Spokespeople for the State Department and Clinton stressed earlier this week that the agency had "no prohibition" on the use of private e-mail for work purposes.The most dangerous part of this for Her Worshipfulness is the fact that she knowingly, willfully endangered (and likely damaged) US security all due to her obsessive paranoia that she NEVER BE SUBJECT O PUBLIC CRITICISM, EVER, YOU PROLES. And yet she BARELY won Massachusetts, and mainly because we had some SoCon nonsense in other states that she was able to gain traction with. That was the turning point in the campaign, before that there was even talk she might drop out because she was such a trainwreck. She still is.

That is a good point. They are more than willing to support Hillary (which should tell you something), but they'll balk at Warren unless some sort of "deal" is made. I'm not sure Warren would be willing to make that deal.
Regardless she could still raise a lot of money from other reliable Democrats such as Hollyweird and the unions.

I thought the business world would unite quickly against Obama in 2008 once they realized that he was a stealth radical leftist; I thought they'd have wised up from their previous failure by 2012 and would unite then.
The reality is that, having worked with Obama for a while now, a lot of business barons now simply see radical-left rhetoric about the evils of capitalism as just the opening pitch of a classic shakedown racket.
Obama will go out and talk a big line about how the 1%ers need to be taxed until the pips squeak. Then the next damn day he'll sit down at a private dinner with a bunch of 1%ers, and leave with big checks tucked in his suit pocket. Obama then quiets down his tax hike rhetoric for a while.
It's the Chicago Way.

Ford has been a pilot for about forty years. He also flies helicopters and has flown emergency patients out of the remote area where his ranch is located.. I know someone who met him while working at a small local airport, Ford flew in in a helicopter and needed gas, etc.
He is extremely involved in aviation. As someone said earlier, he seems to not be as good, kind of like that driver you know that has an accident every year. Except planes are not as forgiving.

An airline pilot on this particular flight hammered his plane into the runway really hard. In light of his bad landing, he had difficulty looking the passengers in the eye, all the time he thought that a passenger would have a smart comment. However, it seemed that all the passengers were too shell shocked to say anything.
Finally, everyone had gotten off except for this little old lady walking with a cane. She said, 'Sonny, mind if I ask you a question?' Why no Ma'am', said the pilot, 'What is it', the little old lady said, 'Did we land or were we shot down?'

I never understood why flight simulators simulate how fcuking boring it is. Unless you're doing stunts or taking off/landing. Then it's terrifying. The rest of the time? Snoozeville. I think that's what kills a lot of pilots, they fall asleep or get distracted just at the wrong moment.
Flying takes 100% concentration 100% of the time. It's very intense and tiring. After awhile the human mind and body just goes into a waking coma.
That mostly goes unnoticed because of the dearth of traffic. Except when it happens too close to the dirt.
I'm all for commercial pilots being retired. I don't care how experienced they are, it's the physical part of it that takes younger bodies.

JFK Jr. was a pretty boy, but with the approximate IQ of a rutabaga. A novice pilot flying off into the dusk to find an island in the dark? What could go wrong? No one ever told him it's a BIG ocean out there.
Right after that happened a commercial pilot told me that flying at night over water is terrifying until you get used to it. He said pilots called it "flying in the ink well," and have to learn to trust their instruments implicitly, because your senses are worthless. You can think you're flying level, but be in a very gentle descent, and not realize it until you hit the water. No landmarks, no lights, no nothing to tip you off.

A pilot gets on the intercom and announces to the passengers: "Hello, this is Capt. Jones. We are beginning our descent and should be landing at Logan in-Oh, no! Holy %#$@ Lord!! Son of a bitch!"
After 20 seconds or so, he resumes talking: "Ladies and gentlemen, I apologize for that outburst. I just spilled really hot coffee on my lap. You should see the front of my pants!"

I've read about Lindbergh and a lot of the early pilots. While Lindbergh really went off the rails politically later in life, you have to hand to him as a pilot. It took huge friggin cojones to fly across the Atlantic in what was basically a crate by our standards. Lacking modern instrumentation, he couldn't doze off for a second.

Scenario: Hillary's serial scandals have seriously damaged her politically, leaving the Dems without a strong presidential nominee. Obama announces that his fundamental transformation isn't complete, and he won't leave until he has finished the job. Obama is re-nominated by the Dems. Thanks to all the new voters imported from Mexico, Obama wins the next, and all future elections.
Now wouldn't that be a fundamental transformation!
