Early Morning Thread 2/28/15: Visions from Spiritus Mundi. [krakatoa]

Some week, eh?

Hey, at least we made it to another weekend.

I'm going to play with my 1 year old daughter and try to forget for a day or two about the assaults on my liberties from the Left & the Right.

1 Good Morning Morons. Today is Saturday, February 28, 2015. On this day in 1885 the American Telephone and Telegraph Company was incorporated in New York as the subsidiary of American Bell Telephone. The company was later illegally broken up by the communist government of the US using the BS unconstitutional monopoly laws pushed in by Teddy Roosevelt.

7 Craft brewers are lobbying congress for a tax break that other beer producers do not get. They want relief from the hidden federal beer tax that was passed as a temporary measure to fund the civil war. I say repeal the tax for ALL brewers. 150 years is long enough for a "temporary" tax.

62 Although after checking Wiki the feds could only go for the death penalty based on the eight federal agents McVeigh killed, the other 160 victims would have had to have been prosecuted by the state. So the Boston bomber may not be eligible for federal death penalty charges. Unless the law has changed since OKC. I assume congress did something reactionary in the wake of OKC or 9/11 to make it possible to bring federal death penalty charges for killing rank and file Americans vs. federal agents?

Crispy white this morning. Snow event. Several inches. Some of the prettiest snow I've ever seen. Dry, whispy.....like talcum powder.

I would say the roads are fine but several OTRs got bent up yesterday and overnight. Presumably the drivers are not all from Texas.

95 A CNS reporter asked the corrupt secretary of DHS at a news congress to cite the law that allowed Obama to give SS numbers to illegals. He had no answer.
______________

LOL. Laws? We don't need no stinkin' laws!

The law says we're required to deport illegal aliens. We don't feel like it, so we told ICE agents not to deport anybody, and that we'll kick their asses if they even try. Have a court order for your deportation, amigo? No problemo! Let the judge execute that deportation order himself, 'cuz we've already said we're not going to obey those orders! We don't need no stinkin' laws, 'cuz we are the law now!

We are also the new constitution. The old one, that piece of crap written by those raaaaaacist old white slavers, says that the government can only spend money that has specifically been appropriated by congress. We don't like that, 'cuz there's lot of shit we want to spend money on that congress won't appropriate it for (like Obamacare pay-offs to insurance companies, and welfare benefits for illegal aliens). So we've just been handing out money (by the billions) for shit like that, even though there was never any appropriation by congress.

Like I said, We Are the Law! Suck it, bitches!

104 Haha no.

The trick is you go to Kroger. Every so often, they have weeks or days that they have quadruple points on gift cards. Points equate to amount of gas.

1000 points is $1 off a gallon of gas. Up to 35 gallons, so if you have two cars, you could fill both up. (in the same transaction) So, you go and buy $250 worth of gift cards to places you spend your money anyway- Target, Home Depot, Subway, Shell, wherever you spend the most money. That gets ya 1000 points.

For me it's a win-win, because not only do I get $1 off the gas, 3 months later, when I go to Babies R Us, I get to remember "Hey I have a gift card!" and don't spend money out of pocket.

It's a little bit of an investment up front, but I like doing it.

Obama is conducting government by fiat, on a range of issues not authorized by YOUR Congress. Protecting the border, encouraging business, providing energy, civil liberties for ALL Americans is the responsibility of Congress by legislative means, and presently Obama is bypassing your entire branch of government. Only by overriding his veto power can the best interests of Americans be protected. Please stop being a partisan careerist politician, and look after the peoples' interests.
