emotional brutality and fascist behaviour is transphobic. Who knew?
