I have tons of House and Senate speech broadcasts from that period and you wouldn't believe how many were 100% dead set against any war anywhere.

I would. My grandfather was a conscientious objector during WWII (worked building ships for the navy for a year or two, then moved back home to work the family farm- both occupations were eligible).
Even during the war there were many who thought we shouldn't be in the European theater.
And I agree that, based on actual facts on the ground, something like PH was going to happen. My point isn't that- nor any discussion of history per se. It's debunking the ignorant scrunt's "point" about perceived threats vs. actual attacks.
Not acting on perceived threats got us Pearl Harbor and 9/11. She would obviously prefer that. Which Says Things about her corrupt and morally bankrupt world-view.
