Pay-for-Passage: Senator Robert Menendez Pulls Strings for Visa for Woman Banned from US Travel, Due to Visa Fraud, So She Could Work at an Obama Fundraiser

And he did so with the express written authorization of Hillary Clinton.

And when I say she was involved in "Visa fraud," what she was actually doing was sneaking women into the country claiming them to be "business associates." Their real purpose? Maids for her parents' estate.

Ecuador characterizes that Visa fraud as a "form of human smuggling."

Oh, and the woman's father is fighting extradition back to Ecuador on charges of banking fraud and money laundering.

The family members donate lots to Obama -- and to Senator Menendez.

A former US ambassador to Ecuador said that pulling strings to secure a Visa for someone accused of Visa fraud would be "highly unusual" -- especially if that person was not actually a constituent of the Senator pulling the strings (and the woman in question is does not live in the state of NJ, which Menendez allegedly represents).

In any other nation, this would have counted as a career-ending "vote of no confidence" in the nation's top elected official, and he either would have resigned in shame, or resigned to salvage his party's future prospects, or been unceremoniously removed from office if he didn't resign.

Instead, the opposite is happening: Obama has gone on a left-wing rampage, enacted a barrage of boner-inducing leftist fantasy dictatorial actions.

And the supposed "winners" of the election are doing next to nothing about it.

I'm confused -- is voting irrelevant?

This is the stuff of people's uprisings. Governments have been deposed over less.

That was just the fristration in me talking.

The "hell" that will be paid will have to come in 2016, where in the electorate's growing anger and frustration MORE RINOs and socialist-Dems are voted out, and more Ted Cruz/Trey Gowdy-types voted in, until their majorities in both houses of Congress are at 60+% and can't be overruled any more.

That's all I got.

107 I'm not RC. although I think I'm somewhat well informed about the tradition and its doctrine. and I deeply appreciate much about the tradition The Pope is the earthy head of the church but what makes something doctrine comes specific teaching:

"To fulfil the teaching office of their pastoral ministry, the Apostles and their successors, the bishops, are given a gift of infallibility in matters of faith and morals. The Pope, as head of the college of bishops, enjoys this gift of infallibility in a unique sense. As pastor and supreme teacher of all the faithful, and charged with the responsibility to confirm his brothers and sisters in the faith, the Pope may proclaim as definitive a point of doctrine touching faith and morals."

His personal opinion about Cuba is a political POV. I assume he has concern fort the RC in Cuba. It is not related to sacred doctrine.. faith or morals. He's not speaking "ex cathedra " from the Papal Chair. I don't accept all the political points of view of my Bishop. It doesn't make me question the traditional understanding of the doctrine nor question my faith.

they can do a lot of things.
First, they need to come up with, for want of a better term, "Contract with America." Doing good things for the average American. Lower taxes, fix health care, etc.
All the bills that Harry Reid pocketed? Send them to Obama. Then we'll really find out who the Party of No is. Obama will probably whine and cry, and veto them, but his true colors will be revealed.

doing was sneaking women into the country claiming them to be 'business

That sort of thing is just the nicer above-water part of the visa abuse iceberg. What lurks below is uglier still.

Here in the SF Bay Area not all that long ago, an immigrant slumlord in Berkeley filed a bunch of H-1B visa applications -- you know, the visas meant for "skilled technical workers" to fill in for supposed shortages of skilled American citizen workers. He used those visas to bring in teenage girls, average age 14.

Wow! I guess that overseas, they start learning advanced software engineering methodologies really early on, huh? Kids not too long out of junior high school. Just the ticket for a leading edge high-tech startup company.

That's apparently what the US federal labor authorities figured, because they promptly approved all of the visas.

Except that these girls weren't doing any coding, unless "coding" is done flat on one's back on a ratty mattress. The slumlord was pimping them out as child prostitutes. Right there in the heart of deeply liberal Berkeley, CA.

182 When I see stories like this my questions are always: Who is leaking this story? Why are they leaking this story? Who will benefit from this story being leaked? Why is this news organization reporting this leak?

If it damaged a Republican, the answers would be obvious but when it is a result of Democrat infighting, the background story is more subtle.

The most interesting part of the puzzle to me is always why the left wing media is reporting this stuff. They spike a lot more stories than they ever report to the public, so why this?

So we let three convicted communist spies out of jail, and in return Cuba let a communist idiot out of jail.

To celebrate this mutual release of communists, we become allies with a communist nation.

You left off the incredible conclusion that exposed him:

He then hired MORE illegal workers to fix the roof on his child-sex whirehouse apartment building, and the idiots covered over the heater vents with roofing tar, so the carbon monoxide built up in the apartments and killed one of the girls.

Only after that happened did the whole scheme get exposed.

Guess what?

He got only EIGHT YEARS in jail for this, served less, and is ALREADY OUT, having served his sentence. He walks around Berkeley a free man right now, having enslaved girls as both sex-slaves and restaurant worker slaves, and killed one of them, and also raped most of them,

263 It seems like Obama was doing something along these lines anyway (and it's convenient this deal broke the same day as the Ecuadorian scandal). The point of Pope Francis being involved is almost as to deflect any criticism of the deal from Obama to the Pope and make him the focus of doing the left's work. He may have called for better relations, but Obama didn't have to make the deal (not like he's Catholic).

And the media is all too willing to tie this to the Pope. "Look you stupid Catholics, your Pope is saying this is good... SO IT'S GOOD!!!"

Oh no, the slaves will not fuck THEMSELVES, that will be the privilege of their jaded owners who are holding the visas and touching up their BDSM gear. Funny how in the wake of the BDSM normalization movement we get all these reports of "illegal foreign sex workers" storied making the news. Since vice is a victimless crime, then no one involved is a victim, right?

It's why I routinely refer to Democrats and such as "Reds" - because whatever they call themselves, Marxism animates their views, and I believe in calling a spade a spade.
I'm aware that some think that doing so puts me (and now you) in tin-foil hat territory, but we have had the benefit (?) of seeing the Reds up close and personal in the Bay Area, and with that experience it's difficult not to see what's going on, and to draw your conclusion.
