Marco Rubio: You Know Obama Despises the State of Israel, Right?

The first few minutes of the speech is the kind of stuff I don't like from Marco Rubio, the sort of soft feelgoodery that might play well with old ladies (such as Eldercare Camping enthusiast Hillary Clinton) but which I find boring.

Then, at 2:55, he starts getting mean, documenting Obama's critical statements about Israel, and his constant slighting of it.

He also runs down how quick Obama usually is to congratulate a foreign leader on an election they won -- so long as the leader in question is an enemy or didn't really stand for a real "election" at all.

Pretty much all of the below is a violation of the Logan Act.

The winners make the laws. The losers sit on the side-lines and watch. Walker will get the exact same votes as Romney, with a few more libertarians. Walker is an auto-loss for the GOP. Only Rubio can broaden the GOP base and win the presidency.

A horny little Jewish Princess

Lonely inside

I want a hairy little Jewish Princess
With a brand new nose, who knows where it goes
I want a steamy little Jewish Princess
With over-worked gums, who squeaks when she cums
I don't want no troll
I just want a Yemenite hole

I want a darling little Jewish Princess
Who don't know shit about cooking and is arrogant looking
A vicious little Jewish Princess
To specifically happen with a pee-pee that's snapping
All up inside
I just want a princess to ride
Alright, back to the top... everybody twist!

I want a funky little Jewish Princess
A grinder; a bumper, with a pre-moistened dumper
A brazen little Jewish Princess
With titanic tits, and sand blasted zits
She can even be poor
So long as she does it with four on the floor
(Vapor-lock)

I want a dainty little Jewish Princess
With a couple of sisters who can raise a few blisters
A fragile little Jewish Princess
With Romanian thighs, who weasels 'n' lies
For two or three nights
Won't someone send me a princess who bites
Won't someone send me a princess who bites
Won't someone send me a princess who bites
Won't someone send me a princess who bites

114 39 Talent wins. Why settle for a JV candidate like Scott Walker? Rubio is a wonderful contrast to old, 20th century Hillary.

The winners make the laws. The losers sit on the side-lines and watch. Walker will get the exact same votes as Romney, with a few more libertarians. Walker is an auto-loss for the GOP. Only Rubio can broaden the GOP base and win the presidency.
Posted by: Greymarch at March 19, 2015 06:33 PM (GK5TY)

Exactly, except I don't think Walker would get too many libertarians. I think that was his strategy when he hired Mair, but he'd get more working class whites than Romney, maybe more evangelicals with his Baptist roots, but mostly white men and married women. That's his ceiling.

Much is made of Rubio's appeal to Latinos, but he won election in an a highly Jewish area of voters who were rightfully on the fence about Obama. Evolving on Iranian nukes is a BFD, and only Rubio has the foreign policy chops to speak on this issue without people seeing a mushroom cloud like Jeb.

ALLIES OF PALESTINIANS SEE A FRIEND IN OBAMA

... A special tribute came from Khalidi's friend and frequent dinner companion, the young state Sen. Barack Obama. Speaking to the crowd, Obama reminisced about meals prepared by Khalidi's wife, Mona, and conversations that had challenged his thinking.

His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been "consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. . . . It's for that reason that I'm hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation -- a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid's dinner table," but around "this entire world."

[ Please note: Rashid Khalidi was a spokesperson for the PLO when the U.S. State
Department declared them a terrorist organization. We can only imagine
what were Obama's "blind spots" and "biases". ]

It should be much more worrying that he despises the United States, a country towards which his job does require certain day-to-day obligations, and which he has been - to put it most charitably - ignoring.

Posted by: Gash at March 19, 2015 07:13 PM (Aow3m)

160 Of course Rubio knows all about the situation with Israel and the Palestinians. He stole one of his key schticks from Yasser Arafat.

Arafat would give morning interviews in English for the Anglophone press and talk at length about his deep desire for permanent peace, and a two-state solution, and security guarantees for Israel.

Then in the afternoon, Arafat would give interviews in Arabic to the Arab media, and recant everything he'd said that morning, and recommit himself to the path of permanent war and of "pushing the Jews into the sea".

Rubio gives interviews in English to the alphabet networks, where he says, "Of COURSE we're not going to be giving amnesty recipients the vote and government benefits right away."

Then Rubio goes on Univision and Telemundo and gives interviews in Spanish where he says, "Of COURSE you are going to get the vote and the government benefits right away, muy amigos! Si se puede!"

Ultimately, the American people, like folks in just about every other country throughout history, are pretty much ok with having a tyrant take over, and ultimately, for pretty much the same reasons - actually doing something about it requires, you know, effort, and comes with like, personal risk and stuff, as Lucian said to Kraven in Underworld: "I guess it never occurred to you that you might actually have to bleed to pull off this little coup."

While it is true that they each represent states with large Jewish populations, it is also true that Cuba once had a large Jewish community, 95% of whom fled when Castro came to power. I have distant family who escaped the Nazis by going to Cuba when the US wouldn't take them in and there were many others who did the same thing. I think there's a good chance that their pro-Zionism is sincere. I dont think we should let wanna-be conservatives distract us once again with foreign policy questions from the serious problems this country has. We gave Bush a blank check because of Iraq, Afganistan and the "war on terror" and he took it and went on a spending binge. He also almost gave us another amnesty.

Conservatives should learn from this experience and not let a sleazy, back-stabbing liar like Rubio off the hook because of his foreign policy chest thumping.

Uh, Obama openly flouts the Constitution, openly lies to the population, and pretty much does whatever he wants, all while openly daring anyone to lift a finger to stop him. The fact that you don't like what he's doing doesn't change the fact that he's got balls big as brass church bells. As far as remaking the country to fit his desires, he's pretty much Caligula without the body count. (Congress totally capitulated to him, just like the Roman Senate; both were hailed as "gods," both kept the mob loyal with gifts from the state treasury, both humiliated their respective militaries, etc.) And remember, for as much as the Roman aristocracy claimed to have hated Caligula, his successors all pretty much did the exact same stuff without anyone raising a stink about it.

193 "Jeb has Israel hater James Baker advising him."

There was an article in which it was pointed out that Jeb isn't exactly a whiz on foreign policy, so he has assembled a brain trust to advise him on all of those tough questions, like where again exactly Japan is located.

When you look at the actual composition of this brain trust, it's made up half of former Poppy Bush officials, and half of Dubya Bush officials.

It's like the barmaid at Bob's Country Bunker said in _The Blues Brothers_: "We got BOTH kinds of music in here. Country AND western!"

Jeb's got BOTH kinds of foreign policy advice. Bush AND Bush.

194 I think Rubio has got that "Camelot" thing going for him.

As dumb as something like that is, I'd rather have it on our team than be the old screeching bag.

If we could be first with a Latino President, I see that paying big dividends down the road.

I believe Nip Sip stated a couple of days ago that he is, in fact, doing just that.

And getting along quite well with the ex-missus.

Now admittedly, that's not the typical state of affairs for a divorced couple.

202 Rubio gave an outstanding speech. Like many here, I was angry when he joined the Gang of 8 immigration 'reform' effort and more than a little contemptuous when he revealed he had essentially been swindled by Chuck Schumer, of all people. (What, you mean Chuck Schumer lies? Wow. Who knew?)

So yeah, I like Rubio and remain a Republican--at least until those who oppose the GOP Establishment come up with something better than Let It Burn, which is a mindset, an outlook, not a solution to the dangers the country faces or anything else.

Why is it sad? Is there some plethora of highly-qualified black statesmen out there that will be shut out of the Oval Office? Race should be one of the very last qualifications when it comes to determining fitness to lead the country.

Posted by: Burke at March 19, 2015 07:22 PM

I'm not sure that's correct. I went to the same Baptist church his folks did. His Mom was the church secretary and his Dad was in seminary to become a Baptist minister. Never heard that he converted to Catholicism.

213 When a Republican said that he doesn't believe Obama loves America, the media was all over prominent Rebpublicans asking them if they would publicly repudiate this statement.

When someone in the Obama administration said publicly that Netanyahu is a "chicken****", nobody in the media asked any Democrat, definitely nobody in the Obama administration, to repudiate this statement.

Obama could have repudiated it on his own, too. He could have said something like "I have my disagreements with Prime Minister Netanyahu, but it's unacceptable for anyone in my administration to say this sort of thing about the head of state of a valued ally." (Yeah I'm having trouble picturing Obama actually saying this. I wouldn't bet against Obama himself being the one who said "chicken****" first.)

I think Walker/Rubio is a good ticket. Also like Jindal. Hail, anyone but a Dem.

Huh. Seems this is a rerun of the last, oh, seven years? I do know i am sick and tired and sick and tired and want to be in medically induced coma until either a) I am moved into another state/home and can shake the dust of my shoes of the fubar of my life today, or b) someone other than these clowns are in the WH. Am not picky. Either or.

I saw one of those jokey things via email where today I need a mocha cappichino vodka valium with whipped cream. Amen!
