Your Regularly-Scheduled Post-Election Friday Document Dump: IRS Discovers 30,000 "Lost" Lois Lerner Emails

Remember the disaster-recovery tapes, upon which a record of all emails was inscribed, which the IRS previously refused to search?

Well, with federal judges scrutinizing their efforts, they've finally bothered to search those tapes, and found 30,000 of the missing emails.

Though I strongly suspect that the most incriminating ones will themselves be missing from the found emails.

Up to 30,000 missing emails sent by former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner have been recovered by the IRS inspector general, five months after they were deemed lost forever.

The U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) informed congressional staffers from several committees on Friday that the emails were found among hundreds of “disaster recovery tapes” that were used to back up the IRS email system.

"They just said it took them several weeks and some forensic effort to get these emails off these tapes," a congressional aide told the Washington Examiner.

...and to shred the worst ones.

40 So why aren't people going to jail for lying to and misleading Congress and the Court?

If no one is jailed (not fined, jailed), then justice is not being done. Even if it takes two years until Holder is out, people need to see the gray bar hotel. And it shouldn't take the Court to not intervene because Holder exists.

321 "I just opened my 37% increase, electric bill. It's emailed to me and I'm going to compare to last month's."

The scary thing is that increases of this sort are just the beginning for those who have the misfortune to live in New England.

It's because all over the region, conventional power plants are being shut down and dismantled. With the intent that "green, renewable" power sources will magically do all of the same things.

Except of course at much higher cost, of which this is just the leading edge. And with much lower reliability. Especially in the winter.

Good thing it never gets seriously cold in the New England states.

Oh. Wait.

You may have heard that "The wages of sin is death."

The wages of ecoholism are freezing to death.

514 It's time to play What Would the Republicans Do? It's an easy game, and fun for family get togethers. Let's see...

Q number 1: A president does whatever he wants and then says it's Republcans' fault. What would Republicans do?

A: Nothing.

Q number 2: The IRS is used to suppress the political opposition party of the president and his buddies. What would Republicans do?

A: Nothing.

Q number 3: The president of the United States refuses to enforce current law regarding immigration and does not protect the border. What would Republicans do?

A: You guessed it, Nothing.

Q number 4: The president and his buddies in the legislature ram through crappy heath care legislation that wrecks the healthcare industry, causes people to lose their health insurance, and the majority of the people hate it. What would a Republican do?

A: Yep! Nothing.

Q number 5: A plethora of recordings surface of a prominent architect of the disasterous health care legislation calling the American people stupid, and admitting to lying about the law so it could be passed. What would a Republican do?

A: You guessed it! Absolutely nothing!

...see how easy it is to be a Republican? You indeed are the do-nothing party, but not for the reasons that the media suggests. While they want to bully and badger you into doing whatever the dumbocrats want, the American people sent you to congress to represent them and stand up against the tyranny of this administration.
