Quick, let's condemn Israel some more for not building the Palestinians better terror rockets.

Amnesty International said Thursday Palestinian rocket fire during the 2014 summer war in Gaza had killed more civilians in the Gaza Strip than in Israel.

The damning report urged armed Palestinian groups to end attacks on civilians in Israel and to protect those in the Gaza Strip from the effects of such attacks.
The militant group Hamas, which de facto rules Gaza and led fighting against Israel during the conflict, slammed the report as "biased" and accused Amnesty of being a "Zionist organisation".

Amnesty said rocket attacks had killed six civilians in Israel, including a child, but that other rockets aimed at the Jewish state had fallen short and killed at least 13 civilians, 11 of them children, in Gaza.

That was the deadliest own-goal, which Palestinian witnesses of course claimed had been fired by an Israeli F-16. In fact, an examination of the pieces of the weapon showed that it was a Palestinian rocket.

Obama was reportedly so angry about this report that he passed Ayatollah Khamenei the plans for the hydrogen bomb.

A little background:

Berkeley, like a lot of places these days, has a lot of homeless bums who live on the streets.

Berkeley also has an unusual "Ambassador" program in which the city hires folks to act as a sort of a cross between "street patrols" and "Welcome to the city tourist greeters."

But here's the crazy part:

In order to be PC, and to offer jobs to the disadvantaged, the city often hires (what's the right euphemism here) ex-cons and minor offenders and thugs to be the city's Ambassadors. In truth, half the time they end up scaring away tourists and initiating conflicts, rather than smoothing everything over.

The Ambassadors are not the police, and thus don't have any extra powers or rights: they're just people in city-issued uniforms who look official.

Anyway, in the video, two Ambassadors confront two bums who apparently were intending to root around in a dumpster. One of the bums gets (somewhat justifiably) irate that one Ambassador is just standing on his possessions. After some harsh words, the Ambassador just rears back and punches the bum HARD, and then continues to beat on him. The other bum tries to come to his friend's rescue, but ends up incompetently hitting his fellow bum rather than the Ambassador. The second Ambassador tries to restrain the second bum during the beating.

The city is falling all over itself apologizing for the Ambassador's assault.

And the activists are framing this as yet another Abuse of Power by the state. (Even though the attackers aren't police.)

HOWEVER...

...what no one wants to talk about is that this may be racial, because the Ambassadors are both Black, and the bums are both White.

So seen from another angle, this is yet another black-on-white violent crime, this time facilitated by state-conferred authority.

Because of the dangerous conflicting narratives, the media will likely sidestep this minefield!

There was some troll over at RedState the other day all concerned about a one-state vs. two-state solution, and if a two-state solution then what should Israel's border be?

Most of the stuff on two-state talks about pre-1967 borders. I'm more of the mind for the post Six-Day-War borders - either with or without Sinai. 195 I tell ya', Google Earth is just the coolest thing since sliced bread. It is SO handy. I found it to be extra good while following that gunfight up in Kobani. But, today, I type in to the search box this exact phrase, "2nd Ave. and 7th Street, New York City", and within seconds I am in Street View and wandering around in the neighborhood where the building explosion/collapse, occurred. I'm looking into shop windows, catching a drug deal at East Noodle, ogling the babe in the crosswalk, ... ain't life wonderful! It's like owning a teleporter! Pinch me!

198 Back in 2009 thru 2011, the US supplied Israel with 55 5,500# bunker buster bombs. I can provide a link for that fact. Since then, the US has built an upgraded bunker buster that weighs in at around 15,000#s. AFAIK, the US won't provide the new bomb to Israel, and Israel probably couldn't deploy it anyhow as our only delivery platform is the B-52.

The second part is from memory and I may have some pieces of it wrong.
