13 More hacked emails released. Think this one shows you what stand-up guys they have in Hollywood:

The email is from executive Michael Lynton, who suggests that in the

future, Sony shouldn't hire black actors like Denzel for leads in films.

The argument Lynton makes is that the rest of the world is "racist"

and they don't want to see black actors in lead roles, so every time

they cast someone like Denzel in The Equalizer, their foreign box
office is going to sink. Thus, they shouldn't hire black actors for
lead roles, obviously. About Denzel specifically, Lynton wrote:

"He's
reliable at the domestic [box office], safe, but has not had a huge
success in years. I believe whenever possible the non event pictures,
extra 'bets' should have a large inherent upside and be made for the
right price. Here there isn't a large inherent upside...believe that the
international motion picture audience is racist - in general pictures
with an African American lead don't play well overseas."

"When you like someone more than he likes you, you'll do anything to switch the scales."

dailycaller.com/2014/12/18/what-uva-student-jackie-wrote-in-email-about-friend-she-liked/

The email forwarded to Duffin, titled "about u," is bizarre for several reasons.

As Duffin has said in interviews, he found it strange that the man who Jackie claimed had been involved in her rape just days before would be sending him an email -- especially one of that nature.

Even more strange -- as the Rolling Stone article has been debunked, it has come to light that Monahan likely does not exist.

'Yes, especially when we see so many pics today of military dogs mourning their fallen masters.'

There is an organization out of Texas that rescues dogs in combat zones through donations, reuniting many dogs with their caregivers. These are not usually military dogs per se, but dogs taken onto bases by soldiers and contract workers, that end up in many instances being life-savers non the less.

41 Ashe Schow is pretty spectacular. Her mind too.

She wrote an article making a great point, which is that California law not only institutionalizes "yes means yes" but it means that the female can declare rape at any point in the process (including after the fact?), and the male is defenseless. Worse, Senator Gillibrand thinks this approach has enough merit that she may federalize the rule.

On top of the very odd criticism that Milo is "culturally out of touch" (what?), he seems to be engaged in... I dunno, it's like he's trying to engage in a "gayer then though" contest with Milo.

He basically says that, even if your readers beg you to do an review, you shouldn't do it if you... don't like something? If the product is "inclusive"?

It's just so weird. It reads like one of those "back on the plantation" columns that you see liberal blacks direct towards conservative blacks.

I agree, generally. However, Hollywood makes all sorts of bad business decisions based on their progressive interests. Like just about every war movie - all of those stinkers where the US soldiers are deranged, damaged, killers - that typically fail to clear $1 million at the box office. Same goes for all of those Christian hit-job indies that don't make anything. If they were really all about the bottom line they would be making more pro military movies (that actually make money) and respectful religious movies (that actually make money). When they make their crappy, ideological stinkers they claim the mantel of "artists" and when they make racist decisions the claim "business". Sort of a clown nose on, clown nose off routine.
Anyone think the Michelle-Barack love story will make money?

From what I can tell, there are now about twenty available games (already sponsored/paid for) and another twenty or so "maybes". My hope is to get more than five games out of the twenty definite ones, I'd like more, but I'm not going to get greedy, I'm still the FNG.

The entire article was a bit off. Though, Milo's article was also strange, until you realized it was an attempt at comedy. Milo pans DA:I in the text, and then gives it an 8.8.

There are indeed technical problems with the game, and the art could give more personality to the characters. The DRM, of course, it complete crap, and Bioware would have been better off to drop their grudge against Steam and just let Steam handle it.

But, Gabe obviously wasn't in on the joke. The anti-gay remarks by openly gay Milo should have been a tip off.

The bank heist scene was shot kitty corner from my office and made it hell getting into and out of my office and screwed with teh local businesses, which had to be closed during the shooting (though i believe they received compensation). Denzel was the only actor thoughtful enough to give each business affected by the shoot an autographed picture. That may not seem like much, but none of the other actors, including Jodie Foster, did not give a rat's butt for the local businesses.

I liked his Man on Fire. Have seen much of his other recent stuff, including Inside Man.

It's a beauty, definitely. Although neither hubby nor I have been able to really get into playing it. It's gorgeous to look at but we're just not having fun. At all.

183 Hammer! Looks like someone brought a lance to a Peacemaker fight! The machine-gun carnage scene in "Connecticut Yankee" leaves an impression. What a pain in the ass it must have been to have Twain around. Could have been worse: Bierce. Did I mention, my grandfather was Twain's "bootlegger"?

It's just me I'm sure, but I found "Crimson Tide," in full, to be a very anti-military movie. Despite the good parts, and I'm a sub-movie fan. It showed the US military as a bad-attitude short fuse ready to go off, and its officers all nuts. DW, of course, played Obama. Just ask Obama.

Gabe gotta Gabe. If you don't like current movies, just abandon the field. Then sit up all night bitching about the English Dept being full of commies. How dat happen? One in a while someone has to comment on the Emperor's wardrobe. When the nation was kinda-sorta straight arrow and the critics were all leftists, it was all "No In Thunder."

That is correct. Helping other people is racist and undermines government authority. There should be a federal government employee present to get things on the high shelves.

We had a delivery from chocolate Santa yesterday. 15 minutes later the neighbor received a delivery from different UPS truck. The drivers must have waved to each other on their way out of the neighborhood.

194 Spengler (sidebar David Goldman article) makes a great point about how silly libtards have become. Imagine a painting of the Three Wise Men standing around a crèche. Formerly the title would be "Adoration" or something appropriately Christmas-like. In libtard America, it's "What Gender Will It Become?"

203 One dark and stormy evening a knight in armor knocked on the door of a rural inn. The innkeeper admitted him and heard his tale of woe. In the midst of battle the knight had been unhorsed, and had made his way to the inn on foot while the battle raged on. "I need a horse so I can rejoin the forces on the field of honor", the knight exclaimed, "Can you provide me with one?"

The innkeeper declined, having no serviceable mounts in the stables.

"How about that St. Bernard in the corner? He looks sturdy and quite big enough for my purposes!" the knight said.

"Oh heavens no," the innkeeper said. "I wouldn't dream of sending a knight out on a dog like this!"
