We don't have "news reporters" any longer, really haven't had any for at least 20 years and it's silly (and destructive) to pretend otherwise. They are Democrat Activists and it's long past time to label them as such. Posted by: Null at February 27, 2015 10:06 AM (xjpRj) 51

The butt hurt is monstrous!
The media better be real careful attempting to smear Walker with old Milwaukee County issues. It'll end up shining a light on the complete and utterly corrupt shitpool that the City of Milwaukee and Milwaukee County are/were and the fact that other than Scott Walker, run by Democrats for most of the last 100 years. He was elected Milwaukee County executive due to backroom dealing scandals by a Democrat controlled county government by a population that said finally enough was enough. He backed it up by winning again...in a Democrat controlled area. Want to smear with John Doe's...? Good luck with that because before this is all said and done there could be a number of elected Democrats in City/Milwaukee County who end up going to jail/paying huge fines/losing their jobs for their illegal activities in pursuing the John Doe. What do you think is going to resonate with a population going into 2016? The John Doe investigation or the middle of the night search and seizure assaults by elected Democrats on families that never ended up being charged with anything? Shit he's taken plenty of skulls at every point here in his time as Governor and the national media thinks they'll cut off momentum with their attempts to destroy him by graying the truth? Your skulls will make the footrest for his throne. Posted by: H Badger at February 27, 2015 10:13 AM (n/0Nw) 69
@59. Eh, it's so much better to leave them in there, bawling. It's not for nothing that some of the old kings of England (thinking Edward II in particular) tarred the quartered remains of nobles who'd rebelled against him and hung them from the walls of cities in England.
Leaving the bawlers in is like tarring and hanging up the remains where everyone can see, while the Empress' erudite, vitriolic mockeryis the metaphorical hanging, drawing, and quartering. Posted by: Lurkingestlurker at February 27, 2015 10:13 AM (k8xvx) 70

Man, how to keep track of all this stuff as the deterioration of our country picks up speed? This story, US Treasury illegally disperses $3 billion to hide Obamacare flaws, State Dept. says new passport apps will now have more "gender neutral" designations. Instead of Mother and Father, they will use Parent 1 and Parent 2. Obama in a speech says he will openly violate the will of congress and veto a vote (didn't know a president can veto a vote...he truly is the lightbringer) against his illegal activity on illegals. ICE agents are threatened for doing their job. Hillary is bought and paid for by foreign lobbyists. The beat goes on unabated and our feckless "loyal opposition" is nowhere to be found.

There is no need for immigration reform, there is a great need for enforcement.
Enforcement of all present law is almost sufficient to fix the immigration problem. Mass deportation needs to be included. Putting up an effective barrier to migration is also needed. Posted by: eman at February 27, 2015 10:56 AM (MQEz6) 219
Young woman at gym this morning says to me 'I can't stand FOX. It's all end of the world stuff. I couldn't live like that.' I don't watch FOX either, in fact, I watch no television news at all. I do however know about the end of the world. Because I watch The Walking Dead. And the young woman at the gym was right. She probably can't live like that. I might, though.

Posted by: JackStraw at February 27, 2015 10:53 AM (g1DWB) I know you know Romney is gone, and is never coming back. So this insistence you have about bringing this nonsense up suggests a different purpose. So let me say this once, and maybe you can get some peace: Romney's problem was not that we didn't love him enough. His problem is that when he had a chance to fight the Scoamf, he blinked and backed off. So he lost. We didn't do that to him. He did. Posted by: BurtTC at February 27, 2015 10:57 AM (TOk1P) 221

People should look beyond the media if they are looking for facts. Posted by: JackStraw at February 27, 2015 10:59 AM (g1DWB) Honestly, I don't remember anything about Romney's amnesty plan. You say it didn't contain amnesty, and maybe it didn't. People claim Rubio's plan isn't amnesty either. If Romney wanted to send a clear message about what he did or did not plan to do about amnesty, I don't recall him doing so. So again, that's on him, not on anyone else. If he wanted to run on being the anti-amnesty candidate, he should have done so. He did not. Which to me means, he wasn't quite so keen on being the anti-amnesty candidate you claim he was.
