Hell is the only thing that ever gets redistributed. Under Capitalism, only a few suffer. Under Communism, everyone but the ruling class suffers.

I gravitated to Engadget several years ago after I deep-sixed the Gawker sites because they are all shitheads. Then something happened to Engadget relatively recently and they all turned into shitheads. I usually go to IGN for gaming stuff, but when it comes to an actual decent tech blog I'm a man without a country. Hate Wired and Ars is usually too full of themselves.

Do you know any youngish 22-40 African American actors? The ones I know well are all too old. This Roman Catholic drama ministry is looking for an AA man to have a role in their drama ministry about Augustus Tolton who is being considered for canonization in the RCC.

53 Somebody sent me link about an opt-out movement that is growing to fight the increased testing and data collection, much of it tied to common core. This is a worthy cause and I am very interested. Unfortunately it looks like it has a prog spin to it that wants our schools to be nice liberal drone factories. From their website:

United Opt Out National serves as a focused point of unyielding
resistance to corporate ed. reform. We demand an equitably funded,
democratically based, anti-racist, desegregated public school system for
all Americans that prepares students to exercise compassionate and
critical decision making with civic virtue.

I support the opt-out movement and looking for a way to get my kids off that track but the language above to me is a deal killer to supporting the organization. Why does a good idea like opt-out have to be defiled with lefty talking points?
