Pretty damn good. Only hiccup to today is that my grandma, dad's mom, basically didn't feel like showing up. So that riled a few folks, namely my mom and dad, but all in all it was a fine day. Tons of great food, drinks in hand, football on tv.

Doesn't get much better.

How bout you and yours? Doing good I hope?

19 BC everything great. Good food with wife and daughter. Son lives in vegas now, and couldn't see flying home for chrismas and Thanksgiving so pretty quiet around here. The girls are going through the black Friday adds and I'm watching football.

I dug out the recipe and told him the modifications I recalled this summer when he wanted to bring it to a potluck and now he has a dish he makes for special occasions.

I was going to make cthulhu's roasted tomatoes, with my alterationd & additions but changed my mind.

I was supposed to go out to a friends for dinner but had neck injection Monday & it's still worse. I went out yesterday & bought tenderloin steaks for me & my older brother instead.

I washed tomatoes & when I bent to get pan decided 12-14 oz steak was enough. My best friend is bringing me white meat, mashed potatoes & peas home.

That's what I loved best about Thanksgiving.

75 Our turkey was absolutely perfect. The allrecipes.com citrus brine is a winner. stuff with onions, carrots, celery, and onion for more flavor and cook it Alton Brown style (500 for 30 mins, 325 until done - foil over the breasts) makes for a juicy, tender bird.

Mom's stuffing with pan-drippings gravy is my favorite part of T Day. That & the crispy skin.

Best part of today's meal? My sister didn't come over, so I didn't have to share the skin with her!

Neck is worse from injection for shoulder. I should be better by Saturday.

It's always going to hurt. It's worse from meds injected for shoulder.

Why didn't your sister go?

We've misunderstood each other, me & neck pain dr. I told him Monday injections in June did zilch for neck & he replied he got nerve in right arm. I'm going back on the 9th to clear up & have him do to neck what he did four years ago. That series helped neck pain.

86 Hi Hordelings! Just got back from my friends' house. They put on a magnificent spread and the conversation was lively, fun, and politics-free. I could not have asked for a better holiday.

I wasn't even that disappointed that I couldn't bust out one of those great "I'm thankful for" suggestions, i.e., "the inevitable conservative supreme court appointments by President Perry", etc.

Then I realize that I am almost 50, and she is almost 80. Enjoy the time you have with the ones you love.

Past 15-20 years clothes have grown new sizes to Double 00 & I some cases Triple 00o & are bigger than old size 2!

I have small hips & hips cannot grow.
Women's dresss size 4 used to fit but since 2013 they started making for big butts & no boobs!

108 Man, I am so thankful GOD put me right where I am. There are poor bastards being eaten by dinosaurs right now on television. And here I sit at the computer safe in a warm house. Of course I am well-armed.
