55 Reid recalled the painful day of the accident, noting that he and his wife Landra were in their new home in Henderson, Nevada, just outside of Las Vegas. He was performing an exercise on a large rubber band, but when it snapped, it spun him around and sent him flying into his cabinets. The crash nearly caused him to bang his temple, which could have made the accident even more serious. Sources familiar with the incident said Reid was exercising in his bathroom, with the exercise band attached to the shower door.

"It didn't knock me out, but it sure hurt," Reid said calmly Thursday. "And I was taken to the hospital."

Guy is SO wrong, on so many fronts.

Kerry was not 'swiftboated' with lies... it was people who had BEEN there who said HE lied.

But I knew it was gong to go south when I read "
An actress writes a frank memoir chronicling her childhood sexual experimentation and she gets accused of sexually molesting her younger sister"

ie... a Fair reading of what She WROTE, got her accused of what she said she DID...

But then this guy gets all pissed off about SJWs doing to HIM, what he has done to others.... ie... falsely accusing them of some agenda... of reading things not through the lenses of reality, but of some ideology...

So... Chris Beck in the side bar.

Why should I care that he's being eaten by the left? Also- that's not "Swiftboating." All of the Swiftboat allegations were demonstrably true, the fact that the Left didn't want to believe them is different.

But any support I have for him is lost in his inability to see the difference between SJW scolds condemning Margaret Cho (who deserves condemning as *unfunny* not as a racist), and people quite rightly pointing out that Lena Dunham was admitting to, at the very least, indecency with a minor (he calls her book: "a frank memoir chronicling her childhood sexual experimentation").

His entire protestation is, "But I am Of The Tribe! I can say 'shibboleth.' I think those conservatives are 'extreme right wingers!' Why are they doing this to me?"

Well, f*ck that. You don't get my sympathy simply because your tribe has turned on you. You certainly don't get it while you're trying simultaneously to claim victim status while still trying to harm *my* tribe.

190 Soothsayer,
My older brother loves to go grocery shopping & does 90% of mine. Years ago he told me that Stop & Shop in my city is cheaper than others because Market Basket is down the street.
Now that you aren't living close to my city, have you noticed prices?
BTW I've been to Hannaford's on Route 1 twice & I find that store cheaper than Stop & Shop. I liked carrot cake muffins I bought there & they were either .79 or .89 cents each.
I don't know if it's near where you live now or not.

Robert Kraft issued a press release re: NFL investigation.

During the three days they were here, we provided access to every full- and part-time employee the league's representatives requested to speak with and produced every communication device that they requested to search.

So it's not that they haven't shown up yet. They had full access for three days and didn't ask Brady anything.

If anyone is a fan of King Of Queens , one of the best episodes was when Doug and Carrie went to a wedding reception where the had cameras on each table for the guest to take pics of the reception for the bride and groom to look at later. They also had little top hat decorations on the table. Doug thought it would be funny to take I pic of his junk wearing the top hat. Hilarity ensues.

207 Oh yeah and as I mentioned earlier today. Captain America and Star Lord got into a Twitter about the super bowl. That's Chris Evans and Chris Pratt. They even put a wager that will be cool if it gets carried out. Seahawks win and Evans has to show up at a Seattle children's hospital dressed as captain America carrying the 12th man flag. Patriots win and Pratt has to show up at one in Massachusetts dressed as Star Lord with a Brady jersey.

226 This movie is racist and will not be shown in Brattleboro. Persons of some color are portrayed as mean and uncaring where it is the opposite because of Bush policies. Presdent Obama has done a lot of work to reach out a hand of friendship and now this movie destroys it. Both deny that either comment had anything to do with rmthe movie itself. Moore said he just made his statement since the 'subject' of snipers was in the news and was just sharing family history. Rogen to paraphrase, said he wasn't comparing American sniper to a Nazi propaganda movie only that it reminded him of the sniper movie in Inglorious Bastards and that he did not intend on it being any political commentary.

I'd serve him breakfast in bed every morning and dinner would always be hot and ready on the table. I'd never complain if he left the toilet seat up, and I'd let him watch as much football as he wanted. Most importantly, I'd never say no, ever - I mean, what woman could?
